How can keyword explorer help me search on a more local level?
-
I am a total novice at this. I am taking the tutorial and the first thing she addresses is Keyword Explorer. It makes sense to me, but what doesn't is that it asks me to look for keywords in USA. I need to explore keywords on a local level. Anyone out there who can help me with this? am I over my head with Moz Pro if I am a complete novice?

Grettelp,
You can sometimes have more success getting ideas for local keyword phrases using the free Google Keyword Planner tool. It allows you to specify a geography you're interested in - city, municipality, county, township, state, province, country.
Google Keyword Planner does not give specific volumes (they give rounded figures for groups of related keywords), but you'll at least get an idea of what people are searching for and can test it.
You can also see a sampling of the phrases people are using to find your content by looking at search queries in Google Search Console, also free.

Thanks for the question!
At this time, Keyword Explorer only supports national-level keyword data. Sorry about that! Right now the only real way to hone in on more local data would be to geo-modify the keyword phrase. That is, to enter something like "car dealership sacramento" versus simply "car dealership".
If you're looking to get rankings information for locally tracked keywords, you can do so in your Moz Pro campaign. Check out our guide here on how to add those to your campaign: https://moz.com/help/guides/moz-pro-overview/rankings/add-and-manage-keywords/local-keywords

Can I view Domain Authority stats for longer than the previous 12 months?
When you view the DA chart, it goes back 12 months. There is no apparent way to see any data before that. I searched the Q&A but see no other similar questions. Any insight?

Moz Pro for simple local seo status reporting
I have a new client on a small budget with a local yoga studio. There's been no SEO work on this site so far, so, after the basics, I plan to work through the items on this list: https://moz.com/blog/top-20-local-search-ranking-factors-an-illustrated-guide I'm a new Moz Pro user and am looking for advice on how to use Moz Pro tools with my client to review progress over time...a simple checklist of reports/metrics to share and track, and to use in weekly status reports. Or, in other words, how can I configure and use Moz Pro tools for basic progress tracking? This is not a sophisticated, SEO-savvy client, so I want to keep things very simple. Thanks for any ideas or pointers. Dave

Campaign Keywords Vs. Rank Tracker
Hi Mozzers, Was just wondering what the difference between the two tools are, and why they have independent keyword limits? Thanks, Nick P.S Apologies if this has been asked before or if I've missed some documentation, I had a quick search but couldn't find a similar question!

Why can't I add more than one campaign in my trial version of MOZ?
Hi, I'm on the 30 day trial and I can only run one campaign right now. I thought I could add in 5 campaigns. When I go into Manage Campaigns the 'add a campaign' button is light blue and I can't click it. Is this just because I'm on the trial? Or should I be able to add 4 more campaigns?

I am having trouble using tools. Please help.
Hi, I have been using Moz tools like keyword, site explorere. And the results have all these big words in the column that confuse me. In other words, I don't know how to translate the results and understand what the results mean. Is there an easy guide on how to use the tools. Also, once I understand the results, Is there a way to come up with rough estimate on what it takes to rank my site for certain keywords. Is there a step by step or easy guide to become productive after using those tools? I have been through introductory videos and read some material like beginning SEO etc. But having hard time using the tool? Is it just me and every one is blazing with Moz tool?

Keyword Research
I am coming from SERPIQ and Raventools and they both seem to have something that Moz Analytics does not have. I can type in a keyword in either of them and it will deliver up relevant keywords and the search volume for them. Also I can enter a url and get all the keywords that a page is ranking for. Are these just things that are missing from Moz Analytics or am I missing something? They are both really important features to me.
