RSS Feeds and what to do with them?
-
Hi,
Say you have a shop and connected to the shop is a nice blog with tons of great content, articles, tutorials, news, Q&A's and so on.
How would you use the RSS feed of this content to help promote the blog?
I see a lot of SEO's use feedburner but how does feedburner help SEO and exposure?
-
Hi, I suggest feed burner. I've never read anything but I feel like it helps get your links indexed quickly since Google runs it. You can also submit your RSS to various RSS pingers. Also get your RSS set up on your Facebook pages, linkedin profile or other social media sites that have the option to pull in RSS. Good luck.

RSS Feed Scrapping
Hi, I've read that some sites will "borrow" the content of your blog. In order to ensure that Google recognizes the original author, what code should we put into the blog posting? Our blog is for Drupal 7 (?) if that helps. Cheers!

Crawl error vs RSS feed content
Hi, I have a BuddyPress Multisite with sites dedicated to specific RSS feeds. I did this to pull in the content for my users. But they generate a 1000s of SEMOZ errors/warnings for dup content, dup titles, missing metatags. etc. So does keeping the content help my site SEO less than the errors? The content is not under my control so I have no way to relate it to my keywords. Any opinions? I can recreate these RSS sites, so I will probably delete them to see what happens. Larry

Free RSS hosting service?
I have a list of URLs of articles I have written and posted in many different article databases. But many of the URLs are not indexed by Google. How can I get them indexed? I was thinking of putting them into an RSS feed and then pinging that feed. Good idea or bad? If a good idea, can anyone recommend a free RSS hosting site? Thanks.
