Why do I see different ranking results for Bing and Yahoo?

If Bing is running the Yahoo search results then it seems to me the ranks for both Bing and Yahoo should be the same. So why are my SEOmoz ranking reports showing different positions for each?

Yahoo actually applies their own criteria to the results. It's one of the "features" they claimed set them apart from Bing when the deal was consummated.

Good question Thomas. I'm not sure about this, so I've assigned this question to the help team and will have them come over and give an answer when they have a chance (they normally don't visit Q&A unless an associate or staff member flags a question).

Hi All, my Bing and Yahoo search results pretty much all say not in 50, but for Google many are in the top 10. In the past I have seen the reverse...high search on Yahoo/Bing - low on Google. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Thank you!

Universal rankings has made my page not show in rankings any more
We've had a page with a video on it for ages; it always ranks well, generally around no. 5. But I've noticed that it's now ignored in SEMOZ as a page, and only shows as a Universal Result - so it looks as though our top page is no. 22, even thought the video shows as an icon still in the same position, no. 5. That's annoying as I now have to explain to my stakeholders how come our rankings appear to have dropped off a cliff - when i fact they haven't. The page appears in google SERPS exactly as it always has. Can anything be done to make it appear back as it did in SEMOZ? Thanks

Is it possible to use the RankTracker to track specific location rankings?
We are a regional store and tracking the "global" rankings isn't super useful. We need to know what our organic rankings are for our specific market area. Is this possible with the SEOMOZ Rank tracker tool? I didn't see this option but I just wanted to check over here since it seems like it would be a pretty common issue. Thanks!

SEOMoz Crawl Warnings, do they really hurt rankings?
SEOMoz reports 250 crawl warnings on my site. In most cases its too long title tags, with 4 of them its missing meta description. SEOMoz says it will hurt my rankings? However, I'm sure a recent whiteboard Friday contradicted this. So what is it?

Cannot see Bing rank in Campaign
Hi guys I have included Bing en-GB in my engine list for rankings on one of my websites, however, the actual rank placements are not showing at all in the results, even though a search in Bing shows my site is top on some of the keywords and near top on some of the others. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks Nick
