Is anyone else having problems with this? Every search I do seems to throw up an error in the traffic fields.

Hi,

Yes, there is a known issue at the moment. The Moz Team are aware of the problem and working to resolve it. Updates will be provided via Twitter, so if you follow @SEOmoz you will know when it has been resolved.

Hi, I'm just digging through Moz pro at the moment, and really like the true competitor feature, but would like to be able to see the keywords our competitors rank for and we don't, rather than just the overlapping ones. Is this possible at all? Thanks

How do you explain this in this Keyword Difficulty Report?

Hello here, I am trying to understand how my site virtualsheetmusic.com can better compete for the keyword "sheet music download" where we used to be 3rd until a few months ago, and now we are at the 5th spot. But here is my specific question: I can't find an explanation why two of our competitors are ranked before us at the 3rd and 4th spot. Please, look at the attached image (very wide) which shows the Keyword Difficulty Report for this keyword. You can also download a PDF of it here below: http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/storage/keyword-sheet-music-download.pdf We are at the 5th spot, and the two competitors highlighted in pink are the ones I am talking about: I am trying to understand why they are ranking better than us, despite our metrics look much better than theirs. In fact, if I look at the metrics in the report, I can't find an explanation to justify their outrank against us, so there must be something else that the report is missing. Keywords with a city suffix

Hi Pros, Here is our question / dilemma... Context/Background _Our company has 41 offices around the US and Europe; _ _We (our SEO) teams results are based on someone in a specific postcode/zipcode opening Chrome/IE/FF and searching using Google/Bing/Yahoo _ _(keyword) + (city) _ i.e. Ice cream Manhattan or Computer services Manhattan Our methodology is - (a) Choose an office (zipcode), identify the territory city names required for that Office's SEO goals. (b) begin to develop the strategy and execute (c) wait 1-2 months and test Question Using SEOmoz we are not sure HOW we could even begin to track the keywords?

How do i target keywords locally

I am working for a cosmetic surgeon with clinics in three geographic places. I would like to give him specific keywords that he can go after successfully. When I use the keyword tool with terms like botox cosmetic staten island or breast augmentation tarrytown, I get competitive rankings like 36% or 37%, but it doesnt tell me if there are only a few searchers doing this per month. In Google's Adwords tool, it thinks that the number fo searchers with these same terms is too small to measure, literally giving me back a dash (= insignificant traffic). However, it I use Google Adwords with more general terms, say breast augmentation surgeon, and get a medium/110 global monthly searches, when I come back to SEOmoz tool and assess the same keyword, I find that the traffic picks up doctor sites in Arizona and elsewhere, where clearly no one who wants cosmetic surgery in new York is going to fly to Arizona for it. So, how do I ensure a balance between targeting too little traffic but including the names of specific towns, and targetting more general terms but not having local prospects. Has anyone tackled this in a specific medical niche?

SEOmoz crawler bug?

I just noticed that a few of my campaigns have number of pages crawled 1. Can someone tell me what this is.... from 5 campaigns 2 have only one pages crawled from which one is an online shop with over 2000 products 🙂

Crawl test tool from SEOmoz - which URLs does it actually crawl?

I am using for the first time the crawl test tool from SEOmoz and I do not really understand which URLs the tool is going to crawl. First, it says "enter any subdomain" --> why can´t I do the crawl for the root domain? Second it says "we'll crawl up to 3,000 linked-to pages" --> does that mean that the tool crawls all internal links that it can find on the given domain? Thanks for your help!

Why Is SEOMOZ No Longer crawling All Of My Site

Hi all, I joined Seomoz over a month ago and Roger has been crawling all of the pages on the site approx 20 pages. Through out the last few weeks I have been working on the errors and notices identified by Roger. However, this week Roger has only re-crawled 1 page and is not picking up all the other pages. Has any one come across this problem. can you recommend any thing to resolve it? Many thanks in advance....

Onpage Optimization Tool - Optimize it? :)

I've been using your on-page optimization tool allot lately, I must say it simply is a great checklist to run a page through and it forces you to think about it a bit more and you notice stuff that you might otherwise have overlooked (read forgot) . But! ('cause there's always a but..) I have noticed a few issues: it could be optimized to recognize plural endings, given this is a hard one since there's allot of languages.. but It would be awesome if it did.. right? (just like the SE's do) I would be more then willing to help with the Danish. Since you already specify what version of google you wanna target eg: ".DK" it might not be all that hard to implement plural? now that we are mentioning other languages.. It would be equally sweet if it would see the correlation between Ø and OE, Å and ÅÅ and so on.. (scandinavian chars for those of you who don't know) again the SE's do For German letters I expect (not sure though, I'm not German, I speak it a bit though, so if your German feel free to correct me 🙂 that the SE's would see the letter Ö as an OE.. Ü as UE, Ä as an AE and so on. Why is the above important? well because that many still use those versions of the letters in URL's. Even though all browsers/mail clients now a'days are able to understand punycode.
