Keyword Opportunities in Insights Area Suggest SPAM Keywords?

Happy Holidays Moz family,
We were recently reviewing our insights on an account and the keywords suggested were:
1. malibog pinoy sex story
2. desi bhabhi ki chudai
3. cennai mamies pundai mulai
Clearly these are SPAM or something. We have run malware scans of the site, used Google Webmaster tools to identify incoming and outgoing links and don't see anything. I have also exported the entire site to Notepad++ and searched for these terms. Nothing. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions! We're having some ranking issues with the same site so perhaps this is the root of the issue. The site has some great links.

For anyone stumbling across this we were able to identify the issue. We had a WordPress installation that had a hidden database full of SPAM and bad links/images etc. The Database could not be located in MySQL which was interesting, so we had the client agree to allow us to delete ALL content and start from scratch. (They had previously been hacked with another vendor but owned their WordPress website). We were migrating the database because they had hundreds of blog posts. We all agreed since they weren't doing any good we would start from scratch.
Deleted entire website off of server, reinstalled WordPress and we've seen a 745% improvement in keyword rankings. We have over 20 keywords now ranking on page 1. Woot!

Thank you! I've checked this out previously and it looks the same. When we took this customer over, their site was hacked. Perhaps Insights is still reflecting what the site looked like previously. I think I will delete from MOZ and add it back in to see if it is different. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

Hi Tosten,
Try fetching and rendering your site as Google within Google Search Console. You will be able to see how Google sees your site compared to how users see your site, and that may reveal if and how you have been hacked.

Lots of missing main keywords from Search Console
Hello Moz Community, A while back I noticed in Google Search Console that the volume of impressions and clicks dropped off a cliff. I also noticed that this was for primary head keywords that generally had a decent volume of impression share. The natural initial reaction was 'oh, I must have lost those rankings' but upon checking I realized these rankings are still in existence. Admittedly most are page 2 or 3, but still within the confines of being captured in GSC. Is there a logical reason why these keywords have just gone from search console? An example keyword would be something like 'online football management game' and the website is https://www.worldelitesoccer.com There is 0 queries in my search console data that includes the word 'football'. Stripping Out Referral Spam From Past Reports
Hi, I'm looking to confirm the best approach for retroactively stripping away referral spam (free buttons, SEMalt, etc.). Now to be clear, I already have filters in place to ignore them from current stats, so moving forward I'm fine. However, I'd love to go back and check untainted stats. I've setup segments using a regex to strip the root words away and it seems to be working. I have a regex setup to strip out things like: social-buttons|seoanalyses|copyrightclaims|classifiedads|jobsense|free-share-buttons|e-buyeasy|acrobats.hol|cheap-online|amezon|search-help|qut-smoking and so forth. I've been going through my referral data, noticing obvious spam, and adding their domains to my segment. Is this the optimal way for me to get a clear, untainted view of my past stats?

Queries vs. Organic Keywords in GA
Could someone explain how the following metrics in Google Analytics are being calculated: Search Engine Optimization (Acquisition): clicks on a certain query Campaigns (Acquisition): sessions on a certain keyword GA Help states that both 'queries' and 'organic keywords' refer to the actual string a user enters in Google Search. In that cases it seems that 'clicks' on a SERP result through a given query and 'sessions' through that very same query could not be miles apart. E.g.: Clicks through query X = 170 Sessions through organic keyword X = 8 Thank you for helping me out!

Why doesn't Google seem to care about referral spam?
In researching the issue of referral spam, there is no shortage if info, both on MOZ and beyond. But, neither the Google Analytics Blog or Help Forums seem to mention the issue at all. I'd think it is something that they would want to get rid of, yet it seems like they don't even acknowledge that it exists. Anyone have insights into this? Am I missing something, or is Google strangely silent on an issue that is becoming more and more annoying for anyone trying to use GA data?

Why do I get lots of traffic from a bizarre keyword?
Bit of an odd one but I've been getting a large and steady stream of traffic over the last few months from a very random keyword that according to addwords figures shows "on data". Its our second biggest referring term only beaten by our brand name. We get more traffic from this term than keywords we have invested a lot of time in that show thousands of traffic volume in addwords. When looking at behavioral data its gets odder, a bounce rate of 98.11% time on site 2 seconds and page visits 1.02. So this traffic isn't real traffic and it's not real people. So my questions are, what is it? why do we get this random traffic, has anyone els noticed things like this and is it a problem? I presume it must be something to do with some sort of spam but apart from that i'm stumped. It's just one of those things that has been bugging me so I would appreciate any help. Kind Regards Paul
