Can Moz Keyword Explorer help target keywords for Google Images results?
-
I'm wondering if I can use Keyword Explorer (or maybe another tool?) to target keywords for image rankings.
I'd like to play around with optimizing images so that they appear in search results and thus provide traffic - but wasn't sure the best way to track that kind of progress.
My ultimate goal is to analyze the difficulty of ranking for a certain keyword via Google images. (I do know to optimize alt tag/title tag/place in relevant article etc, but wanted to know if I could research the difficulty).
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi again!
My apologies, I should have said that you can filter by the features that are present for your keywords, in your case these are Features Snippets and Related Questions.
For your second question it sounds like you're on the right track here. You can certainly use Keywords Explorer to identify potential keywords and then research the image results to see if there is an opportunity here.
Best of luck!

Can anyone help me out with this? @Jo Cameron maybe?

Hey,
Thanks for the response @Jo Cameron. I have a couple additional questions, if you could continue to help me out.
1. I don't seem to have that option, even in Keyword Lists? https://imgur.com/a/S6uNXGZ
2. Is using a Keyword List the only way to analyze images, as opposed to using Keyword Explorer basic function to check for keywords but focus in on images specifically - to analyze the difficulty, search volume, opportunity, etc, for targeting a keyword in Google Images specifically? (I may have more/less answers on this one if I could actually use the feature you told me about.)
Thanks again,
Mike

Hi there!
Yes indeed, you can track the SERP features for your target keywords in your Moz Pro Campaign and Keyword Explorer Keyword Lists.
Just head to Moz Pro > Rankings > SERP Features to view SERP features for your tracked keywords.
I've got a guide that might help here
We also surface SERP Features in Keyword Explorer Lists. You can also filter by Featured Snippet and Image Packs. Here is a screenshot of this in a Keyword list.
I've got a guide to Keyword Lists here
I hope this helps, please do let me know if you would like more clarification or have any other queries.

Moz Crawler fails on the first page
Hi guys, Can anybody shed some light, I'm running a crawl on a client's website but it's failing on the homepage and not crawling any other pages. It appears to be throwing an 804: HTTPS (SSL) error and then terminating the crawl. Now, the page in question was serving up mixed content up until about 4 days ago, but has since been fixed. I read that we should wait at least 48 hours before initiating another crawl to avoid hitting a cached version - which I did, but it still appears to be having issues. Is there anything specific I can do to get around this issue? I'm on a trial account and this feature is one I'm keen to test, so there is a bit of a time constraint. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Moz keyword mention on-page counting errors
Hi. Moz is showing 18 mentions of the keyword 'street furniture' on this landing page https://www.broxap.com/street-furniture.html But I can only count 6 in total in the body copy and 13 if you include navigation links. This is the same on other pages too for that keyword. Does anyone know where it's counting these extra keywords from? I don't want to fall foul of keyword stuffing but as far as I can see we're not! Could Moz be miscalculating? Any help appreciated! Thanks Joe

Site Crawl - MOz Pro
Hi There, When i look into my site crawl i have thousands of duplicate content issues. Now they are essentially product pages which are in multiple categories - however we have added the canonical tag so im confused as to why all of these are appearing as if there is an error, does the MOZ bot not take canonicals into account? Kind Regards Gemma

Understanding Keyword Explorer SERP Analysis
Hi Guys Based on the attached SERP analysis provided by Keyword Explorer, the term 'silver jewelry' appears to have a lot of potential; it has good search volume, high opportunity and potential scores; however when you look at the metrics associated with the top 3 competing sites, and the fact page 1 is dominated by major brands with equally good metrics, then a difficulty score of 26, meaning easy; seems a bit unrealistic. I would like to hear what others have to say, or am I missing something here. Regards Peter H96KVmH

On Page Grade - Moz Analytics
When I go to search overview I can see my on page optimization grades, but when I try to use the on page grade optimizer for different keywords and url's I get the error. "The URL you entered does not appear to be returning a page successfully. Please make sure that you've entered the URL of valid, working page." However, I know it is a valid url and I get the error even if I use the same url and same keyword I can see the grade for from the search overview. Also, if I try to regrade the page nothing happens and where my previous grade and analysis was located I now have nothing. Any information about why this is happening? Thanks for the help.
