If I am building a Nav bar should I use my keywords or make it easier for the user to find what they are looking for. IMO one should ALWAYS make a site based on user experience.
If it Google and other SEs do count Nav links, would it be best to place more important keys first?

Fact is it can be ONE of these things most likely unnatural link building.
In the past google had a sandbox period before any page (content) would rank. However, now everything is instant. (just learned this today @seomoz)
If you release something, Google will index it as fast as possible. If that info gets duplicated Google will only count the first one indexed. Everyone else loses brownie points unless they trackback/link back to the main article (first indexed).
This can really be one of many reasons.
This may be a case of unnatural link building. You have 617 links of which 594 are anchored "<a class="clickable title link-pivot" title="See top linking pages that use this anchor text">l arginine". Its best practice to use variations of your keywords when linking in.</a>

How long has this site been live? was it ranking well in the past (statically) and now its starting to lose ranking (de-indexing)?
Have you checked your webmaster tools?
That would be having it twice, I would not recommend that. However that's debateable. IMO one mention per keyword in the URL is plenty. For regional links focus on building links locally (by area/regional physical location) to each page.
Building relationships with people in your field is key, Google + is very good for this: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/5-tips-for-managing-community-on-google-plus. Mention people in your niche, comment on their posts, give them value. Then ask them to share your content/tweets etc...
Micro sites are separate from your primary domain. If you want to target Region Golf, Region Dining, Region Events, you domains should be submitted something like this:
This is one site.
www.regionalsite.com/ <- primary
www.regioanlsite.com/Region-Golf <- page 1 with key (build diverse links using "regional golf")
www.regioanlsite.com/Region-Dining <- page 2 with key www.regionalsite.com/Region-Events <- page 3 with key
In this case you submit you sitemap to Google, listing all your pages.
This would be a micro site:
www.RegionGolf.com
The domain is completely different f rom the micro site. No association with www.regionalsite.com/, so it can not be included in the sitemap.
MIcro sites all have a unique URL. They are built to target one keyword each.
This example you give is a standard site, Sub-Domain/Page (include broad keyword here). You can make as many pages as you want. However, building these pages will spread you juice around so choose your keywords carefully.

Example of a micro site.
I have a site for lets say chocolate: www. chocolate.com im number 1 for chocolate in Google which is the only keyword I am after. For the example there are no more keys to go after "chocolate". So I want to rank 2 times for chocolate. So I build a micro site targeting "chocolate" the domain could be www:1chocolate.com
I would not build another page called chocolate within my ranking domain.

Not sure what you mean by duplicate content. Every title should be unique and then you will not have to worry about duplicate titles.
Duplicare content means that Google has indexed content more than one time. Google does not like duplicate content on a page.
Google will look at the first content as the original and index it as the original. Anything after that is duplicate content. If you want to use someone else's content be sure to link back to the original article.
They may have not been found yet.
Are they over optimizing? Many people say over optimizing is having you keyword in you H1, title, description, footer, etc. Other believe that it is having way too many keywords embedded within way too much content.
For ex. If a site has 10,000 words on their home page they can add their keyword 1,000 times in that text and only have a 10% ratio of keyword to content.
To think that Google will punish every site for having their keywords on their H1,Title, Body, Footer, etc. is not realistic IMO, because too many sites have been built like this and many good sites will be demoted.
You can report them to google. However, you are better off focusing on your own results. Spend your time building local links to your site.
I believe you are referring to googles robot.txt which is designed to have google skip a page while indexing. I dont think you want to do this. However, I checked the backlinks (anchored text to your site) and seems like you have not built any incoming links using your keyword "Milwaukee SEO" . I would recommend just building some good links to using "Milwaukee SEO"

Google Analytics can only determine referred traffic if a site has Google Analytics installed on it. Sites that do not have GA installed will not be able to see any of these stats.

Many link spamming sites have detected, there have been many website receiving warning messages in their Google web tools to deindex these links, etc..
My theory is that Google will not punish sites for backlinks. However, they manually check for "link farming sites" and warn anyone affiliated with them, just in case these links were built from a competitor. This way they can eliminate all the "Bad Link Farm" sites and not hurt anyone who does not deserve to be hurt. Google is not going to give us all their information to rank, they dont want us to rank. They want us to PPC. However, they do want to have the best SERPs available. I call it Google juggling!

Blog networks that are being punished, did they take posts that are not relevant or helpful and spread them? What if they only add your content (links) to relevant blogs where users can benefit?

Competition difficulty level only shows sites on first pages SERPs. For example: If wiki is up there it throws the number off or just makes it look way more challenging.

No there is not. There are plenty of keywords out there with huge traffic volume and no competition. For the most part profitable keywords are more challenging.
lets say I have 2 sites (two companies I am doing SEO for) one is for a Taxi service and one is for a limo service. Would me offering my taxi traffic a link to a limo service be black hat? **no way! ** Would google look at that link as a bad link? I highly doubt it!
Kink building is great and works as long as the sources are relevant.
Googles goals are to make money. in order to make money they need the best search engine. In order to have the best search engine they need the best SERP's. The only way have the best SERP's is via user interaction. If the user likes the link so will Google.
Buying links to benefit for SEO is frowned on from google. However, if your buying to gain real traffic to your site such as links within a directory it is not a bad thing.
For example, I can pay yellow pages (Just an example... I would never do this) for their best tier package and it will not affect my results, in fact it can help them.
Have you ever used a service like this? Do they own the sites that publish your links? Are the links being placed in relevant places?
Im not sure about Googles views on automations. I have used some programs to automate certain things. You can automate things as long as you do it in the white hat way. For example I can use a link building tool to find potential link partners, instead of blasting one email to all of them, I analyze their site and manually contact them.
Im asking this question to get opinions on this type of service, Wanted to see if anyone has ever used it, or something similar to it. Does it work? Is it reliable? (I would say I am 75% agains it)
How is it black hat? You still create your own content, they just distribute it for you (getting you the links).
This can easily fall into a gray area.

