Dear, previously my site got top rank results (first place in first page) for
1. "Vastu" (Landing page: https://www.subhavaastu.com/vastu.html)
2. "Vaastu" (Landing page: https://www.subhavaastu.com/vaastu.html)
3. "Vastu shastra" (Landing page: https://www.subhavaastu.com/about-vastu-shastra.html).
4. "Vastu Consultant", (Landing page: https://www.subhavaastu.com)
Previously say about 4/5 years back, I got only 1/2 place in google for the above keywords. Now my site is not visible for the said above keywords.
But for these below keywords I am getting very good rankings
5. "Vasthu" (Landing page: https://www.subhavaastu.com/vasthu.html) (3 rd position in first page)
6. "Vaasthu" (Landing page: https://www.subhavaastu.com/vaasthu.html) (2nd position in first page) I got good improvements with my attemps.
Require to get again first page first rank for these keywords. Vastu, Vaastu, Vastu shastra, vastu consultant.
Anybody can help please.

I just got done reading the discussion between Brian Dean and Gianluca Fiorelli in reference to the "200 Google Ranking Factors" slightly throwing me for a loop on my thoughts for this. If we went by Brian, AKA Backlinko's methodology of site level factors theres kind of a mechanism behind the URL Extensions usage, and the actual domain name/subdomain.
Assuming that Brian's factors are close to Googles actual algorithm and we take it to be accurate, the trump card is an exact match domain.
second to that is when the site contains keywords in the beginning of name but not the entire phrase and then next is keywords anywhere in domain. Then Sub Domains, and lastly url extensions.
for your 2nd url, I wouldn't use the url extension you selected because it's in the domain name.
I kind of had a similar link structure on my first drop shipping store and I kept using "Burlesque" for every single thing, and I don't think it gave me an edge.
One of my best structured sites was an adult affiliate domain and I basically took 1 thing that was pretty much just 1 single genre and just completely dissected it into hair color, eye color, nationality, wardrobe, celebrities on and on and on.
Basically what I'm eluding to is that im not knowledgable in this particular vastu buildings, but you certainly are. Perhaps the way to structure it would be based upon different sub types, maybe even the historians that developed and found their variances, like.. Silpa Prakasa? Because then you'd have more keywords and an exansion of relevance in your content increasing the odds of longtails.
As far as clarity and simplifying the obstacle at hand which is to get in the top ranks of the key term I think perhaps something innovative and unique implemented into your content would add some new flavor and obtain the audiences reactions necessary to boost you back into the game.
- Videos
- Infographs
- Images with superiorly optimized dimensions and metrics that include captions
I think those would be game breaking! Where it stands your domain's DA matches the difficulty of the key term. So I theorize adding some amazing to the content would be the game changer needed! You see "Stealing Backlinks my little baby blog couldn't possibly make board against neil patel and brian dean in the race. But image number 4 was number 1 for like a month. Google has some amazing dynamic to it's algorithm and if you produce high grade stuff, it knows!

Wow, I didn't realize how cut throat of a competition a keyword that I've never heard of until just right now potentially can be hehe. Your site is solid , it's ranked I noticed a couple improvements that could starting with the title:
Vastu for House - Gruha Vastu - SubhaVaastu.com
Your h1 is this:
Vastu for House | Gruha Vastu | SubhaVaastu.com
The first sentence in the article:
Vastu for House | Gruha Vastu | SubhaVaastu.com
That becomes a 3 fold repetition, plus it isn't grammatically to form sentences and utilize those line separators like that with content visitors are going to read hehe. So with your title, possibly try "Vastu" isolate in one of those 3 keywords your separating just entirely by itself to declare it as a keyword.
Then use like:
"Modern Homes with Vastu and Gruha Vastu." for an h1.
Just as long as you're mixing it up.
The first sentence just include the target keyword and bust out with a transition word off the rip as well.
Also your entire 7000 somethings word article has no headers aside the first h1 (I didn't scroll to the very bottom). You need headers every 300 words max or that can impact in some way.
Hope that helps!

Lots that we know about has changed in the past 4-5 years as far as google and seo. Many other factors that we don't know about your site and your competition may have changed, as well.
Do you know if you've lost any backlinks? Have you changed any content? Have the pages been re optimized in the meantime or has it just been sitting there? Few, if any sites can last 4 to 5 years without being re-optimized.

Can't generate a sitemap with all my pages
I am trying to generate a site map for my site nationalcurrencyvalues.com but all the tools I have tried don't get all my 70000 html pages... I have found that the one at check-domains.com crawls all my pages but when it writes the xml file most of them are gone... seemingly randomly. I have used this same site before and it worked without a problem. Can anyone help me understand why this is or point me to a utility that will map all of the pages? Kindly, Greg

Country specific results
Our country specific pages reside as a subfolder under the main domain. So for example in US it's /us/, in Canada it's /ca/. What we've noticed is that Google Canada is showing US pages in some of the search results. Does anyone have experience with how to direct Google to display country specific page results?

Can't get page moving!
Hi all. I've been working on a page for months now and can't seem to make any progress. I'm trying to get http://www.alwayshobbies.com/dolls-houses on the first page for term 'dolls houses'. I've done the following: Cleaned up the site's overall backlink profile Built some new links to the page Added 800 words of new copy Reduced the number of keyword instances on the page below 15 Any advice would be much appreciated. I don't think it's down to links as the DA/PA isn't wildly different from its competitors. Thanks!

To index search results or not?
In its webmaster guidelines, Google says not to index search results " that don't add much value for users coming from search engines." I've noticed several big brands index search results, and am wondering if it is generally OK to index search results with high engagement metrics (high PVPV, time on site, etc). We have an database of content, and it seems one of the best ways to get this content in search engines would be to allow indexing of search results (to capture the long tail) rather than build thousands of static URLs. Have any smaller brands had success with allowing indexing of search results? Any best practices or recommendations?

Home page sudden drop in rank, but not others.
Over the weekend, I noticed "www.thematstore.com" drop out of the search results for "chair mats", where previously it was between 10-12 ranked. The other pages on the domain have remained the same in regards to rankings for their intended keywords. The only thing I changed (on Nov 29th) is the title tag from "Chair Mats - Commercial Quality Chair Mats, Custom Made", to "Chair Mats - Best Custom Chair Mats, Commercial Quality". I know there is a lot that needs to be done on the site, and the site architecture is a bit of a mess (I recommended building a new site)... but I was hoping to gradually fix these issues without gambling with a rank drop. Not sure why the home page all of the sudden dropped out, any suggestions?
