How many links should one create from a single IP proxy?

Hi,

I know that every linkbuilder needs to rotate proxies every now and then but then this question seems to bother me and I can't seem to shake it off.

Just how many links should one create from a single IP proxy?

Is it 1 IP proxy is to 100 links?

Is it 1 IP proxy is to 200 links?

Please help. Thanks!

Why go to buy a cheap premium proxy for this kind of task? You can add 20 links per proxy but you had a lot of proxies. Check this guy http://www.premiumproxylist.com/

I would like to refer on the approval rate of linkbuilding on blogs (blog commenting) and the enormous difference of using a proxy versus not using one.

Submission might be way too different as compared to commenting. ^_^

Assuming I am not creating a link scheme but link building through content and outreach to webmasters, what are the odds that I will create a link on the same IP address twice?

You mean to say you create all your links from a single IP?! Isn't that dangerous?

Your idea of link building may be very different from mine. Why in the world would you need to rotate proxies while link building? Please help me understand.

Many of our best links are to our old domain. Problem?

Hi, around 7 years ago the organization I'm with switched their domain name. When doing link analysis some of our best links are to the old domain including a followed link from an article on the BBC news site. The old domain has been 301 redirecting to the new domain for years. Is it worth the time to contact the sites that are linking to the old domain? Or, will all or the majority of the link juice be given to the newer domain with the 301 redirect? Thanks!

Spammy Links in MOZ but when I go to the external link I can't find a link to us

I was going to try to contact webmasters to see if they would remove some of our spammy links. I see alot of them in MOZ but when you go to the site our anchor text is not there. Is this good? How often does MOZ refresh external links. Hi All, Noticed this link in opensiteexplorer. Its not marked as no-follow, but not sure if this link would pass any value? http://goafrica.about.com/od/southafrica/a/selfdrivesa.htm Click on any external link, it takes you to a "preview" page from within the main website. Is this a false positive? As in it shows as a follow link, but when you actually click it, it doesnt redirect to the website. Any thoughts on this? Greg

Which is better - A) links from multiple IP addresses, or B) Links with more associated social signals?

If you had to choose: A) 100 links contained in posts on 100 PR2* blogs, all on separate IP addresses, where none of the posts had associated social signals, or B) 100 links contained in posts within a single PR2* blog (single IP address), where each of the posts had 20 associated social signals, Which would you choose to increase your SERP performance? *I chose PR2 so that PageRank would not be a factor in the decision.

So I ran into a site that was not ranking 4 days ago and has over 2 million links to it on some keywords. My guess is this is a link bomb, but the issue is this is pushing one of my sites down. Does anyone know a good way to over come a bomb like this?

So I ran http://www.riogrande.com/ into this site not that long ago and wanted to see if any other SEO's have an opinion on it. I've seen a Google bomb before, but the amount of links going into this URL is insane. The thing is how does one over come a Google Bomb? Do you just wait to see what Google does or do you just hope to rank under that URL? I should also note that it appears that all the keywords to it are relevant to the sites content. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Creating profiles just to get a link is black hat?

Hi, i have a competitor that is creating profiles in sites that passes ranks in links and putting some links with good anchor text in the bio field. This can be considered a black hat seo? Hi guys! You must get many questions about external links... This is mine. If I get an external link with good authority ranking in google, but it is not relevant to the site (for example, my site is about marquees, but we could get links from schools, which are our main clients, or any type of client) Does that affect negatively somehow to the rankings? or there is good value on it even is not related?
