Hi Tony!
We have a wiki page that goes over everything we offer through our API. Basically as long as you stay within our attribution and branding requirements, you are free to do whatever you want with our API. As for tips and suggestions, you may want to reach out to the dev community for any advice. The Crawl limit is not part of the API, that is a separate feature that is available in our web app.
Here are some helpful links:

Hope this helps!
Hi Peter!
Sorry you are not able to export your reports. I believe you are referring to the on page grader under research tools? We are working on restoring this and hope to have this fixed very soon. Unfortunately I do not have a solid ETA. I will update this thread as soon as I get an update!
Very sorry for the inconvenience!
Hi DaddySmurf!
Managing brand rules can be a little confusing at times. Here is a great blog post that might be able to clarify some things for you: http://moz.com/blog/introducing-branded-keyword-rules-and-metrics
Hope this helps!
Hi theponyclub
This was reviewed at one point last year and a response from our product team can be found here.
We haven't seen a lot of requests to integrate other tools but you could help start up a new discussion for our product team to review.
What you would lose from Google Analytics will be organic visits for the site and social and landing pages data.
Hi Monique!
I have sent an email to you regarding your campaign not collecting data. Let me know if you have not received it and I will send another!
Cheers
Hi Amber!
I've added your account to the list for the next wave of accounts that'll be granted access to analytics. It may take about a week or so before your account is rolled in, but you'll know you have access when you're campaigns page shows a "Back to the New Version" link:
http://screencast.com/t/7lB1Gz3c
Hope you had fun at MozCon!
Hi Don
I'm afraid labels and filters are only supported in campaigns. I would recommend submitting a feature request to see if it is something others may find helpful. Send your suggestions over on https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests
Other customers will be able to see your request and it can help prioritize building it if more interest is seen.
Hope this helps!
Hi Dmitrii
Campaigns take a while to fetch the information from our Index updates when they release. You can check to see if new metrics have been calculated directly in OSE until they update in campaigns.
Hope this helps!
Hi Trip, no ETA yet as they are investigating. Once I have more info I will send an email
Hello!
Sorry about that. We are working on getting these tools back up soon which will still be unsupported. If you want to share your feedback or make any suggestions there is a discussion here: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/23997093-Bring-Back-Comparative-Link-Finder-Tool
Hope that helps!
Hi Everyone!
I am very sorry about the reports being incomplete. I can confirm this is also consistent with my own account. I will have our engineers take a look at this and I will let you know as soon as this is resolved!
Cheers!
It has always taken about 24-48 hours for new index data to update Moz campaigns. It is correct in a sense it represents the last index until you can see the last update timeframe updated with the current one.
In regards to the metrics, I just confirmed with our engineers the DA/PA is from the last index. There will be a post providing more details, hopefully very soon in the Q&A.
Hi Shannon!
I apologize for any confusion, the campaign may be inactive on the PRO side which you can re-activate here: pro.moz.com/campaigns. Make sure you are logged in before going to the link.
Let me know if this works!
Hi Chris
I have confirmed that we are not having any issues with the ranking report emails. Are you using an email client or using webmail? Would you be able to send me a screenshot of what you are seeing?
Cheers,
Hey there!
It looks like you are referring to the same domain in your other question here: http://moz.com/community/q/have-a-campaign-but-only-states-1-page-has-been-crawled-by-seomoz-bots-what-needs-to-be-done-to-have-all-the-pages-crawled
I've posted my response there as the solution will also resolve this issue.
Cheers!

Moz Help Team
Hi Becky
Just want to clarify when you are providing us your URL in a Moz campaign, this is not scheduling us to crawl your site but querying an existing database (our index) to retrieve any information we may have already collected for your site.
Our Mozscape index crawls constantly for links and you don't have to have a Moz subscription to view your domain/page authority. A Moz subscription gives you more access to existing data and reporting tools and does not influence how we discover and index links.
Hope this helps!
Hi Trip/Monique!
Glad it is working on your end!
Hi Kristy
I replied to the email you or someone from your company that was submitted. I will continue to work with you there!
Cheers
Hey Everyone!
We include the "Not Provided Data" traffic as non-branded because it is actually organic. In this case, Google isn't providing the more detailed information for users that are logged into their accounts since they view this as a privacy issue. Instead, they just label it as organic. We report this as non-branded traffic in Moz since we don't have a way to see the keyword.
Hope this helps!
Hey Brad!
