No existing network with bloggers

Hi
I have worked on various different sites as an SEO, I have found that currently I don't have a list of influential bloggers/sites to contact in the niche I'm in. Where do I start?
Do I work on building this list or do I create the some content first, so I can propose a collaboration?
I know how long these relationships can take, so I don't want to hold up on producing content
Thank you

Lots of methods to how you reach out to them, but sounds like prospecting and finding them in the first place is the bigger issue.
For prospecting, go start by looking for lists of blogs, eg "top gardening bloggers". Also look for non-bloggers, eg "top gardening instagram accounts". Google obvious content, eg if you're looking for fitness blogs, search "best upper body workouts" or "post workout protein options" and you'll find sites that might not show up for "top fitness bloggers".
Gather them all up in a spreadsheet. Find contact info. Interact on social. Email and introduce yourself. See if you can offer a guest post with some actual highly relevant titles that they'd be interested in. It helps to already have some decent content you have produced to lend you more credibility with them, eg "here's a few past things I've published on similar topics."
Consider expanding the process with tools like LinkProspector, Buzzstream, Pitchbox, Just Reach Out (this one seems to have good training wheels for people new to outreach) - that can help you scale up the number of sites you can find and contact. But it helps to use them once you have done the process a couple times.
As you mentioned, will take awhile when you don't know the niche. But you can learn the space pretty quickly

We have found that visitors who arrive at our site through search are over 10x more valuable than visitors who arrive from social media. So, if we have content, we post it on our site, optimize it to pull traffic from search, and promote it to all of our visitors by posting links to it in many relevant locations.
Getting a shout out through social media might produce a one-time spike in traffic when the content is new, but an article on the website will pull traffic from search for years and years. That traffic from search will be more valuable.
By keeping all of your content resources on your own site, will enable your content library to grow faster and larger. And, if you have done a good job on that content your visitors will see it and share it on social media for you. Again, this is not a one-time blast, but a slower but steadier stream of sharing that will last for years and years.
Also, when you share your content through influencers, they will become your competitors in search, they can use it to drive affiliate salesl And, there will be a lot of opportunists watching the influencer, and some of them will grab your content, mash it up, rewrite it, and you will have instant competitors for your valuable ideas in search and linking to Amazon.
The approach described above has the best opportunity of working if you can produce highese quality content. If you can't do that, then it doesn't matter what approach you decide to use.

Hi
How would you go about sharing this content? Do you have a social media presence?
-
I would create best-on-the-web content and place it on my own site.
-
Brace yourself for another clunky guide from mr.
I prefer to start with outreach and write content after we've reached an agreement.
Here's what I do:
- Get a list of relevant keywords
- Repeat the "creating links to search queries in Notepad ++" from my previous answer to one of your questions
- Only this time instead of simply creating queries like google.com.ua/search?q=best+cars you need to add an inurl:blog operator, so your links will look like **google.com.ua/search?q=best+cars+inurl%3Ablog **this link will provide you with list of blogs that have content about "best cars"
- Generate such links for all of your keywords (again, see previous question and answer)
- Crawl the SERPs with Netpeak Spider or Screaming Frog to fetch domain addresses
- Once you have your domains you need to get thei emails, you can use tools like hunter.io or any other email harvester or search for those manually
- you can also crawl these websites with spider or frog and search for the following regular expression: **[a-zA-Z0-9][a-zA-Z0-9.+-]+@[\w-.]+.\w+ ** this search will find any text on a website that looks like **something@something.tld **
- Netpeak checker (not spider) has a preset setting to fetch email addresses: https://i.imgur.com/BzhzjHD.png but it crawl only URLs you upload, not entire website, so you'll have to get the list of at least 100 pages for every website on your list and then fetch email from those URLs. You can set spider or frog to get you list of top-100 ursl for websites you found.
- You need to create personalized and automated emails that you will send to these websites. I recommend using **Reply.io **this is my favorite email marketing tool, period. It allows you to send out a chain of personalized emails (Hi [name] I was reading [website] blog. And thought you might want to check out [Thing]) to all of your prospects, and gives you all sorts of valuable analytics data so you can improve your campaigns. I usually create chains of 3 emails and prospecst receive one of these every 2-3 days. So if they ignored my 1st email they'll receive second one in 3 days, if they ignore that one they'll get another email in 2 days and if they ignore the last email that's it. But oper-rates and reply reats on campaigns I've ran were outstanding. With 3-letter chains on 200 prospects per campaign we're getting 70% open rate and up to 30% reply rate.
- Once you get in touch with bloggers it's up to you to close the deal.
Don't hesitate to contact support of netpeak software, frog, hunter io, reply io and others for help. it always works.

