So how long does it take for ose to index a link ?

Say from a pr 9 site like yahoo

How long does it take for a link to appear in ose ?

Best case a week, worst case 10 weeks.

The SEOmoz crawler takes 2-3 weeks to crawl the web, and 1-2 weeks to process the data once the crawl has been completed.

In a worst-case scenario, your link is built after the first day of the crawl, and the page upon which the link was placed was crawled on day 1.

I will also add web sites do not have "PR", web pages do. You can have a PR10 site such as dmoz with a link to your site which is never discovered because the page upon which the link is placed is buried so many levels deep the page has too low of a PR to be crawled.

With the above understood, if a link was created on a PR9 web page, Google would surely discover the link within hours and the site would gain the benefit of the link immediately.

Where is the link prospecting tool?

I feel like last year when Moz was still SEOMoz I used a beta tool that would help you build a bunch of queries for link prospecting. You would tell it what your sites about and a few other pieces of information, and it would give you a list of google queries to get you started (ie inurl:directory <industryname> +"add site"</industryname>). However, I'm having a hard time finding this tool, or any reference to it on the web. It's also possible that it wasn't a moz tool but I'm misremembering where I found it. Does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about?

FollowerWonk: How long have I been following someone?

Is there a way within followerwonk to find out how long you have been following someone for or indeed how long they have been following you for? I have downloaded the excel document from the "sort your followers" tab Which has sections called. "follows @name" and "@name follows" but these just give a last checked date(if they do follow/are being followed) rather than the metric I want!

Long URLs

My website is hosted by Hubspot. When I create a blog, the URL, as an example, would be: http://www.boxtheorygold.com/blog/bid/27061/Manage-By-the-Numbers/ Instead I am getting the URL below. Google Webmaster tools and moz see this as an error and google says it can't crawl because it is a non-existent page. Users cannot see this page, and Hubspot can't figure it out, but google and moz see it. This problem is occurring on about 25 blogs out of 150. Any ideas? And thanks. Competitive Link Analysis not showing links.

Hate asking such a vague question, but my SEOMoz link analysis report is not showing any backlinks for a client of mine. I loaded the information the same way I did my other clients, which show all links. www.domain.com is being forwarded properly to domain.com. I know there are backlinks because I put many of them there myself over the last couple of months. Clearly this is affecting my Moz score. Not sure how to troubleshoot this. How to get the total external links to a page and total external links to the domain using Mozscape API? I could not see an option in the bit flags

Hi, I was trying to get the data for total external links to a page and total external links to the domain using Mozscape API but I can't see a bit flag which can do that. There are bit flags for external followed links to a page and external followed links to a domain but I wanted the total external links data, is there a way to do that using Mozscape API else I would end up copying the data manually from OSE which would be cumbersome and time consuming. Your help is highly appreciated.

What is the quickest way to get OSE data for many URLs all at once?

I have over 400 URLs in a spreadsheet and I would like to get Open Site Explorer data (domain/page authority/trust etc) for each URL. Would I use the Linkscape API to do this quickly (ie not manually entering every single site into OSE)? Or is there something in OSE or a tool I am overlooking? And whatever the best process is, can you give a brief overview? Thanks!! -Dan
