.aspx 301 redirects on Business Catalyst

Hi
I am have moved my website from .aspx to business catalyst.
I have found out (when the site already migrated!) that Business Catalyst does not support .aspx 301 redirects.
On a previous post from 2012 (https://moz.com/community/q/aspx-files-will-simply-not-work-as-redirects) , someone has recommended a java script re direct. I have tried this but google search console is classing this as a 404 resulting in no link juice and my website dropping pages on google.
I have tried to do 301 redirects at my server level but wont work.
Anyone know a solution?

Hi Guys
Thanks for all of your help. After weeks of trying lots of suggestions (including the ones above), we have finally found a solution - Cloudflare.
We have done our 301 redirects via cloudflare to remove the .aspx
E.g. /old-directory/page1.aspx has been 301 redirected to /old-directory/page1 using cloudflare. This has removed the .aspx and allowed me to use business catalyst's 301 redirects to direct /old-directory/page1 to new-directory/page1
This has fully restored my page rank!
I would like to thank Adam at Redback Creations in Northern Ireland for helping me with this issue.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do on Business Catalyst to redirect the .aspx pages.
This is what we have done in the past for situations where we needed to make sure the .aspx pages are redirected and you do not have access to existing server. The solution is not ideal, and takes a bunch of extra work, but may be worth it for clients who are really concerned with SEO:
- Build new website on BC
- Take the HTML/CSS output of all the pages and load onto another server outside of BC.
- Setup the redirects for all pages on the site (including the .aspx pages) to the new .html location on this temporary server
- Point the domain to the temporary server
- Wait until Google has indexed the new location of the pages
- Point the DNS over to the BC website
Or, I believe Oleg's suggestion will work if you do this prior to moving the website over to Business Catalyst. Putting redirects on the old server will not do anything if you have pointed the DNS or the a records over to BC already.

Hello moz community ! I would to make a special 301 redirection through my htaccess file. I am a total noob concerning regexp and 301 redirection. I would like to redirect(301) this url : http://www.legipermis.com/stages-points/">http://www.legipermis.com/stages-points/</a></p>; yes yes it's in the index of google, this strange url includes the last ; to http://www.legipermis.com/stages-points/ I have already include a canonical tag by security, i would like to remove url with a 301 redirection and by remove this url through GWT (but the removal tool can't "eat' this kind of URL) Please consider the fact that i am not an expert about 301 redirections and regexps. No 301 redirect generator works properly for such a strange URL (which triggers content duplication corrected anyway with canonical tag). Thanks for your help.

301 redirects don't work properly
Hello all, I've been working on 301 redirects for a bit and normally it's no problem but some seem to be going wrong. Redirect 301 /3-zits.html http://www.bankstellenshop.com/banken/3-zits.html This one works properly but the following one gives a very strange result as it goes to http://www.bankstellenshop.com/bankstellen.html/u (no idea where the .html comes from) Redirect 301 /bankstellen/u http://www.bankstellenshop.com/bankstellen/u.html Any idea what I'm doing wrong or what should change? Crawl errors: 301 (permanent redirect)
Hi, here are some questions about SEO Crawl Diagnostics. We've recently found out this 301 (permanent redirect) errors in our website and we concluded that the two factors below are the causes. 1. Some of our URLs that has no / at the end is automatically redirected to the same URL but with / at the end. 2. For SEO reasons we have designed our website in a way that when we type in a URL it will automatically redirect to a more SEO friendly URL. For example, if one of the URLs is www.example.com/b1002/, it will automatically redirect to www.example.com/banana juice/. The question is, are these so significant for our SEO and needs to be modified? One of the errors in our blog was having too many on-page links. Is this also a significant error and if so, how many on-page links are recommended from the SEO perspective? Thanks in advance.

Redirecting 404
Hi. I'm working on a wordpress site, which got some old deleted pages indexed and now shows a 404 (also in the results) As these old pages earlier got content and probably also some links pointing towards it, what would then be best practice to do? Should i make an 301 redirect? Make the 404 noindex?

301 redirect blog posts from old URL to new one
I moved a wordpress blog from domain.com to domain.com/blog . I want to redirect the links in google from the old domain.com to the new one, but I also want to put a new site/application at domain.com..so I'm thinking an .htaccess 301 redirect at the root wouldn't work. Any tips?

Here is how it puts out :
I have 2 websites, same niche, mostly same keywords.
Site #1 holding strong on google #2 ranking for months now.
Site #2 was holding strong in google top 10 rankings until 2 weeks ago when it got sandboxed for some reason
I want to use a 301 permanent redirect from Site #2 to Site #1 to pass all the link juice onto Site #1 and hopefully beat the #1 spot
The question:
Will this affect Site #1 is anyway, considering Site #2 is in somehow sandbox ( i assume that, since he dropped more then 70 positions over night )
Is thins a good think to do or i risk damaging Site #1 by doing this ?

Worth Changing Redirect From 302 to 301?
Hi, I'm doing an audit on a site that had a redesign in Dec 2009. For some reason I looked to see what kind of redirects were used from the old pages to the current ones, and it looks like they used 302s, which obviously isn't ideal. Given that it's been so long and those pages have looong since been de-indexed, is it worth me suggesting that they change those old redirects to 301s? My thinking is that if those old pages were linked to externally then I should recommend it, but I can't find any link info on Linkscape/OSE, Majestic SEO or YSE. Any comments appreciated.

Should I 301 redirect my country specific sites, or use them as linking root domains?
I have loveelectronics.co.uk, but I also own 10 other country code specific domains. I am short on links (i'm actually still setting up the website) and wondered that until i have country specific content, should I 301 redirect these websites to the homepage of my main site, or could I use them as links which would mean I have more linking root domains? Sorry if this is a beginner question, but it would be good to know so I can sort this.
