How does backlinks from websites with duplicate contect affect your rank in search engine? Is there any negative factor?

Not from the duplicate content per se, but I assume the websites are low quality and wouldnt give you benefit in the first place.

Backlinks not indexed on MOZ

Why our backlinks do not show up? Even GSC shows a good amount of our backlinks and other applications show too. But in the case of MOZ, it still shows 0 backlinks and 0 organic visibility. Don't you guys think this puts a user of your software way behind in terms of competition and real data? If my backlinks will be considered by MOZ, when will it be❓

Where should I centre my content Hubs?

I look after a manufacturing site which has a well structured architecture when it comes to our products. There is also a benefits section and an about section. In addition to managing the three main information sections I've also been setting up a blog with topical content divided into four categories (Built environment, Secondary glazing in practice, Treat of the month, Project profile). My question is, where do I position my content hubs? Having worked through Cyrus's 'How to Rank 25 Step Master SEO Blueprint', I've realized that my approach of simply linking back to main top level pages is at best arbitrary, at worst negative in terms of SEO. Would I be better off asking our designers to set up category landing pages within the blog that relevant new copy can be linked to (currently the blog is just set up without category landing pages and I categorize each post with a tag that is used to sort the posts into their respective location on the blogs homepage? Currently the blog is an option on the main sites top level navigation and I link relevant blog pieces to relevant areas within the site. Basically I'm struggling to understand how to implement Cyrus's recommendation to create themes with my current website structure. Can anyone help? Thanks Mozers

Should I continue adding new content on the website penalized by Google?

I have a website that is imposed partial action by Google due to unnatural links. We are in the process to clean up those links. At the same time, I want to add more content to the same website. My concern is whether the new content pages will be affected by Google's action as well. Should I wait until we finish the cleanup and get a green light from Google? In addition, will it be worth doing some on-page optimization on the pages that are affected by unnatural links and Google's penalty? Please advise. Thanks. John

Somebody embedded a link to one of my websites on the sidebar of her blog. It ends up hundreds of links from this blog. Will this type of links be considered unnatural links by Google? Backlinking unclarities.

Hello, I'm trying to get external links from different websites. http://www.meubels.uwpagina.nl/ is one of them. Now what I am wondering is that 95% of the links on that page arent paid links. The paid links are in bold. To get a link for free on that website you need to place a link on your page to that page. This is not alloud by google, and if you do so you will get a penalty. How do all those websites manage to do it? They obviously know it is not alloud, but still they managed somehow to do this without getting penalized. Can someone clarify this for me? Backlinks, how do you get them?

Recently, I listed our site on a few directory's which I deemed as not spammy and had good domain authority (competitors were using these). This was about 2 weeks ago and have not seen them come up as a backlink using open site explorer? I was wondering whether i'm missing something out here or does it take longer than 2 weeks to gain a backlink from a website? Thanks in advance.

What is the best pinging service for my backlinks?

I am looking for a good pinging service that indexes my backlinks fast. After doing some research I found linklicious, backlinksindexer and pingfarm among others. My quesiton: do those services still work and if yes, which one is the best one out there at the moment. Thanks for the help.
