I would look at it glass half full. I cant take a photo - so it costs me or clients 1,000's if not 10,000 for photography.  You clearly can - so cost effective and you can control what goes onto your site.  You are in a great position. Upsell original photography...

I also think though it is a factor it is not high ranking factor (yet!).

Most assume that even though "google reverse image" is "public" behind the scenes it forms part of the google algorithm. Google wants originality...  and it seems only natural to use google reverse image as an indicator.

If it is one photo on a few sites i would not get too excited, but if it is on alot of sites and is not difficult to change - I would suggest you do.

test your image on google reverse image... always a good start.

No, as long as not deleting analytics account when you upgrade it is ok, just a code update. That said I am a cautious chap so I would peel out some important data on the off chance... but spend little time on it, just for safety.

Maybe replace the tracking code with the new Analytics.js?

Anayltics.js has some new tracking features compared to the old ga.js and might be the reason why you aren't able to see data & statistics.

I am a little unclear on the question however a 301 redirect is the best way to tell google to forget about the old URL focus on the end URL of the redirect.   It is as clean and efficient as you get.

But to be clear direct from google webmaster:-

Matts answer is perfect but if you want me all you can do is condense common sense to them in a written form.  I will try and give some suggestions.  Firstly I would also give them online examples.  Specifically I would use best in class pure online operators that your bosses would be familiar with. Competitors and not keeping up with them always rankle good bosses.

Hence showing examples between agreed world class operators and what you are doing would clearly highlight the lack of "best in class" attributes of your company SOP.

As Google states a Google indicator in page ranking is the words in the URL. Hence if you bosses are capable enough and type car insurance into www.google.com.au - nearly all websites will display a website like the below.

<cite class="_Rm">www.comparethemarket.com.au/car-insurance/</cite>Hence even your bosses with only a few key strokes should be able to see what is best practice. Ask them to show you a world class online operator that states www.comparethemarket.com.au/123456 for the keyword car insurance.So in summary I would show them what is happening in a the real world - simply ask them to type in a query to bring up a good online operator.  Best still show them what your competitors are up to.Good luck with them.

The easiest way is as Patrick states below.  Use www.semrush.com.  They scrape the data from search analytics anyway and then put it in an easy format for us!

You can get some free searches on Semrush before they close you out. So make sure you change the search to the right country before you press enter. I think semrush is gold. It should be the easy solution.

I add that if the site is ranking well for the key pages then I would try and mimic the Title tags and H1's in transition. Why change a good thing.

However if the site is not ranking well or can be improved then the transition is the perfect opportunity to review the Title tag and H1. Undertake some keyword analysis and optimize the Title tags and H1's for search today. Always good to review and maybe eliminate some duplication etc. that always creeps in with mine.

The meta descriptions in my experience is irrelevant to SEO - only the title tag and H1, out of the 3.  However the meta description does have an impact on CTR which in my view is just as important. So ensure carefully crafted and sending the customer a reason to click through to your website.

A website we instructed down this path is www.cottonon.com - It is more complicated - but that is a retailer that rolls out new shops in each country. Hence Australia is www.cottonon.com/au etc. Go to their website and from a practical perspective watch it operation, this may help in clearing it all up for you.  Note the power CO is in the store finder - where you get to use google maps...

Yes, in a nutshell.  That is one way - but Google maps for each location would save you alot of work.

The key ingredient missing on the above is on the pages you make - ensure your meta title reads "Flowers | New York | Mywebsite".

Then your H1 is also location keyword rich.  Then find links preferable local. Maybe some local directories etc.   I would also be trying to make a cracking page - with great user friendly content. Whatever you do do not duplicate content swapping location names - that is an easy way to "never be found on google"...

So it is hard work... for each location.

It can be complicated - and without alot more information & countries etc.all answers could be wrong.  There are several paths depending on the answers.  So everything I suggest is dependent on unknown factors.

Because of the weighting to google maps it is difficult if you do not have an address in each country. I would strongly urge you to change you outlook on this position. Then you could consider subdomains. If you only want to use one domain (which is what I recommend) and no subdomains - you could make a page for each country you are targeting. Have you considered that?  Then you have to action each country page uniquely and obtain links and build DA to same. On the link building it should be page specific ie if targeting chicago get chicago based/centric links to that page.
