How do I add a URL to one of my tracked keywords?
-
In other words, if one of my tracked keywords doesn't currently have a URL associated with it / assigned to it, how do I add a URL to it?
-
To add a URL to your tracked keywords, you can simply navigate to your tracking tool's settings or dashboard. Look for an option to add or edit tracked keywords and input the URL alongside the keyword you're tracking.

Great advices.Thanks!

Adding a URL to one of your tracked keywords typically depends on the specific keyword tracking tool or software you are using. Different tools may have slightly different interfaces and methods for adding URLs to tracked keywords. However, I can provide you with a general outline of the steps you might follow:
best digital marketing agency
Log In: First, log in to your keyword tracking tool or software account. You should have access to your dashboard or keyword tracking settings.Navigate to Keyword Tracking: Find the section or tab within the tool that allows you to manage your tracked keywords. This is typically labeled as "Keyword Tracking," "Keyword Monitoring," or something similar.

Add a New Keyword: If you haven't already added the keyword you want to track, you may need to do that first. Look for an option to "Add New Keyword" or similar. Enter the keyword you want to track.
Social Media Marketing
Add a URL: Once you've added the keyword, you should have the option to associate a specific URL with it. This is where you specify which webpage or website you want to monitor for that keyword.Save or Update: After entering the URL, make sure to save your changes. There may be a "Save" or "Update" button to click.
Confirm: Double-check to ensure that the keyword and URL association has been saved correctly. Some tools may provide a summary or confirmation message.

Monitor and Analyze: Your keyword tracking tool should now start monitoring the specified URL for the keyword you've added. You can check back regularly to see how your keyword is performing in search results for that URL.

Please note that the exact steps and terminology can vary depending on the specific tool you're using. If you're unsure about how to add a URL to a tracked keyword in your particular tool, I recommend checking the tool's documentation or contacting their customer support for specific guidance. -

In the main rankings section of your Campaign, the related URL is automatically populated with the highest ranking URL for that particular keyword- this URL can't be updated as it is pulled directly from the SERP at the time of the data collection.
That being said, if you'd like to see how a particular page is ranking for that keyword, there are a few ways you can see that info. The first would be in the Analyze a Keyword section. Here you can select "keyword performance" from the drop down to see the top 5 ranking URLs for that keyword on your site.
The next would be in Page Optimization. Here you can create a pairing of a keyword and URL from your tracked site and we will show you how well optimized that page is for that keyword along with the rank. The rank will then update weekly and will be able to be seen in your Page Optimization's "track and monitor" tab.
I've got a few guides to help get you started with these tools:

Moz only crawling one page of a campaign, please help
Today I set up a new campaign for a client, however the crawl has only found the home page and is saying that the URL is unavailable. The site is definitely live and the URL is correct. I have set up the campaign 3 times one with the full address (http://www.) one with www. and with just the domain name. All three of these have come page with one page crawled and "unavailable" above the URL. It is picking up the crawl issues on the page and showing domain authority but I don't know why it's not crawling other pages. Prior to setting up the campaign I did a site crawl and Moz found everything then, so I don't know why it isn't now. Please help. Thanks

Canonical url does not seem to be recognised by Moz
Hey guys, forgive me... brand new user of Moz. Moz is telling me I have duplicate url's - a lot of them. Investigating I see that it is classing http://creativedigital.co.nz/artprints/lake-tekapo-church-of-the-good-shepherd?tag=lake as a duplicate of http://creativedigital.co.nz/artprints/lake-tekapo-church-of-the-good-shepherd even though there is a canonical tag in head as follows I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong. Any advice would really be appreciated 🙂 Mike

Keyword Rankings .CSVs Per Timeframe
I want to download and compare Keyword Rankings for the prior 2 periods - which are currently August 31 and September 17. Selecting the timeframes refreshes the data on screen but when I download the .csv files they are the same - both showing the 'SERP Date' of 9/18/2014. I've cross checked the data to confirm and it is the same between the 2 files. Am I doings something wrong and/or is there another way to accomplish this?

Also - when we first set it up, we did not add the www. and our analytics are setup as such so we show no traffic on our dashboard, but it wont let me edit to change it. Thanks

Can't add a 2nd campaign o_O
Hi there, Here is the thing.. I have an e-commerce website selling in Canada and USA. I created 2 different directories to get my website translated in both English and French. My first campaign is basically the English version of my website: https://www.nwseatcovers.com/en. I've configured the campaign with G.A, Social Media, targeted keywords etc... Now I'd like to create a 2nd campaign targeting my French version: https://www.nwseatcovers.com/fr. The only problem here is that it won't let me go through the whole "Add a Campaign" process. I've been able to access the "BASICS" tab where you have to enter the company name, website link and campaign name. However it doesn't allow me to go to the next step. As soon as I press the "Next" button, here is the message I have: "We have already started building this campaign. If you entered the wrong URL and would like to track a different site, please create a new campaign." When I created my very first campaign, I didn't have to wait, the campaign was available almost immediately. Does this message mean that it requires couple of hours/days to create my 2nd campaign? Thank you for your help.

Keyword Research and Tracking Tips?
Keyword research is elusive thing. Sort of like Bigfoot. Well… not really. Rand actually does an excellent job explaining how to get started in his Moz Academy lesson on Keyword Research. Check that link out! I want to get the same type of conversation started on Q&A. I'll let everyone know how I’ve learned to do KW research. Please let me know how you do it!!!!! The first thing you’ll want to do is create a list of keywords you feel like your brand should target. I would start with what you offer, your brand, and how you want people to find you. Brand – Obviously you want to rank for your brand. First thing you want to do is see how people are searching for you brand. Use Ubersuggest for this. This tool will give a huge list of ways Google is suggesting results to people. Take that list and look at one’s that relate to your service, product, or content and save them in a spreadsheet. This will let you start tackling longer tail keywords before you focus in on your exact brand. What do you offer? – Think to yourself; how would I find my own service? Let’s say you sell air conditioners. You should check out Wordtracker to get a sense of how many people are searching for “air conditioners.” Then look at the other suggestions Wordtracker gives. These suggestions are usually terms that you want to invest some research into, because people are actually searching for them. A lot of people don’t focus their efforts… They end up using a wide net, which is fine, it’s just hard to measure success and build good quality content around too many terms. Alright! Let’s say you have list ready to go. It’s time to do some competitive research. I’d start with the Keyword Difficulty tool section of Moz Analytics. If you’re new to keyword research you want to try a longer-tail keyword. Something like “air conditioners on sale” instead of just “air conditioners.” When you put a term in the Keyword Difficulty tool you’ll see the top ten people ranking for this term. These are based on Domain Authority and Page Authority. This is great way to size up the competition based on how strong their link profile is! Don’t stop there. If you see some lower authority scores in the top ten, then I’d consider it low hanging fruit. Run a full report now. There’s going to be a lot of information here, but I’d like to focus your attention to the On-page stuff. Check that data out. Look to see how well pages in the top ten are optimized(do they have A, B, C, D, or F grades?). If they’re mostly floating around the B and C grade range; try to optimize an existing page you want to rank for the term or create some new content.On-page in full report When you have a page built drop it in our standalone On-page optimization tool to get a guide on how should use your keyword. You can also use Moz Analytics’ On-page tool to track these grades in combination with your rankings data. Just keep tracking it here! How do you go about KW research and tracking? Let me know if you have any feedback on this process and please detail your own if you have time. I’d love to here what ya’ got. 61iB2ag.jpg