This does seem suspicious and will have our devs take a look. I may not hear back from them right away. Will keep you posted!
Hi Margret!
You can downgrade anytime after setting up an annual account, however, your card will not be refunded for the full amount and will be applied as a credit on the account. The 20% discount for annual subscriptions can only be applied if you stay the full year. Downgrading will add the difference in the credit amount.
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Maarten
Make sure they keyword + URL combination is already not on the list. If it is you might experience an error or no action after submitting as it's trying to add a duplicate. See if you can find the keyword already in your list and click on the refresh icon.
Hope this helps!
Hi Naman,
I found the culprit! It looks like you are blocking rogerbot from crawling here:
User-agent: Ezooms
Disallow: /
I just learned today that we have a crawler alias, Ezooms is an anagram of Seomoz
Removing this will let us crawl.
Hope that helps!
Hi Steven!
We have always had separate API plans. One change for free access is we no longer offer a higher rate limit for Pro subscriptions. So free access will only be limited to 1 request every 10 seconds.
Hi There!
You may have reached your page crawl limit set for your account. You will need to lower your page limit for each campaign to be closer to the actual amount of pages you have.
Here is where you can lower your page limits when viewing your campaign settings: http://static.seomoz.org/uploads/edit-the-name.jpg
Hope this helps!
Hello!
Sorry to hear about mozbar not working. We are not seeing other reports of any issues. Can you try clearing your cache/cookies to see if the toolbar will recognize your login? If not please send us a screenshot and your account info to help@moz.com
Thanks!
Hello!
For multi-language sites we recommend using sub-domains to completely isolate one language opposed to having a sub-folder configuration.
There isn't a way that I know of that would allow you to exclude /fr and /de which would not allow you to track them at all if they are blocked in your robots.txt file.
For both configurations you will need to create 3 campaigns.
Someone from the community may know of a workaround as there isn't one we are aware of. I will set this to a discussion and hopefully someone might be able to chime in.
Hi Zoran
I'm afraid this request is only available through paid API plans: https://moz.com/products/api/pricing
Hi Michele!
Campaigns can track sub-domains, root-domains, or sub-folders so if your sites can be accessed on their own as a sub-domain or sub-folder, you can create up to 5 campaigns to isolate the data.
When creating a campaign and entering the URL you would use brand1.domain.com or www.domain.com/brand1/ and check the box below to "exclude subdomains" which means this will only track the sub-domain/folder you enter.
Make sure you are entering the URL as they resolve on search engines so if you enter a few keywords and one of your URLs resolve as domain.com/brand then you want to add the URL without the "www" or vice-versa.
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Lueka!
I can confirm there is an issue that we just discovered and are investigating. I will let you know when this will be fixed and I am terribly sorry for any inconvenience.
Talk to you soon!
Hi Torbett
Would you be able to provide an example of an issue we are still reporting?
Hi David,
To answer your first question what you are seeing does not affect Moz at all as we use multiple IPs to avoid bias. In OpenSiteExplorer links are not affected by locality.
Check out the FAQ we have for Universal Rankings at the bottom of this link: http://moz.com/help/pro/rankings
Hope that helps!
Hi Amelia
Currently there isn't a way to upload pages in bulk. We do have a feature request forum if you would like to make a suggestion here: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests
Our product team monitors the forum so definitely submit a request!
Hi Lueka
Our engineers have resolved the issue and your report is ready. Can you confirm you have received it?
Cheers!
Hey Darren!
It appears we have not discovered new links to the site for at least 6 months and the site is no longer in our index. OSE is based on freshness and to stay crawled is to have continuous links being discovered from sites that also have their own fresh links.
You can see no new links have been picked up for the site here: https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/just-discovered?site=shelbywilliams.com&filter=&source=&target=domain&page=1&sort=crawled
Run the same search for potential domains you can build links on and once we have new links queued up, they will appear in 2-3 index updates and we will re-crawl the pages on your site.
Hope this helps!
Hi Rahul,
Our Rank tracker tool does not include Universal placement listings in the results, if you'd like to see your progress with your rankings regionally, you would have to start a campaign to obtain data associated with your efforts. For more information, please check out Moz.com/help/rankings.
Hope that helps!
Hello!
More timeframe options is on our list to add but it may not be available for a while. The current workaround is to setup custom reports so you can have a weekly and monthly record of your data you can obtain at anytime.
