  • When utilizing certain password manages, the tab order on the login page is set in such a way that the username fills in and then where the password should go is the Create an Account link.  Thus, the password is not filled in and the user is brought to the Create an Account page.

  • When I run monthly reports, it looks like keywords are down, when they are actually up compared to the previous month.  Is there a way to get the monthly reports to show how many positions up or down a keyword is compared to the prior run report?

    matomo

As GA4 is not easily usable for all clients in the EU, it would be great if you could offer a Matomo integration. Matomo has recently been more and more popular and is used by a lot of companies, that are required to adhere to EU standards in data privacy.

  • Hello all, As title reads, are there any plans for a Moz connector to Google Data Studio to help automate reporting? I'm surprised this doesn't exist already because Data Studio is so heavily used. Thanks in advance. Simon

  • Have 10 separate campaigns currently set up with you guys across 2 companies, but they all come in on different days of the week which makes my admin quite hard work. I'd love to be able to change this if possible so they all come in on Monday and I can plan my team's priorities and strategies for the week. I wouldn't even mind missing out on a week or reporting to solve this. Is this possible yet, or are we still in the same place as we were in 2013? Any and all answers, or little workarounds, appreciated!

  • Working across several campaigns I track a lot of different keywords. Not all of these keywords receive the same level of attention from me all at the same time. At the moment I use a label of "Watchlist" to track the most important keyword terms, but the limitation of this is I have to check each account separately. It might be nice and useful to have a consolidated watchlist of important keyword terms which spans across all accounts, so I can quickly see at a glance the snapshot of those most important keywords.

  • First of all has anyone else not received a response from the help team, ive sent 4 emails the oldest one is a month old, and one of our most used features on moz on demand crawl to find broken links doesnt work and its really frustrating to not get a response, when we're paying so much a month for a feature that doesnt work. Ok rant over now onto the actual issue, on our crawls we're just getting 429 errors because our server has a DOS protection and is blocking MOZ's robot, im sure it will be as easy as whitelisting the robots IP, but i cant get a response from MOZ with the IP. Cheers, Fergus

  • We have 5 websites, each targeted at a different geography. They are all in English, but targeted per country (e.g. US, Canada, UK, Australia). And we've properly implemented hreflang tags on each page, with the US site being the x-default, and with each country-specific page having a self-referencing hreflang tag as well as individual hreflang tags pointing to the other country-specific versions. All seems to be working properly with the search engines. But, each week in our Moz Pro campaigns, Moz reports the pages as "duplicate content". It seems that Moz does not regard the hreflang tags when deciding if content is duplicate or not. I'm not 100% sure that's what's causing Moz to report them as duplicate, but it's my best guess. To date, I've been marking these as "ignore". But, that creates two problems. First, we have new pages all the time, and so this gets to be laborious. Second, it makes it somewhat likely we might miss a real duplicate content issue. Can someone confirm whether Moz should be looking at hreflang tags before considering pages as dupliacte? And possibly offer any suggestions to us if Moz doesn't do that?

  • my error in dashboard: **Moz was unable to crawl your site on Jul 23, 2020. **Our crawler was banned by a page on your site, either through your robots.txt, the X-Robots-Tag HTTP header, or the meta robots tag. Update these tags to allow your page and the rest of your site to be crawled. If this error is found on any page on your site, it prevents our crawler (and some search engines) from crawling the rest of your site. Typically errors like this should be investigated and fixed by the site webmaster i thing edit robots.txt how fix that?

