Facebook won't spend my ad budget. Any recommendations?

What do you do when Facebook won't spend your ad budget, no matter what you do or how high you bid?
We've tested a large audience (2.2 million reach) under a single ad set versus many smaller ad sets with tighter targeting (50-150k reach).
We've tested auto bidding versus manual bidding with bids as high as 1000% higher than Facebook's recommended bid.
We've tested many versions of creative with and without text overlay and our relevance scores are high. Nothing seems to work. Our Facebook rep and Facebook technical support keep recommending to stay with one ad set and one ad, but that's not spending either. Most days we are getting less than 20% budget utilization.
Has anyone experienced this situation before? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hi there Bryce, what an unusual problem to have, Facebook is normally all too happy to take our money!
So I don't know all of the details, forgive me if I'm off the mark here, but is the budget incredibly high? Is it daily or lifetime? And what action are you being charged for? Is it cost-per-impression? Otherwise (no offence meant) could it be that the audience aren't being swayed to action by your creative?
I know there is a way of capping frequency on Facebook ads, if it is CPM, there's no way you have that switched on is there? Is it possible that some aspect of your advert is causing Facebook to limit reach (text-heavy image or low quality score for example)? Also, how long have you left each of these tests running?
Apologies if this is all retreading old ground, I would expect the rep to come up with a lot of these, but got to go through the old off-and-on-again routine with these things first.

How do I remove 11,000 spam facebook page likes received overnight complete with negative ratings/reviews?
My page has 11,000 spammed page likes. Only 250 are legitimate. These spammers are leaving 1 star ratings. Facebook is limiting the number of likes I can delete. I can report some fake ratings as spam but, again, facebook is limiting what I see. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Update: I found a work around for the negative ratings/reviews. I can change the category of my page to "other community" to remove the rating system from the page https://www.facebook.com/changeratings/posts/445471405558046. That still leaves me with 11,000 illegitimate likes that are stealing away from my 250 legitimate fans from seeing our posts. Should I start over?

Facebook Business Pages Cannot Be Opened If You Allready Have an account
Buon pormeriggio from 24 degrees C slightly cloudy Wetherby UK 🙂 I want to open a facebook business page for a client but i understand it has to be attached to my personal facebook account. This is a pain, one day I'll leave the digital game which then presents a problem for the next administrator, I mean i can hardly pass arounf my facebook user name & pasword. Then to add to the conundrum i hear the fix is to regioster a business account sound good so far but then you cant do this if you have a personal account... err WTF! So my question is what do socail media agencies do when they open facebook business pages, surely they are not ties to personal accounts? Any insights welcome,

Friends who like same Facebook page not showing correctly
I have a strange thing going on with my Facebook pages. The "friends who also like this page" is showing wrong numbers, just 1 respectively 5. In reality this number must be much higher. When I saw a profile of someone who coincidentally liked both pages, the numbers of friends who also liked those pages said 30 respectively 48. I remembered that a while ago I changed categories of at least one of those pages. So now I just checked that theory and changed the category of one of those pages back: The 1 went up to 26. When going back to the category I have right now, it's back to 1. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this, kind of merge those numbers?

Facebook Like Button or Like Box
Hi, A client has a FB like button on their website but is frustrated that those "likes" are disconnected from their company FB page. It is possible that they could change their website like button, to a like box, which will then mean people are liking their FB page and give them a greater opportunity for on-going engagement through FB. However, from an SEO perspective is it better for them to attract likes & potential sharing of their website content rather than their FB content? Thanks.

Does promoting a new page on twitter/facebook help it get indexed faster?
I know this probably won't matter much to people who get crawled on a regular basis, but for those of us who don't, does promoting a new page on social media help it get indexed faster with google? My site rarely gets crawled, but I've recently been adding new content. When I add new content I started to promote it on facebook/twitter and I do get minimal traffic from it. I noticed that a couple of the pages seem to be indexing quicker than pages normally do for me, although I'm not sure if it's because I recently migrated to WP or what..? I know T/FB are no follow sites, but is there a chance that promoting a page may contribute to the pages getting indexed? Thanks for any insight you can shed on the matter. It's more for curiosities sake than anything else. Pete S.

I'm having a problem implementing facebook sharing
Hi. Hopefully someone can help me out here. I have created a quiz on one of my sites that hopefully will be good linkbait. But I'm having some issues with figuring out how to best get users to share this on facebook. The quiz consists of two pages. The first contains each of the questions. I use jquery to hide and show each question. Then, the second is the results page. The results page has a dynamically generated title and shows a sharable badge depicting their results. So, for one user the results page may say, "I scored 100% on ABC Quiz!" and show a 100% badge. Another user may see, "Apparently I know nothing about ABC! I scored 16% on the quiz!". (Just examples, of course.) If I use the facebook share button, the url that gets shared is the results page and obviously I don't want knew users ending up on the results page. I tried using a rel canonical on the results page (pointing to the original page) but then the dynamic title doesn't get shared. Can anyone help?

What's more important? Facebook fans, or likes?
Until now, I've been focusing on getting Facebook likes for my site, and amassed quite a lot. However it felt like I was missing an opportunity by not connecting directly to my audience. So I created a Facebook page which my site visitors can like. But this means having to promote two different things: a "facebook like" for my site, and a "facebook like" for my facebook page, which seems silly. So, I was wondering if: there is a way to combine the likes of my site to the likes of my FB page? Or a way for a visitor to like both through a single click? what's more important to Google: FB-likes to your site, or to your FB-page? Thank you!