I recommend adding any feedback or suggestions in the feature request forum for this topic here: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/23182030-Monthly-Timeframe-for-Reports-and-Dashboards-Views
Hope this helps!
Hi Kevin
Currently the SERP reports are generated live upon request and cannot be automatically generated from Research Tools or within a Campaign. If you would like to suggest a feature, definitely let our product team know at https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests
Hope this helps!
Hi Lorenzo!
I am terribly sorry you feel that you are not receiving updates. I did respond to you on the 18th providing a workaround to run a crawl test before the web app is scheduled to run. I also happily offered to give you a full credit of your next month's service once we can resolve all of your issues we have open with our engineers. For open issues you will receive a much faster response if you reply to our existing emails as you do have a record of hearing from me within an hour since I initially made contact with you. Sending a new support request will put you behind 100 other support requests which I will not be able to see so I will not know you are asking a new question.
I do see your cancelation has been submitted and if you have not yet requested a chargeback with your bank, I am more than happy to refund the $249.
Let me know what you would like to do as I really want to help you resolve these issues.
Hi Fries,
Search volumes are now available as we are using Bings Adwords API. Unfortunately Belgium is not one of the countries supported by the API yet, however Google Adwords can pull data for you.
Here is a list of supported countries for Bings API, hopefully they will be able to add more soon.

Hi Aaron
What you may need to do is revoke your GA token and completely re-connect.
First log out of any and all google/gmail sessions so you are prompted to log into the appropriate affected account.
Follow this link https://accounts.google.com/b/0/IssuedAuthSubTokens. This page displays the current OAuth tokens you are using.
Once you reach the page, simply press the revoke button (illustrated on this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/vjh3KrjRRIe) for services that you are not using right now.
Once you are done with, that simply go back to your campaign settings, disconnect your GA profile and reconnect (do not reauthorize or it will not work)
Let me know if this helps!
Hello!
OSE won't necessarily crawl every page depending on their authority.
Just so you know, here's how we compile our index:
Therefore, if the site is not linked to by one of these seed URLs (or one of the URLs linked to by them in the next update) then it won't show up in our index.
Mozscape focuses on a breadth-first approach. Therefore we almost always have content from the homepage of websites, externally linked-to pages, and pages higher up in a site's information hierarchy. However, deep pages that are buried beneath many layers of navigation are sometimes missed and it may be several index updates before we catch all of these.
If our crawlers or data sources are blocked from reaching those URLs, they may not be included in our index (though links that point to those pages will still be available). Finally, the URLs seen by Mozscape must be linked-to by other documents on the web or our index will not include them.
For now, the best thing you can do to help your domain become indexed is to work on link building for links from sites with high mozrank. If you need help with that, you may want to ask the Q&A community about it who can give you great advice!
Hey Francisco!
For Open Site Explorer we pull shares of the exact URL you are looking up from public Facebook pages. 'Likes' are also pulled from public pages from Facebook's API and not the Facebook Page or embedded buttons on the URL.
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Roshni
Can you email us with the URL you are attempting to add at help@moz.com or reply here if you don't mind sharing. Just want to make sure you are adding a sub-domain, root-domain and sub-folder and not a page which will not work. You also want to make sure you are adding the URL as it resolves if you have any re-directs, especially 302 re-directs.
If your site re-directs from domain.com to www.domain.com then you would need to enter www.domain.com
Let me know if this helps
Hello!
Sorry for the confusion. For your site there were two issues, one on our side with our crawler failing between August 21st - 29th crawls trying to reach http://None/yourdomain.com and the site not responding to robots.txt
The crawl issue has been resolved but for some reason your site is still blocking our user-agent.
Rogerbot can't follow allow directives well so you could try updating it with Disallow:
User-agent: Rogerbot
Disallow:
Let me know if this helps! Once you make the change I can run a quick test to see if it will resolve.
Hi Kasper!
You can use www.opensiteexplorer.org to export backlink data. We can only provide up to 25 links per linking root domain.
Hope this helps!
Hi Gareth!
This will be hard to troubleshoot without knowing the full URLs. Could you send us the exact URLs you are working with to help@moz.com so we can take a look?
Hi Crazydiamond!
In order to track weekly reports we recommend setting up custom reports to create and store a PDF for the data you wish to track together or separately which can be downloaded at anytime. We don't have the capacity to maintain historical data in the UI outside of the graphs. Custom reports are the way to go!
Here is more information on how to setup reports: moz.com/help/guides/custom-reports
Hope this helps!