  • Hi I am coming from Ahrefs and Moz plans need serious update about the limits especially rank tracking. Ahrefs is providing more keywords $0.08/keyword (5000 keywords for the advanced plan) and update interval of 3 days. Moz large plan is $0.13/keyword  with intervals of 1 week. Can this be looked into? Hopefully Moz can improve the limits for keywords ranking/tracking. In 2020 where many rank tracking tools provide daily update, 1 week is a bit ridiculously long. Hopefully Moz can make some improvement in this area,

  • I have hundreds of errors for the same three things. The URL is too long. Currently the categories are domain.com/product-category/name main product/accessory product/
-Do I eliminate somehow the product category? Not sure how to fix this. 2)  It has all of my category pages listed as archives showing duplicates. I don't know why, as they are not blog posts, they hold products on them. I don't have an archived version of this. How do I fix this? 3. It is saying my page speed is slow. I am very careful to optimize all my photos in PhotoShop. Plus I have a tool on the site to further compress. I just went with another host company that is supposed to be faster. Any ideas/ I would so appreciate your help and guidance. All my best to everyone, be safe and healthy.

  • I have an opportunity to take over a massive domain name list (several thousand). If at all possible, I'd really love to not have to search each keyword individually in the tool and map out the priority score for each. Is there just a way to view the keywords by highest priority scores? Then potentially download the csv and alphabetize to help me narrow in on domains that would be the most worthwhile to develop? I know it sounds like a big ask, and likely not possible, but never hurts to at least ask about it. Thanks!

  • We are launching a new module that will involve paid advertorial along with unpaid articles.  Does Moz have a tool that will help us with optimizing these articles for the English speaking Hong Kong market? We are not interested in optimizing for the US or other markets as people there would not be searching for the content we are producing so the optimization would not be very relevant. Example: https://hongkong.asiaxpat.com/other/263101/guide-to-buying-and-riding-a-motorcycle-in-hong-kong/

  • I have accepted a seat on my managers subscription to help look into our website and the analytics part specifically but every time I try to access wither the keyword explorer or any other of the analytics part of the website it appears that there is a broken link and will just show a white screen with only the headers and footers intact.
Could someone please let me know how to resolve the issue?
    Kind regards,
    Olivia Houghton.

  • When I use the keyword tool, I'd like to be able to set the suggestions list to only show keywords below a certain a level of difficulty score. I know that I can click on a word to see it's difficulty score but that process is tedious. It doesn't seem like there is a direct way to do this. Has anyone developed an efficient indirect process for this? Has MOZ given any thought to including a filter for Difficulty score similar to the filter available for monthly volume?

  • Hi, due to security measures (which i imagine a lot of enterprise clients are starting to use now) we're very restrictive of automated traffic coming to our websites... however we're also blocking the mozbot. Will Moz have a fixed IP address/range or reverseDNS look up approach that can be used in the future? thanks!

  • I'm trying to set up a custom report that will track my e-commerce website's authority. I've already added the Domain Authority module, but I can't find a Page Authority module. (There are options to track the page score or grade, but this appears to be very different from Page Authority--whereas Page Authority is a holistic score, page score/grade seems to focus only on page content.) Is it possible to track Page Authority on a custom report? If possible, I'd like to track the following pages: Page Authority of my homepage, compared to my competitors' homepages Page Authority of each of my 4 product pages, compared to my competitors' product pages

  • When using Moz Keyword Explorer to search for my ranking keywords is there any way to see the ranking keywords for a directory or folder on a site? For example: if a blog is located at a subdomain, I can see all the ranking keywords for the blog by selecting subdomain and searching for https://blog.example.com. However, I would like to be able to search for all of a blog's ranking keywords if the blog URL is something like https://example.com/blog/ instead. If this is not feature, can I request its addition? Thank you!

  • I would like to retrieve a campaign's Search Visibility score, and preferably historical too, in an automated fashion. However, as far as I know the API has no access to this. Is there something I'm missing? If not, is there a formula I can use to calculate this score?

  • It seem that having the ability to Add users to your account and limit which campaigns they have access to, has been a big feature request for several years now. Is there an actual roadmap/ETA to implement this? I love Moz but I have no use for 10 additional users if I can't limit what campaigns they receive updates on.

