Short answer? Write compelling content that people will want to share with their friends. If you do that, people will share links to your site, and that will boost visibility and your authority with the search engines.
Longer answer. Don’t expect it to happen over night. Or even over a couple of weeks. Google only surfaces web sites that they feel are authoritative and which directly answer a user’s search query. Authority takes time to build, and one of the easiest ways to build authority is to get links into your site from other respected sites. Or because people are talking about your site (on social) and sharing links to your content.
Also, Google takes the search intent of the person doing the search into account when they evaluate the sites that appear as results. So even if you match on a keyword basis in the title, the URL and the headings on the page, if the intent isn’t a match, they won’t show your page.

Well you have a lot of work to do. And we really mean A. LOT. OF. WORK!
Some of your competitors have thousands of pages on their website and we only see 9 pages indexed in Google for your site when searching site:planetdocumentation.com. These same competitors have over 1,000 root domains linking to their site; you only have 1.
Here's a to do list for you:
- Create hundreds of pages of useful content for your website
- Build/acquire hundreds of links to this content
- Create a keyword map showing which pages you want to rank for which phrases
- Optimize your pages according to the keyword map
- Add internal links where it makes sense on this newly created content linking to the right pages according to your keyword map
- Read everything that Gaston recommended

Hi there!
On the one hand, its completely normal to have a "low" DA, as your site is relatively new. In the short term, I wouldn't worry that much about PA or DA; I'd focus more on understanding your audience and creating great content and UX.
On the other hand, there are many parts of an SEO strategy. I'd suggest you to start taking a deep read to some of the best tutorials out there. Here I'm listing some of them:

- The Beginner's Guide to SEO - Moz

Best luck.

Should I delete youtube videos when moving to Wistia (or other on-site platform)?
One of my new clients recently built a site that has a great potential for ranking product pages with video rich snippets. Each product page has a single video, but they are currently hosted on youtube and embedded using Youtube iframes. Overall the videos aren't a great fit for Youtube, and we have decided to move the product videos to Wistia. (Much thanks to Phil Nottingham for his answers in this post, and his overall insights on video SEO in general). So what is the best way to make sure we get original credit for the video? I'm planning to take down all the product videos from the Youtube account as soon as we switch the embeds on the site. Is that enough?

Google+ Local ranking for company with no website
Hi,
Image & Video Optimization | | Ant71
Im about to start helping a small business who has a facebook account but no website. Has anyone got any experience of getting a business ranking locally without a website? Just wandering if NAP details from a facebook / Google+ account helps with local citation building? Or whether a basic website is required? Antony0 -
Backlink value of 9Slides.com link
I got a backlink from http://www.9slides.com (site like slideshare) which is cool but I'm trying to compare its worth vs a link from slideshare. It is extra work to create content in slide + video format and its DA is lower- are there any positives I'm missing? Has anyone analyzed this site, any suggestions?

How likely it is to rank both locally and organically
I think the question summarizes it pretty well. Did anybody experienced this, to rank for one or multiple keywords in both local and organic search results?

301 redirect .com to .co.uk to improve position in UK serps
I've set up a new campaign for a website specifically targetting a service offered in a specific UK city. It's on a .com domain, and we've managed to get a few powerful links and while its only been going for a few weeks it's starting to get decent rankings in Google.com but is nowhere to be seen in Google.co.uk. It's getting good traffic but not traffic that converts probably because it's targeted to the UK and most visitors are from the US. I've just set up Google places, changed geo targeting to the UK, I've moved over to a UK host and we're targetting UK sites for links. I think while things are still at an early stage it would be a good idea to move everything that's on the .com over to the .co.uk with a 301 redirect and send all new links over to the .co.uk. What do you guys think? Is this a good idea? Thanks

Image SEO - Does having multiple sites using same image help?
I'd assume that if many websites reference the same image on a server that this image would rank higher in image results than a similar image that is only used on 1 website.I have yet to do any testing with this to be certain, but how important does this factor seem to be in regards to image SEO?
