Page Rank is different from google search
-
I use the ranking tools to check each page of our site. I use the keyword flora grand and exact url http://www.florahospitality.com/dubai-flora-grand-hotel.aspx . It return page rank 1 in US, UAE, and UK region but when I try to search it in google it doesn't appear.
-
Hi Ryan,
I noticed that change this morning. Probably some caching issues related to google.ae.
Thanks.
-
When I use Google.ae the same page appears as the first result for "flora grand". The 3 results above the listing are the paid results and your site appears as the first organic listing on the page.
-
You are right that in google.com it is the first result. I forgot to mention that we are using google.ae.
-
When I search on Google.com for "flora grand" the first result is: http://www.florahospitality.com/dubai-flora-grand-hotel.aspx
-
Hi Ryan,
Does it display the exact page of flora grand which is http://www.florahospitality.com/dubai-flora-grand-hotel.aspx? Because when I'm searching it what is coming up is the group page
www.florahospitality.com. We just wanted a more personal search result as we are advertising each property differently.
The ranking tool that I was referring to is in the research tools of SEOMoz.
Yes I was referring to google.com. In the ranking tool of SEOMOz you can select which search engine, keyword and the url where it should match.

Hi Shebin. I am not clear on your exact question.
I use the ranking tools to check each page of our site.
What is the exact name of the ranking tool you are using?
It return page rank 1 in US, UAE, and UK region
In the US, UAE and UK region of what? Of Google? Another search engine or tool?
Toolbar PR is only updated once every 3-4 months and therefore is not helpful for many SEO-related measurements.
when I try to search it in google it doesn't appear.
I searched Google.com for "Flora Grand Hotel Dubai" and your site is the first result. I also tried searching "Flora Grand" and your site is still the first result.

Which is the better keyword strategy? Specifying page or seeing what ranks?
I recently began using another third-party tool that requires a list of keywords and the URLs I want those keywords to rank on (for example, "vegetarian recipes" on www.123.com/vegetarian-recipes). Is this a better strategy than using the Moz ranking tool to see which pages on my domain my target keywords are already ranking for? I can see how the former might mean we miss opportunities but the latter doesn't necessarily show how my priority pages are doing for specific keywords.

How To Ques. Getting ranked on page one for a keyword when you compete with bigger websites/companies/stores
Can David Beat Goliath. I work with small businesses with top products that are up against big brands and their online presence. If I am working with them to create content that meets the needs of all their stakeholders/customers/prospects to generate revenue I wonder if keyword targeting with content can really pay off to get them page one, #1 position ranking. So I ask you this question? How do you create a story for a small online store that can get ranked on page one for a keyword when you compete with bigger websites (or sites with higher domain authority)? I don't need all the basics, I'm just looking for a key insight or tip that you have found or heard is working for a David to beat a Goliath (and hold their position rank once they get highly ranked). We are up against sites - for viable keywords -who have higher domain authority and in some cases more content or link backs. Also, I've notice in situations when I do get to page one and I'm in position 7 MOZ analytics show low to no traffic coming from it? Yikes, what do I do to improve that? These are top keywords.

Local Rankings Drop?
G'morning! I got a disturbing report this morning that showed seven of our big keywords drop from high on the first page to not in the top 50. After further research I have found that we are now in Google's local cluster, but no longer on the traditional organic results. My question is this, has Google changed something that doesn't allow results in the local cluster AND in the traditional organic listings? I'm assuming that this is the case because we're doing smart SEO and have built these rankings up nicely over time, but then just fell off the face of the earth. I have attached a snapshot of Moz's Ranking History for a few of the keywords, as I assume this will help explain the story. (We're in green). Any insight would be much appreciated. Rankings in Google UK
Hi everyone, I've posted before on this and I'm still not satisfied that the answer is correct. Basically, my ranking report is saying that hardly any of my keywords are ranking in the top 50 of Google UK. Now, I appreciate that rankings can be affected by my search history, but I've tried other computers, other IP addresses, logged out of Google, cleared cache etc.. and I'm still seeing the terms I'm wanting to rank for on the first and second pages of Google UK. What is going on? My boss is wanting to see progress with these terms - I'm confident that we're ranking well, but the report is saying otherwise.

Ranking history lost
Hi there, It seems I have lost all the ranking history on all my keywords. I have only checked two campaigns - kodega.de and weddingrings-direct.com and none of the keyword show any historical movement any more, something I found very useful. Please let me know if this is just a glitch or if something has really stopped working as my account has been up and running for quite some time now. Many thanks, Julian
