What are the things I should tell my website developer to keep in mind for on-page SEO wise while outsourcing it?
-
I have done the keyword research for my target and will do the copy writing in-house suited for both visitors and bots.Like suitable headers and mention of keyword in the content, mention of keyword in link, having video in the page if possible etc.
I need some help for a proper interlinking strategy and main question is, what are the things to be taken care of in coding/development SEO wise, which should be told to developer.
I am going for custom development in .NET platform( if it matters anyway )
My site will have 3 products/services page and rest are resources and Q&A community. I am targeting the keywords for 3 products. Q&A community and resources should help me in long tail keywords.
Any kind of advice, suggestion is welcome.
Thanks

Hi
are many things to say to the developers if they do not have Seo experienceOne of the first things I ask is:
The CMS should be very simple to use but with the possibility of change in real time, meta title, description, meta keywords (if using) and control the density of the keywotds inside the main content. Also have appropriate controls, for example, does not exceed 65 characters in the meta title etc..
Having the rewrite of all the pages built and the ability to change the name of the pages if necessary. These are the basics for a good start
Bye

Hi all, I'd like to ask you what's your opinion about combine the knowledge in SEO with JS. I'm already working in agency as Technical SEO Exec and I'd like to study a part-time JS developer course because I like coding too. In a future, I'd like to combine my knowledge in SEO and the skills I could get in mentioned course because I like both of them. Please, let me know your thoughts about it because your opinion would help me a lot. Thanks a lot guys! Ignacio

Do I tell MOZ to track both shorter keywords AND the long-winded versions of each shorter keyword?
I understand that my keyword strategy should include a mix of keywords and their long-winded version of the same. And that I should tell Google which keywords each page should rank for. Now when I'm telling MOZ which keywords to monitor for my site's ranking, should I include both the short AND long-winded versions?

What would you expect an SEO agency to deliver in 6 months?
Hi All, Looking for some views/opinions on this one, my question is "What would you expect an SEO agency to have delivered for a single client over a 6 month period with a budget of £12k?" I appreciate that its fairly open ended and very subjective not knowing the site/circumstances but is there a general consensus or minimum you'd expect to have seen delivered for example x number of backlinks, x number pieces of content created, technical improvements made etc etc. Any steer, views or opinions would be greatly appreciated. How much dev knowledge as an seo do I need to know in order to make small changes on websites?
Hi mozzers I am considering learning some dev just to be able to make minor changes on websites. I love seo but will never want to be a programmer. I get sometimes frustrated that I have to request my dev colleague to make minor changes such as adding a small piece of codes to a website for verification purposes or adding rich snippet or modifying the ga code to get more out of it. I know some HTML and understands the core elements and attributes. My first question would be: what should I learn without learning A-Z of programming? My guess would be some php and? My second question: based on your answer where can I learn about these programs? Any interactive learning services such as team treehouse ? Any online courses? Thanks!

First Time SEO Online Store
Hi All, I have recently launched a new online store selling mobile phones and accessories. I have always found SEO to be one of those foggy areas, after all I see things through curly braces. However, as the director of the new online store I do need to get myself involved in SEO and all its wonders that it has to offer. I was wondering if any of the Pro SEO guys at there have any tips for an almost newbie in the world of SEO... Can it be made fun?? I find it at times to be a right slog and I do question whether I'm actually getting anywhere etc. Any responses or advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards Rob

Market Motive - Take their SEO Course?
Hi there, I'm considering taking Market Motive's online SEO course for $3,500. It's a steep price for me so I wanted to ask you guys if this is a wise choice. The course would grant me certification and is around 90 days to complete. Has anyone had any experience with this course? It seems a little old, but Market Motive claims they update their videos.
