Best practice SEO/SEM/Analaytics/Social reports

Hi All,
does anyone have a best practice excel spreadsheet of a internal report we should be using....
ie what are the main factors we should be tracking?
Unqiue views?
time spent on site?
Where they came from? seo/sem/network/direct to site?
social media tracking? amount of +1/fb likes/tweets etc

When doing reporting, I know we like to include engagement metrics such as goal conversions, pageviews, pages / session, time on site, bounce rate and goal conversion rate. I would also recommend including a break down of different sources referring traffic to your website such as organic, direct, social and referral.
For SEO purposes, I would segment the traffic by 'organic' traffic in whatever analytics tool you use and report on the top landing pages you optimized for. I would include metrics such as page views, and other engagement metrics like goal conversions, time on page, bounce rate etc.
When it comes to social media it's a little trickier I would recommend reporting on followers and other engagement metrics depending on the social platform. For example, on Facebook you could report on 'shares' and 'likes'. I would also highly recommend tagging any link you include in any social media post so you can better track traffic coming back to your website. Also, I would report on sessions on your website that directly come as a result of social media and you could include a breakdown of the specific social channels.
Unfortunately, I can't give you an excel spreadsheet of an internal report but that should be enough to help get you started.

Whats the best way to move 30% of our content behind a paywall and still get indexed without penalties and without letting people see our content before they subscribe.
Hi all - We want to create a membership program so that they can get more great stuff from us and offers, deals, etc. but only if they qualify to be a member via a purchase for example. The question is we want to move only some of our content (c.30%) behind the membership curtain - will be a mix of SEO value content. If i tell google bot to index but not allow Google and other sites to see the membership content will that create a penalty? Is that considered a form of cloaking? Longterm wordpress blog not providing seo benefit to main site - help needed please
Hi I have a bigcommerce ecommerce store, with a Wordpress blog on a subdomain. The store and blog have been active for four years, the blog is regularly updated with original content, has many links to the store, is promoted regularly via my brand's social media channels and mailing list, and has the simplest SEO basics covered via a Yoast SEO plugin. But the store sees very little, if any, SEO benefit from the blog. My question is: based on this information, and the details below, is there an issue with the connection between the blog and main site in SEO terms? And if there is, how can I start fixing it? Further info: 1 In my Moz dashboard for the store site, the blog does not show at all as providing any inbound links or linking domains 2 Google Analytics also shows zero referral traffic to the store site from the blog since April 2015 3 Moz crawl issues is flagging ‘duplicate page content issues’ for pretty much every page of the blog, and the analysis provided suggests this may be related to tags but I have only basic SEO knowledge and am fast getting out of my depth here. 4 I have today altered the settings within the Yoast plugin on the blog to ‘noindex’ for Tags, Meta Robots, based on advice I have found in this section but am already well over my head and unsure even this is correct. An agency have been running SEO for the store since 2012 but since uncovering how little they have done in this time for the money paid, I am now taking matters back into my own hands. However I am on a very steep learning curve and this one is beyond me right now - please does anyone have any suggestions where I can start looking to uncover the root issue? Any guidance or advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks very much and hope to hear from someone!

Track subdomains in the same analytics property/view
Hello to everyone, this is my first question (kind of a newbie here :-D). I have a website that spans over 4 subdomains + the main domain and I'd like to have a place where I can see the total page views, events and goal completions. Main domain is langhe.net, and subdomains are eventi.langhe.net, servizi.langhe.net, shop.langhe.net, about.langhe.net. The website is based on wordpress and I'm using google analytics for wordpress by yoast as analytics plugin. The configuration of the plugin is as follows: all the website have the same UA-XXXXXXXX code The Subdomain Traking field (setDomainName) is filled with .langhe.net Cross-Domain tracking is enabled Cross-Domain Primary Domain (setDomainName) is langhe.net Cross-Domain Tracking, Other Domains field is filled with: about.langhe.net, eventi.langhe.net, servizi.langhe.net, shop.langhe.net. In the GA property I've created an Advanced Custom Filter configured this way: Field A -> Extract A = hostname (.*) Field B -> Extract B = request URI (.*) Output To -> Constructor = request URI $A1$B1 Field A Required: yes Field B Required: No Override Output Field: yes Case Sensitive: no I was wondering it this is the best way of doing it, or if there are other "best practice" ways to obtain what I'm looking for (for example with this configuration it's become quite difficult to separate the traffic sources for each website). Can you use Google tag manager to manage rich snippets/schema mark up?
Hi,Does anyone know if you can use the new Google tag manager to manage rich snippets? I've seen that there is an HTML section where you can edit HTML that isn't shown on the site - do you think this field could be used to add schema data?Thanks,Karen

Panda 3.8 and Google query report
Today I was plugging the SEOMoz Google change log into my analytics and noticed that our site took an impression jump (30%) on the day Panda 3.8 was released but also, if I'm reading the chart right, a drop in keyword avg. ranking. What's the best way to track moble traffic / sales from a subdomain in Google Analytics?
Hello, I've been trying to figure out the best way to track traffic and sales for a subdomain mobile site and would appreciate any feedback or guidance. I've set up an advanced segment but have found that I'm not able to source traffic since the segments get disabled when trying to view top content pages. I've also setup an additional sub-profile under the main domain profile in google analytics and have set up an advanced filter using the following guildelines http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/tracking/gaTrackingSite.html In the Profile Settings page, click the Add Filter link. Choose Add New Filter and provide the filter a name. Choose Custom Filter and select Advanced on the Filter type settings. Under Advanced settings: FieldA should be set to Hostname FieldB should be set to Request URI Set the values for both Field A and Field B to (.*), which is an expression that captures all characters. Set the Output To --> Constructor option to Request URI and provide $A1$B1 as the value for that choice. I'm unsure if I've set up the profile / filter correctly, the traffic stats are different than the segment. The mobile profile is also tracking all ecommerce transactions instead of just mobile.
