My website traffic is growing by about 1% a week. It has a fairly stable page views/visitor of about 1.69. There's normally very little variability in this As we sell an industrial product. Today page views jumped by 50% and so did page views/visitor but visitor numbers stayed the same. I dont have a useful hypothesis to explain this. Analytics shows me that the traffic source, country of origin and pages viewed are pretty much the same as normal. There's been no substantive change to the site (today we changed the text in a widget to link to a new page - and no one visited it). It doesn't look like 1 person has gone through the whole site as that would skew the distribution of page views by country So why would user behavour suddenly change? I'll look at it for the rest of the week but in 7 years of looking after this website I haven't seen anything like this before.

I'm designing an exhibition stand at the moment and am going to be putting QR codes that link to a technical specification on the products. The question is - do I just allow them to download the pdf or do I ask for a name and email address before they can do that. As its an exhibition stand I should get the business cards anyway - but to know exactly what products each person is interested in would help I'm not sure how many people use QR codes in Asia, have a QR code readers..... and would adding the email request just be too much? Whats your opinion? The product is an industrial one and mainly engineers and procurement types from the oil and gas industry will be visiting the stand.

I got am 803 error this week on the Moz crawl for one of my pages. The page loads normally in the browser. We use cloudflare. Is there anything that I should do or do I wait a week and hope it disappears? 803 Incomplete HTTP response received Your site closed its TCP connection to our crawler before our crawler could read a complete HTTP response. This typically occurs when misconfigured back-end software responds with a status line and headers but immediately closes the connection without sending any response data.

We've just signed up to an affiliate scheme because we were sending links to them because we thought their product was valuable to our users. So we now have to go through and nofollow all of these links over 100's of pages. Is there any way that do a crawl of the site to identify all links to a particular site and tell me what page they are on and whether they are nofollow/follow?

The page in question has been there for about 5 years and has about 80 followers. It is for a business that sells steel plate (B2B) and everything is totally compliant with Facebook T&C as far as I can tell. It's been unpublished with the statement "Your Page has been unpublished and it cannot be published again." We did an appeal about 6 weeks ago and heard absolutely nothing.... Generally we got no likes, no comments and reached about 20 people with each post. So I am lost as to why we were banned and lost as to what we do next It's fine if they want to unpublish - it's their site - what's frustrating is the arbitrariness, the lack of information as to why it was banned and lack of communication. So we are the agent for an industrial company. They don't have a great website (well its pretty but doesn't rank) and have 5 product pages with a variety of products on each. We've taken those products and turned them into 50 pages with good on page optimisation. Now they've just agreed to give us a link on each page and I'm trying to figure out what the best text and link will be. Is this the best approach or are there other better ways of approaching the problem. It's worth noting that there is a total separation of control and ownership of the websites. I'm also starting to work with them to improve their on page optimisation and get links from their parent company to increase link juice