B2B Blogger Outreach
Hi I'm working on an SEO campaign in relation to vacuum cleaners. I'm working on some outreach and as we focus on B2B I'm finding it difficult to find blogs which are B2B focused. We would ideally want customers who are buying a number of vacuums for their business - but it could be any industry. Instead of B2B blogs, I have gone with the angle of cleaning/organising blogs, with lots of followers on social. However, does anyone know of any good B2B blogs they could recommend? I'm looking for something written by facilities/buildings managers - if blogs like this exist 🙂 Thank you

Subfolder marketing issue - buying a new domain and 301 to subfolder on existing domain
Hello, I have a specific question and I'll try to be as precise as possible. I have a well ranked domain with good PA. When we were starting our new service I found out that for SEO purposes it would be best to put it under subfolder instead of subdomain or new domain all together because of PA that our domain has. Now, that went pretty well and our new service started appearing in SERPs and is improving rapidly since our link builing strategies were quite sucessful. But there is a problem - we can't advertise our service with a link like this - www.domain.com/subfolder. It's just really messy. And I was wondering if we buy a new domain and 301 redirect it to our subfolder what impacts will that have? If people start linking us as www.newdomain.com will it pass all the juice to www.domain.com/subfolder? Marketing wise I see a lot of benefits using newdomain but I'm afraid it can have SEO downsides and I'm asking for your help to clarify these. Thank you in advance, Best regards, Ivan

Two companies merging into a new website. How to merge two existing websites into a brand new website and preserve search rankings.
Brand A and Brand B are merging to form Brand C. Brand A has a great search presence (prominent rankings, answer boxes, and impressive organic traffic). Brand B has a good reputation in real life but their web presence was extremely weak (we've been helping with that over the past few months and it is improving). What are the steps we need to take? The previous domains from Brand A and Brand B are going away and we need to promote the newly minted Brand C website. This Q/A summarizes what we want to do but with one exception: They only discuss merging Brand A into BRand B and there is no Brand C.

Linking new domain to existing domain or....
We have a client's domain that has been live for 8 years. truthbook.com. With the new changes to Google, no matter what we do, we cannot get the words Urantia Book to connect with the website and lift it's search engine returns to the first page where it was for the past 4 years.. It is clear, that no matter what Google may say, the most important factor is having the actual words urantiabook in the domain is imperative. We know it was that way before Google changes (they were always on the first page) but now the client cannot get back on the front page. The mission and theme of the site is Jesus in The Urantia Book. So it is not a stretch to acquire urantiabookandjesus.com and forward it to truthbook.com The question is, "will they get any bang for the change? If they considered changing the actual main domain to urantiabookandjesus.com or .org and forward truthbook.com to it, will they be hurt by that strategy? " Thanks, Jim

Best way to structure a new company blog with multiple existing individual country sites?
Hi, we have a client who have multiple business websites .co.nz, .com.au, .co.uk, .com which all have unique content intending to rank in each country. These sites are on a CMS that has a blog function capability. Should we set up the blog on one of these country sites then link to other sites when appropriate? OR Is it best to set up a new blog on something like Wordpress (or what?) that takes all blog posts from all countries and then links out to the relevant sites when appropriate. So the new blog becomes the content hub and creates its own Google power to then pass when appropriate to the various country sites? Any suggestions welcome especially from people who are currently doing either of these methods, and have experienced the results both positive and negative of the different approaches. NB: there will be about 20 staff creating a blog post on a topic relevant to them per month each once blog is live.

How to Merge Existing Google Local and Google Business pages?
Hey everyone, I'm getting a wee bit frustrated. I have looked at every blog post I can about merging Google Local and Google Business Pages and I can't figure it out. I already have a verified Google Local page here https://plus.google.com/107404063103285095864/about?gl=CA&hl=en-CA and a Google Business Page here https://plus.google.com/b/100116630212547145177/100116630212547145177/posts . Both are already verified. How do I merge these existing profiles which are already verified?

Do non-spammy authoritative press release sites exist?
Hi there, To help get news out about our business and increase brand awareness, I am considering doing the occasional press release. However doing research on new SEO client backlinks there seem to be a lot of poor quality, spammy press release sites. So I would appreciate some opinions on decent sites please. Obviously we wouldn't be 'article marketing' so only new unique posts would be put out there and not in duplicates either - so one press release to one site etc. Also just curious as to whether this still works for SEO? But this is a secondary concern, because the activity would be for brand awareness - so avoiding rubbish sites will save us time, effort and potential damage. Thanks in advance!
