This is a pretty general question. Can you be more specific? If not, my general answer is go here: http://www.seomoz.org/tools

RE: Why doesn't the Better Business Bureau show up in my link analysis
What are you using to check for the back link? The BBB page contains the links and the page appears to be indexed in Google. Perhaps your link checking tool hasn't found the link yet.

RE: What article directories (if any) are still worthing posting to?
Thanks for the answer. Yeah, I still think article submission has a role. As you note, I need to tighten up to where I submit.

RE: What article directories (if any) are still worthing posting to?
Thanks moldy. From my brief research since posting the question, most "experts" agree with you in terms link trust. I'm still skeptical, but don't have hard data.

What article directories (if any) are still worthing posting to?
While article marketing my not be at the top of the SEO strategy heap, it has, thus far, had a place small place at the table.
In light of the Panda-Farmer-Anti-Demand-Media-Content update, I'm re-thinking article marketing altogether.
Which, if any, general article directories are still worth adding content to in terms of links and eyeballs?
Should these general article directories be avoided altogether?

RE: Blog URLs
I use /%category%/%postname%/ haven't had any resource problems yet.

RE: Any Tips for Link Building for Boring Topics/Businesses?
Be Thematic. Find themes that apply to your subjects. Try to relate to more popular related "stuff".
Here are some quick examples:
1. Toxic Waste Removal - Work in references, images, video of The Toxic Avenger: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090190/
2. Steel Erecting - I don't know if this is too loose, but Transformers came to mind.
3. Household Plumbing - Perhaps create a mascot, "Bobby The Hot Tempered Boiler".
Ok, so these might not be the most well-thought-out examples, but I think you get my point.

RE: Is there any SEO benefit for links shared in Facebook feeds or wall posts?
"Any SEO benefit"? Yes. Enough to make it a top priority in the grander scheme of a comprehensive SEO campaign? No.

RE: Is there an easy way to see how competitive a local search term is?
+1 for mozbar overlay & getlisteg.org
You can also look at your competitors' Google Places and review the "More about this place" section. You should be able to get a good idea of where your competitors are obtaining local citations.

RE: Tracking new inbound links
I use Caphyon's Advanced Link Manager. If you want to see whether a specific link/page has been indexed, you could use the site: advanced search operator. SEOmoz has some great information about tracking links in the Learn SEO section too.

RE: Article + 2 links to the same root domain
Even better, link the second to a separate relevant domain...

RE: Google Local Results and URL Titles
This is likely occurring because your competitor's have a "hybrid" organic/local listing. My advice is to verify that your homepage title tags are properly optimized. Also, you should verify that you have claimed your Google Places profile. My advice is to use your actual business name in the business title box for your place listing.
When Google figures out that your place page is associated with your website and you have a top organic position, you should see your website title listed in your organic/local hybrid listing.

What are the best reasons not to use Wordpress as a CMS?
I'm a big fan of Wordpress (.org) as a content management system. However, I recognize that Wordpress isn't necessarily the best CMS for all ocassions.
For those of you who don't like Wordpress, I'm interested in understanding your strongest reasons against. So, why not Wordpress?

What are some of your favorite link magnet themes?
While I'm not a subscriber to the "if you write it, links will come" mantra, there is no doubt that developing link-enticing content is a large component to effective SEO. I have experimented with "Top X Lists", interviews, how-to's, free guide downloads, and other education-based content themes for link acquisition.
What content themes have you found to be the most effective link magnets?

RE: Were you affected by the "Farmer Update?" What are you doing about it?
I'd like to see a larger data set. After most algo updates, that significantly impact rankings, there are likely to be large fluxuations in the days, weeks, and months following the update. You may find your traffic "bounces back", but it may take several months.

RE: Link building? I really dont get it is there an easy way
Solid advice. Spend the majority of time focusing on your content. Spend the rest of your time getting in front of an audience who is ready, willing, able to link to and further publicize it.

RE: How Do You Balance Factors In Domain Selection?
"However I can't foresee an instance where an exact match domain would not be telling of the relevance of that domain's content."
To me, this is at the core of the issue. If the domain contains keywords relevant to the subject-matter of the site, it is undeniable that it provides signal information about the site.
In a link vacuum, searchengine.com provides more information than dogpile.com for the search "search engine".

How Do You Balance Factors In Domain Selection?
Recently, there has been considerable discussion and debate about the value of choosing keyword-rich and exact-match domains. In a recent webmaster Q&A, Matt Cutts seems to suggest that google is planning on "turning down the dial" on keyword domain signals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAWFv43qubI
How will these changes (if at all) impact your advice to clients on domain selection?

RE: Why Does Massive Reciprocal Linking Still Work?
Thanks for the response. I'm very confident that these strategies are working. Already experimenting with secondary sites.
I'm less frustrated by the effectiveness of these strategies, and more curious as to why the SEO community generally disregards them as ineffective.
While I appreciate that "white hat seos" don't advocate "gray / black hat" techniques, it seems that they must at least acknowledge that they are still largely working.

Anyone have stats on numbers of Google users searching while logged in?
In light of Google's recent "social search update", I am curious to know how many Google users perform searches while logged into their Google account thereby showing "social results".

What is your best one sentence definition for SEO?
I have recently come across several bloggers that have been trying to formulate the best concise definition of SEO. What one sentence definitions have you used / seen? Avoid run-ons. Tweetable, even better.

Why Does Massive Reciprocal Linking Still Work?
It seems pretty well-settled that massive reciprocal linking is not a very effective strategy, and in fact, may even lead to a penatly. However, I still see massive reciprocal linking (blog roll linking even massive resource page linking) still working all the time.
I'm not looking to cast aspersion on any individual or company, but I work with legal websites and I see these strategies working almost universally.
My question is why is this still working? Is it because most of the reciprocally linking sites are all legally relevant? Has Google just not "gotten around" to the legal sector (doubtful considering the money and volume of online legal segment)?
I have posed this question at SEOmoz in the past and it was opined that massively linking blogs through blog rolls probably wouldn't send any flags to Google. So why is that it seems that everywhere I look, this strategy is basically dismissed as a complete waste of time if not harmful?
How can there be such a discrepency between what leading SEOs agree to be "bad" and the simple fact that these strategies are working en masse over the period of at least 3 years?
