4XX (Client Error) Double URL Link Problem

Hi,

I have a wordpres site and have 140 4XX (Client Error) errors such as:

http://www.campervanhire.com/advertise/http:%2F%2Fwww.campervanhire.com%2Fadvertise%2F

http://www.campervanhire.com/australia/camper-van-hire-australia/http:%2F%2Fwww.campervanhire.com%2Faustralia%2Fcamper-van-hire-australia%2F

The bulk are all the same problem, different urls but all duplicated with %2F at the end.

Not sure how they were generated or how fix this?
Any info would be great!

I say you have a plugin or somthing doing this.

when encoded,

why irt is being encoded I can not tell without your souce code. but i would disable my plugins untill i find wicth one is doing it

Updating Content - Make changes to current URL or create a new one?

I'm working with a content team on a job search guide for 2019. We already have a job search guide for 2018. Should we just edit the content of the job search guide for 2018 to make it current for 2019, which means the job search guide for 2018 would not exist anymore or should we keep the 2018 guide and just create a new web page for the 2019 guide that way both exist. We currently rank very well for the 2018 job search guide.

No URL for my blog?!!!

I use a website provider for my website. Sadly, although it has an integrated blog, the blog posts title does not get included in the URL. So now, with my limited knowledge of SEO I'm wondering if blogging is still worth it? Any thoughts Greatly appreciated! 🙂

URL Structure for Blog

Hi guys, Hope you are all doing well today. I have a questions with regards to our blog URL structure. The URL for the blog is /blog - however when you click on a blog post the "/blog" disappears completely and is replaced by the title of the post. So it is ".com/title-of-post" for example. Would it be better to keep the blog subdomain in the URL so it is ".com/blog/title-of-article" Any insight would be appreciated. My thoughts are that surely the second option above is ideal? Relaunch - How to find URL's to keep

Hi, During the process of redefining our business I'm planning a relaunch of our website. My goal is to restructure my content and URL structure. I have a lot of non relevant and not ranked content. Duplicate external links?

I have been guest posting at a variety of reputable blogs in my niche. I generally write once or twice a month and have a bio link with a link to my blog. I'm wondering if multiple links from the same domain (but different pages) helps, or if there are some diminishing returns here. Should I only be writing one post for them? Of course, there are other non-SEO benefits too, because these are reputable sites. But I'm wondering how this helps my SEO? Thanks in advance!

Keep or remove a link directory with 700 entries?

Hi, I've a site which has a link directory included. About 700 entries. Each entry has an own page with a title, description and of course a link to the extern site. The link is not marked as "nofollow". The site is only linking to similar / relevent other sites. Now the seo question: Keep the link directory as is? Add a nofollow to the links? Remove the link directory? (and about 700 pages) Best wishes, Georg.
