Where to promote a blog post?
-
I want to promote a blog post with the littlest invested time. It's not something I need to get ranked high. Just wondering what is the most efficient method or service to broadcast it out there with at least some chance of driving some traffic (other than "just let Google index it")

Hi,
I'd use social media - Twitter, Facebook. If you have good images you could also use Instagram and in the accompanying text say that there's a post about it over on your site.
I'd look at what others have done by searching the keywords on that social media platform and seeing what comes up. if they used a good hook or hashtag then use that in your post too.
You could post a few times on your chosen platforms with different text each time and see what works best - don't overdo the posting though as people will get annoyed.
If your topic ties in with something upcoming eg a national awareness day or big event, make sure you post during that period and use the relevant hashtags (which you can usually research before).

Hi - I would try to think of it in terms of who is your favorite blog reader. Take a piece of paper and draw out who that is. Then you want to think about "Where do they hang out on the Internet.
If you know who you want to attract, and where they are then half the battle is over. Now you need your "Bait". Your "Bait" is what is actually going to get them to click a link and goto the Blog. Figure out something that you can give your target market for free. It could be an article you wrote. A free infographic with information that has value to them or really anything they feel has value.
Remember your "Hook" is your "Bait".

Social media is the best avenue that creates the best of all awareness one wishes to have.Being new to SEO and tasked to https://theessaypro.com/euthanasia-essays/, I started with social media. I have invested little time on articles and infographics which I can say am getting the best results possible.

What's a good way to find recent blog posts about a given topic?
Let's say I want to find blog posts posted in the past week or so about "key west". These posts could be on a personal blog, travel blog, etc. Google News is mostly news sites (not blogs) and Google blog search doesn't work any more. What other good options are there? So far Open site Explorer Just Discovered is the best option I've found, but there is a lot of other stuff mixed in with a few blog posts.

Would it be smart to have 2 different blogs on our site?
I run Wick Video - where we make animated videos for businesses. We are toying around with making blog/video content geared toward marketers, _and _creating blogs/tutorials geared toward designers and animators. Since it's two totally different groups, we've had the idea of making two separate blogs. Is that a good idea? Any websites currently doing this well?

2 months ago, I publish a NEW blog, http://www.mervrating.org The blog has only 3 posts. I don't have much time to work on it. Does it HURT my SEO? Can I start working on it on regular basis and try to built authority or does it looks "dead" to search engine? I would like to bring it alive and give it a second chance, will it be hard if it has no content since the beginning? What is your opinions? Thank you, BigBlaze

Can I share share my content with other sites either as a individual post or RSS or will I be encourage duplicate content on the web and upset Google
Hi, I have a new site http://www.homeforbusiness.co.uk. I want to encourage traffic to the site by sharing some of my content with other related websites which have a higher PR ranking and traffic for a link to my site. Is this going to upset Google re-duplicate content and devalue my site and stop any organic rankings in the future? Equally some high PR sites which have a good synergy with mine such as http://thewomensbusinessclubs.com/ allow me to add my RSS feed with their blog network. Is this a good thing to do or not for the same reasons as above? Or can I only do the above my creating fresh content? Thanks, Elizabeth Conley

WordPress Guest Post Admin Access?
Is there a plugin or function in WordPress for a guest poster to just get admin access to control comments? Example: Big Brand X writes a guest post on www.yoursite.com. Big Brand X wants admin access to approve or delete comments on their guest on www.yoursite.com. Big Brand X doesn't want access to edit their guest post or any other post on www.yoursite.com, they just want admin access to manage the comments on their guest post. Is this possible? Thanks for the help!
