Hi

Does anybody know if there are tools to track keywords ranking back for the last 6 months?

Our existing software was malfunctioning, and we lost all kws ranking data for the last 6 months((

@alexbiertones Not exactly, but I would set google search console and after a few days look for the main keywords in ahrefs or semrush.

Agree with previous answers. I would prefer to use Ahrefs or Semrush but depending on the number of kw it may be a lot of work.
Also search console may give you an accurate ranking.
Another cheap tool that I use is serprobot You can know the exact ranking for the kw you select in one or many websites. Not for this case (not available for previous months) but fot the present and kw movements will be fine, and in case you lose other data you will have this. And just 5usd per month.
How you got the data of your kw? Datasheet, any tool?

There is no such tool available in the market that can give previous ranking data. I agree with @Nozzle , Ahref and semrush can help you to get some approx idea about few keywords. Even you can use Search Console to get average position.

Unfortunately there is not a great solution to get data for your exact list of keywords but you can use SEMrush or Ahrefs keyword index to get an idea of how you were ranking for at least some of your keywords over the last 6 months. They both have a huge keyword index and you can type in your domain and it will give you a list of keywords and your ranking position for at least one day out of each month. You can choose a different date from the drop down menu to analyze the last 6 months.
