Moz & Google Tag Manager

Does Moz take into account Google Tag Manager or will it keep flagging up duplicate content, etc?
-
Thanks Vijay, I did read this a few days ago and it wasn't helpful. All of the information was either not relevant to my situation or inconclusive.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Opencart, so I'm not sure how you'd assign canonical tags to product pages using that service.
Moz's tools will always report every crawl issue we find, so you'll need to find a solution that stops these notices coming up in the first place. Unfortunately, I'm not an SEO and I'm not sure what the best strategy would be for doing that. Sorry I can't be more help! Maybe one of our friendly and helpful Community members will be able to weigh in here.

Hello Tawny,
Thank you for the response. My problem is that I don't know how to assign Canonical tags to product pages in Opencart, and anytime I ask the question I get a vague response or a link to a post with little relevance to the question. Therefore my only option has been to use the Google Tag Manager or Robots.txt, which is all good and well for Google but if I'm going to pay for Moz I want it to be accurate.
Perhaps you can answer the question nobody else has answered?

Hi there! Tawny from Moz's Customer Support team here.
That's an excellent question! Our tool has a 90% tolerance for duplicate content, which means it will flag any content that has 90% of the same code between pages. This includes all the source code on the page and not just the viewable text, so often it's a matter of finding the best answer for the duplicate pages in question.
For instance, often with ecommerce sites, product pages will come up with duplicate content between two colors of the same item, and in that case it's good to use the canonical tag. https://moz.com/learn/seo/canonicalization
If there are two versions of the site that exist - for instance, example.com/subfolder and www.example.com/subfolder - you can put in 301 redirects to the correct page: https://moz.com/learn/seo/redirection.
If it's just two pages on different subjects but thin content, filling out that content with an extra paragraph or two can help.
There are more in-depth explanations of common answers to duplicate content on this page, if you're curious!: https://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content
Moz's tools won't take Google Tag Manager into account - you could still see duplicate content errors pop up. Using canonicalization or redirection should help cut down on those errors, though!

Location Data Batch Updates via the MOZ API
According to the MOZ API documentation, I am able to update multiple Locations in a batch in order to create or update their location data, currently 130 locations. I have successfully created a batch and the API returned the $id, as I expected. Yet, it doesn't make clear how the multiple locations I want to update are supposed to be sent back to the API. I was expecting an upload of a CSV file or JSON data, and not Query Parameter as noted in the docs. When including a JSON file, properly formatted, as a binary upload, the response is still expecting a locations parameter. See error here: { "status":"MISSING_PARAMETER", "message":"locations missing. ", "response": { "locations":"MISSING_PARAMETER" } } https://moz.com/developers/docs/local/api#_api_batch__id-PATCH

About Expiry of MOZ API authentication and MOZ API call in .NET application
MOZ API signed authentication is getting expire after particular time, and coming up with the error "Authentication has expired , Re-send your authentication". **right now we are getting new authentication details using ** https://moz.com/products/api/keys after doing login. but, how do we get new credentials (authentication details) , by doing MOZ API call using c# or any other programming language, we are using this API in .NET. Also, How we can increase the session expiry time. i think it is concerned with the Sample Expires of Signed authentication , but we are unable to change it , as it is coming with the authentication failed.

What is Moz's Error.aspx?aspxerrorpath HTTP Status 302 error message?
Hi, I am not sure what this error message is: "Error.aspx?aspxerrorpath". It immediately follows pages that are given at 302 status in Moz's crawl report. The same pages have never had this error before: | http://www.homedestination.com/news/2013/Minneapolis-home-price-appreciation.html | | http://www.homedestination.com/mortgage-worksheet.html | | http://www.homedestination.com/foreclosure-eligibility.html | Each page has a 100% score with WC3. Could you give me more insight as to what Moz may suggest I do to give the page a 200 HTTP status as before? Thanks.

Can any of the MOZ APIs give me the top 10 google results for a keyword?
I'd like to feed a list of keywords into the Moz API and get back a list of the websites that appear on the first page for that keyword. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?
