How to compare Goals in Analytics
-
I setup LivePerson web chat on my site. In doing so I integrated it with Google Analytics as a conversion goal so I can track the visitors that engaged in chat.
I want to see the affect these chats have on my other conversion goal, a completed lead. How do I figure out the conversion % of new leads for people who have enaged in web chat vs. those who haven't?

This is awesome, thanks for the great reply!
I didn't even realize you could segment traffic like this. Thanks aghain!

Hi,
The best way to do this in my opinion is creating two advanced segments within Google Analytics.
- 1 Segment with the people who used you're LivePerson chat, you set the specific goal which you already used for LivePerson to identify these people. And you set the value on > 1 because they had to complete at least one time the goal to start a chat with you. So it looks like this. In this example I used Goal 1, make sure you have the right number for you LivePerson goal.
- 1 Segment with the people who didn't complete the goal. Which is the value less than 1. The segment will look like this.
After you create those segments you are able to apply them both on your reports and so you can see what is the difference between those segments.
Happy analyzing and please let me know if you have any questions!

Has anyone ever seen kazooisyee in their Analytics account before?
We noticed a huge spike in traffic this past Sunday and after some digging in our Analytics account, we saw that it was coming from kazooisyee (under the Network tab). This traffic had almost a 100% bounce rate and they spent an average of less than a second on our site. Does anyone know what this might be associated to? Is this one of those SEO site analysis sites? Any information on this will help a ton as my employer is rather concerned about this at the moment. Thanks!

Funnel Problem in Google Analytics - Please help
Hello, I did set up a several funnel steps in my analytics account to get the funnel visualization report. But it's look fishy, something's clearly wrong that it shows only 10 visitors at the first step but actually more than 5k visitors has visited first goal page and followed through the another all steps. Everyday we are receiving 5k to 10k goal conversions but it not showing in the entire funnel steps through first step to last step. Please see the attached screenshot URL for funnel setup (Admin) and funnel visualization report comparing last two months traffic. Total goal conversions received 3,605 in last two months but in funnel chart (report) it showing only 2% conversions in last step. Anybody can tell me what is the problem with that or analytics not tracking properly?si65Y

Google Analytics Custom Alert For Goal Completions?
Hi currently setting up custom alerts for a website. I want to do a custom alerts for when goal completions decrease or increase by a certain % e.g. 20% as shown in the third example from this Moz Article back in 2012 - http://moz.com/blog/7-essential-google-intelligence-custom-alerts-that-keep-me-sane However when i go into my GA account the only options seem to be for when the goal completion conversion rate % drops. I could use this, but i rather do just based on completions rather than %. Any ideas on how i can do this? Thanks.

Tracking analytics on several domains
Hello, I am looking for some advice. I am working with a real estate client. They have a main website, and then several separate agent websites. The agent sites share some content with the main site, as well as having some unique content. My question is what is the best way to track visitors? Should I have separate Google Analytics accounts for each site, or should I use one account and separate profiles?