  • Dear community, I have a question about "Site Crawl" > "Crawler Warnings" > "Meta Noindex" reports. I see 3.6K errors with all the same url base: /register?url={{xxxxxxxx}} The page have the following robots meta tag: 1. Can i exclude some urls from crawling by moz-spider bot? If yes, how?
    2. Can i use the 'mark as fixed' or 'ignore' functionality for all urls in once? Now, i have to execute the action 36 times to 'ignore' all 3600 errors. Hope, someone can help me 🙂

  • I am looking for a tool that will show my how my competitors rank for keywords across regions. Can MOZ help with this? I know right now I can add their website and export a list of terms they rank for, but it would really help me to see how that number fluctuates and changes across the globe. Any solutions?

  • The new Moz errors for missing H1 tags align with the timing of the new Moz DA. We have not changed anything onsite nor are these tags implemented dynamically. Both desktop and AMP version of each page have an H1. Example page: Google Maps Marketing Google Maps Marketing to Promote Your Business Might this be a bug with the new Moz DA rollout?

  • Where can one submit a feature request for Moz, see all the other ones that have been submitted, and make our preferences known? For those of you reading this question, I suspect there is no inventory of feature requests accessible to non-Mozzers because I have occasionally asked to have something added and been told my request would be passed along versus "go here and log it". I'm asking the question in case one does exist and I'm just not aware of it. That said, if you think this would be valuable, please comment and let Moz know.

  • Hypothetical question - Let's say I sell tax preparation software and I want to see the keywords that "turbotax.com" ranks highest for.  Based on that list I might want to optimize for similar keywords on my site. But if I use Keyword Explorer, select "Root Domain", and enter "turbotax.com" as the root domain, the first 200 or so keywords in the list have the word "turbo".  None of those interest me.  Can I exclude certain keywords (like "turbo") from the list? Thanks.

  • Hello everyone! I came to my attention that I've been outranked in the Moz's community rankings. It is known that there are some issues about it.
Also I've reported it some time ago (HERE) that there were discrepancies in the community rankings.
As I've know the latter, I waited a few days to check whether it corrects until posting this.
Also, couldn't find any inciden in the Moz Health page. Well, nothing more to add. Just some pics attached to justify and clarify. Thanks!

    www.roger-bot.com/rogers-diary/sites-ive-crawled?p2
    www.roger-bot.com/rogers-diary/sites-ive-crawled?p3
    www.roger-bot.com/rogers-diary/sites-ive-crawled?p4
    www.roger-bot.com/rogers-diary/sites-ive-crawled?p5
www.roger-bot.com/rogers-diary/sites-ive-crawled?p6 This would create 5 duplicate titles in the moz report Is there a quick way to filter these out?

  • I have a disallow entry in my robots file which is /*src= So I have urls that look like www.website.co.uk/example?value=1&src=2 I would expect these URLs to be blocked. However both Moz and AHREFS have these in the crawl logs www.website.co.uk/example?value=1 It is as if the bots are reading the first parameter but being blocked when they reach the second and logging part of the URL. Is this standard behavior for Roger (mozbot) or Ahrefs bot. Does google act in the same way?

  • Everything I've seen using Moz has been great, but there's one thing I can't figure out how to do. All I want to see is some kind of overview or display of my site's internal link architecture, but there doesn't appear to be anything like that in any of the Moz tools? Am I missing it, or do they just not have anything for that?

  • Is anyone aware of a setting in the MozBar which would highlight your website within SERPs? Or, even more exciting, display a number on the bar when looking at a SERP, showing your best current position for that query (in real time)? If not, it'd be interesting to know your thoughts on the idea? Great for quick checks and references or would it discourage people from staying vigilant in the SERPs and keeping an eye on the competition? (Note: we do have MOZ Pro and are aware that it does something similar. I'm thinking more for a quick check of those difficult targets where you're not hitting the first couple of pages).

  • Hi All, Recently i've noticed that Moz can no longer crawl any of my wbsites that are behind cloudflare. After speaking to CF support, we have come to the conclusion that a recent change by CF to force SNI for all SSL domains is the issue. As this is likely to affect almost everyone using Cloudflare could anyone please confirm this? In the mean time, one of the websites currently blocked is on CF enterprise, so we've requested SNI be turned off. Will test crawl again when thats done to confirm SNI is the issue.