This change is probably because your audience is starting to like your content.
This company claims to have a good tool. To me it looks like spam. They claim to automate link building and they claim to use Googles Panda to their advantage.
This site does however use link diversity, not sure about how relevant the sources are for each keyword...

Hello John and welcome. You came to the right place.
I would recommend building links from local places to you keywords. If you are building links for your keywords within New York City, get links within New York City to point at your site. Definitely anchor your keywords, best to use diffirent variations of the keywords it looks more natural.
There are many ways to build links, my favorite is guest blogging. But for every niche there wil be a good strategy that works. You can refer to SEOmoz blog to learn more on link building and how to.
Also you might want to do some AB testing to check if your uses like your site. AB testing can be done within googles webmaster tools.
I would have to agree with Brent, this is definitely unnatural and I would recommend changing it back ASAP.
The way I see it google will not punish anyone for external links coming in.. Because if they did my competition would be eliminated in days : )
I dont believe Google punishes sites for external links, they cant. If they did my competition would be F'd.
All the warnings and fuss is about "over stuffing keywords" on a page or doing other unnatural activity on a page.
Yes keep it under 10% keyword to content ratio. This is what PR web recommends for their articles, I am sure it is safe and applies to all pages on the web.
Keyword Stuffing, having too many keywords on one page. Anything that looks unnatural on site. You can not really get punished for offsite because you can not control it. Your competitors would have a field day on you if off site stuff could be penalized for.
I am able to do keyword research for any term that I want,. However, I want to see results for broad keywords in local areas....
For example.. Hair cut Miami may get 100 searches a month.
How can I find the number (x) of search volume for "Hair Cut" searched within Miami, FL.?
If I add the 100 and the other number (x) it may be worth the while to build.

I agree with this... Just wanted to add that if you do have to use a ton of links you can always add a bunch of content around it. Google looks at percentage, how many links does a page have versus how much content.

I would not use this for over the phone lol... Only to tap into search engine traffic, lets say I found a term that is highly competitive. However, the rankers are not optimizing for that specific query. Its only highly competitive because these sites are authoritative for other relavent keywords.
Example.
I want to rank for the keywords "how can i be sure this is true"
When I type this in a search engine, lets say I get youtube/ebay/etsy/etc... for the SERP (highly authoritative according to SEOmoz but they are not targeting the long tail question)
Would I be better off buying a domain canthisbe.com? I dont see how this makes sense....
I am not 100% about hyphens. However, I noticed that most sites use hyphens in all their sub pages. (Just look at the URL of this thread http://www.seomoz.org/q/domain**-**length) I think that Hyphens are bad on a root domain.

From my understanding exact domain helps (no telling how much). By exact I am implying [iwanttogetonthefirstpageofgoogle] for the term "I want to get on the first page of google"

Let me give you an example..
If I want to rank for "what is going on in france right now" it is longer then 15 characters and no one will want to type it. If my domain is whatisgoingoninfrancerightnow.com it will help my SEO rankings, or do the search engines look at the length and say nonono?
The link you provided led me to another question. It recomends not using hyphens, are they talking about the main domain only www.my-domain.com, or main domain and extension www.mydomain.com/my-domain?

I have been doing some research on onsite optimization and I hit a dead end, need some help with OnSite....
These three I get for the most part... (If you would like to add anything please do)
Title optimization - needs to be unique with keywords included under 90 words
Meta description - needs to be unique with keywords included under 150 words
Meta keywords – all keywords
Questions begin here...
H1 headings – Should this be the first thing the spider crawls? Should they be unique? Is there a penalty for having this content the same on every page? (H1s are under the logo at the top of every one of my sites pages)
H2-H6 headings – Should they be unique? Is there a penalty for having this content the same on every page?
Bold text – does this matter for SEO?
Italic text - does this matter for SEO?
Link anchor text – These are the same on most pages. However, most of these links are part of the navigation, does this matter for SEO? is this duplicate? how does the search engine analyze this data?
Image alt attributes – I have the share image buttons on my site (Facebook, Twitter, etc...) and they have the same alt attributes on each page. Does this matter for SEO?
Body text – I found a competitor site that’s ranking #1 for a key term. This competitor has 11,106 words in their body with the keyword mentioned 29 times (0.8%). They placed all this text in a small scroll down on the bottom of their page. Its strange how they included it. Please review attached image.

It can be one of many reasons, however if you want to be sure... The SEOmoz RankTracker will suffice correct placements.
I have a new customer and he wants me to clear up the SERP for his branded keyword, the SERP currently has his site and two other sites related to him under his result... Under that is bad reviews and old reports. My client does own the top spot (#1) for his branded name.

I was thinking to push all these to the first page, this will clear up some of those bad reviews.

I wouldn't underestimate Googles "Hints"...
The article I mentioned explains the differences between overstuffing keywords and keeping it clean. Keeping a keyword to content ratio of 3-7% should keep you in the "safe" SEO area (for now).
Although you are correct... there is still more then one way to skin a chicken.
But the spiders still run on the page and read the canonical link, however with the robot text the spiders will not.
Yes, but Rel=Canonical does not block a page it only tells google which page to follow out of two pages.The question was how to block, not how to tell google which link to follow. I believe you gave credit to the wrong answer.
