Egol, yep certainly is. Unfortunately as it's my area as well, it's proving quite challenging for me at the moment as well.
It's often hard to stay away from the black hat 'easy' methods. But Rome wasn't built in a day was it!

Yes, it certainly is. I'm always searching and hoping for a 'quick win' strategy, but nothing can really beat earnt links unfortunately!

No, just no!
Automated software is never really a good idea and although it may result in short term gain, the long term prospects are not very good at all.Concentrate on creating high quality links that require a human to put effort it. 1 high quality link will out shine 1,000 spammy links

hi, its me again. I bought 2 domains for my new site I want to build. My keyword is: "BabyHazelGames" babyhazelgames.land ( for me it sounded like "the land of baby hazel" etc ) PlayHazel.com ( short .com domain, still says what the sites about ) If u check first page for this keyword u see most of the sites are EMD-s or filler partial EMD ( on .com-s)Someone told me to buy a EMD since I fight with EMD-s on first page, and its the only way I have a chance! I bought The games license, theme license and all of these. That was alot of money, and I dont want to put all my money and work on the wrong domain name. Brand Search Results- how do you make sure spammy links don't hurt your brand
We are seeing a spammer start ranking #4 for our branded search result on google. This could potentially be hurting our brand. Any suggestions that have worked for you recently? For more context we already have: Create Social profiles (Linkedin, G+, FB etc) which are engaged and frequently updated Analyzed Domain Authority, Links and recency of the spammy article. The domain and the page authority seems weak, and the spammy article is dated Dec of last year Looked at various posts on http://moz.com/community/q/reputation-management. Thanks in advance!

Can we use SEOMOZ to get insights/data on the members of a twitter list?
It would be so useful if we could get insights into the members of a twitter list in the same way we can get statistics on the people we search through the "search twitter bio" options (following/followers/RTs/Social Authority/etc). This is possible through the twitter api but it limits to 20 list member which is useless. Anyone know of a solution? Thanks!

Using Alt Text in stock photography good?
Hello, I got a client who told me that he bought his images from a stock photography website. I know it looks awful and all, but the client can't afford a photographer to get some decent pics. So, How positive it is to use Alt Text on images that aren't yours? The purpose of using alt text properly is to get traffic from an imaged based search right? So if the business shows up with some stock photography it looks kinda bad. Is it worth optimizing images in this case? Or just leave em without optimizing? Changing pics isn't an option. Thanks
