JSON-ld markup in Wordpress post
-
Hello,
I updated a blog post with JSON-ld Schema Markup (ItemList): http://www.acmetools.com/blog/11-best-cordless-circular-saws-2017/
It is currently not being recognized within Moz's toolbar, but if you view the structured data testing tool, you will see it is there and has no errors?
1. Does that mean I have an error within my header pertaining to JSON-ld markup?
I can also see all the markup in the structured data testing tool. Right after the closed script of the markup I have this message:
2. Is that an issue to have all my markup, then it says START --> then END -->? Should my markup be between them?

Great to hear, thanks Martijn.

Hi Alex,
This seems to work flawless, probably Moz can't recognize or hasn't crawled the page since you've added this. As far as I can see in the Structured Data Testing Tool the data is correct and your Schema.org is valid.
Martijn.

AggregateRating JSON-LD help needed
Hey all, Working with gydeandseek.com and trying to get 5-star reviews to show up at a SERP Feature on some of their pages. Everything validates using the Structured Data Testing Tool, yet we are not seeing anything in search. We have had this SERP Feature show up in the past. Here is a sample page - https://gydeandseek.com/budapest/gabriella Hoping the greater consciousness (aka you) can help us figure out what we are doing wrong here. Or if it is just Google deciding not to display the aggregateRatings in search. Other clients who use this markup have it show up pretty quickly, trying to figure out why it isn't here and generally stumped. Thanks, Tim

Aggregate Rating Markup for Local Restaurant
Hello Moz Community, I am finally getting around to creating markup for a bunch of the sites we work with using JSON-LD. I have a question specifically regarding adding review markup for a local restaurant. It's my understanding that putting the aggregate rating on the homepage never results in stars being shown in the SERP's. So what would be the best practice for taking advantage of all the great Google reviews we've accumulated over the years? These are reviews for the restaurant in general and not for any specific service or product. Should I create a reviews page on the site and use the markup there? Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Schema Markup - Star Ratings
I'm trying to get the star ratings to appear next to our client's website in google search results. Here is the url:https://cstoneroof.com/ I believe I have it setup correctly but am unsure why the stars don't appear: structure data test here I pulled the rating value and count from Facebook. Not sure if it has to be Google reviews or if FB will work as well. Anybody have any thoughts here?

If I use schema markup for my google reviews, would it be smart to have Google review's on my home page?
Hello, Moz's I'm thinking about added scheme markup to show my google reviews. I have a 4.8 rating and 25 reviews. I'm thinking about added scheme markup to show my google reviews. I have a 4.8 rating and 25 reviews. My first question is: when people see that and then visit my site, would it be good to have the Google reviews on the home page? My second questions is: Is there any reason why I wouldn't want to add this to my site? None of my competition has done this, so I'm a little apprehensive? Thanks in advance 🙂

Schema Markup Ratings Not Showing Up in SERPs
Hello, I started using the Rich Reviews plugin for WordPress to display ratings and reviews starting on May 27th, but the ratings are not showing up in SERPs yet. Does anyone know why this might be? The link to the website is below. And when I run it through the Structured Data Testing Tool there are no errors. holtscarpetcleaning.com https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/?url#url=http%3A%2F%2Fholtscarpetcleaning.com%2F Thanks, Jennifer

Will adding schema markup to copied Google reviews show up in organic search?
Google no longer favors my client's industry with Google reviews in local Snack Pack results, but a national competitor has markup for site-based reviews that are showing up in organic results, which is a big, shiny, advantage. Rather than have to solicit reviews in two places (Google and the site), I'm wondering if it would be possible/advisable to copy and paste the Google reviews into the site and mark them up there, in an attempt to get Google to feature the rating in the organic SERP result? I don't know if this would work though, since I'm guessing part of the reason that Google accepts the competitor reviews is because they are verified purchases, which wouldn't be possible just cutting and pasting. But is it worth a try? It's too bad though, Google is effectively only showing handpicked, "national" reviews, which does local customers a disservice. Thank you!

SCHEMA Review Markup Check & Questions
Hi, I have a few questions about our SCHEMA for user-submitted business reviews. Here's what I have so far: User Review Reviewer Name Business Name
Reviews and Ratings | | kirmeliux
05/14/2014 5 1. Am I missing anything? 2. Is the itemReviewed tag necessary? 3. If a category/results page has multiple businesses listed and shows their ratings, is marking the businesses up as you would on their individual page okay? What about the ratings? I have a feeling marking the ratings would confuse Google, but the businesses themselves (NAP) should be alright, correct? 4. General Q: Is it alright to have multiple reviewBody tags within one review? For instance, if the review is split into 2 parts and additional code/content is between them that isn't part of the review, can we just add multiple reviewBody tags within the same main div tag? Thanks!0 -
Re Posting Reviews
I would like to re post a couple short client reviews on the home page of my site. The reviews are from avvo.com. What is the best way to accomplish this without getting flagged for duplicate content? Should I make an image containing the review text and then link it to the original review on avvo?
