Video Distribution Services
-
Are there any services to push videos across multiple sites? We are creating some testimonial videos and would like to distribute them out to all the major video sites. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to upload them one by one. What can you recommend or is there a better strategy here?

I'm looking at this from a linkbait type strategy. We want to disable embedding from all 3rd parties, but linking these 3rd party sites back to our main site and allowing visitors to embed from there. We do have channels setup on YouTube/Vimeo but don't really have the resources to brand out/optimize individual sites past that.
Our industry is heavily regulated so our CTA is incredibly subtle by design, it basically is directing the watcher to visit our site to learn more.
Thanks!

Question - when you say major video sites, do you mean like YouTube and Vimeo? I'm just curious why you'd want them to not be part of your own account/channel within each for better branding...which is part of the strategy.
First, what's your goal with the videos? And why would you want them to live outside of your hands (ie., have a third party manage and post, and I assume then also oversee all the title/description/tagging, etc.) when the best SEO would come from keeping it under your umbrella? While you may not think there's time to manage this on your own, what do you want to get out of it and then is that worth the trade off of losing the ties to your ownership?
(Granted there are a lot of variables to take into consideration - like if you have embedded links in the video that can drive viewers back to your website, and ultimately what the CTA for the videos include, etc.)

Can we use Youtube Videos of google webmaster on blog post?
Is it okay to embed YouTube videos of channel which we don't own? For example, I have written a blog on enabling event search in Google Analytics and Google Webmasters YouTube channel has a video based on those steps. I am looking to add that video in my blog.

Concerned over a small video snippet autoplaying on my homepage (Negative page load speed = Negative SEO)
I'm looking at embedding a short 20 second autoplay video to show as the background in a Jumbotron (I'm using Bootstrap) right below my navbar. This looks great and works well for branding ect, however I'm concerned the loading speed will be hit after crossing over from a static image (perhaps 300kb) to a video (perhaps 2MB) which could detrimentally hit my SEO (I also can't help but notice not many SEO minded websites have these autoplaying videos - Perhaps for this reason!) Does anyone have any experience with a similar issue? Is there anything I can do to compress the video right now to a similar file size to an image? I've set it up using a media query to not show on mobile/tablets. Sam

Adding social media to SEO service
Hello, I have been struggling to handle and recommend social media work from my clients to help with their rankings and online presence. Often, it is ignored; however, as everyone knows only so much benefit can be gained through directory listings and stellar on-page optimization. I am wondering if someone could lend a hand on how they take over the social media tweeting/blogging/content etc for a third party so that it is still authentic both to their clients, and also seemingly to Google? Any insight would be helpful! Thanks in advance!!!! 🙂

Domain Buying Service
I am looking for a service that handles clients who want to purchase domains that are owned and in use and someone wants to purchase them incognito. Does anyone know of (preferably have experience with) a service that will handle this type of domain purchase activity. An example would be if I knew of moz.com but wanted to buy it because I had invented a Moz machine that was worth zillions. I only want the .com and I do not want the owner to know who is purchasing.

What marketing/branding services can you recommend to get more awareness of my site?
I am a programmer, not a marketing or social media genius. It also takes A LOT of time to market your website properly. Are there services that people can recommend that can help get my site out there and known to people more. I am always working on the SEO part and that takes time to improve. Just looking for suggestions. Thank you!

Should I remove our videos from DotSub.com to try & boost our Wistia videos?
Okay all you video SEO lovers, I had a thought today that I thought would make an interesting question. I have been using the tools at DotSub.com to transcribe our videos. The tools are great, and even better, free. We have about 80 videos on DotSub and all of these videos are also on our YouTube channel. Once I've completed the transcription, I've been exporting the .srt file and uploading them to YouTube to replace the God-awful machine transcriptions (sorry Google, but they are baaaadddd). Anyway, sometimes our DotSub video will outrank the same YouTube video, sometimes not. The 80 videos on DotSub have amassed about 10,000 views and a couple of translations...which is nice, I guess? Recently, we've begun experimenting with Wistia. Here is a search term for which our YouTube and DotSub video results pretty much flood page 1: "studiolive webinar" All of the DotSub videos also exist as Wistia videos on our Website and blog. For obvious reasons, we would rather have our Wistia videos rank in those three positions which right now are dominated by the DotSub versions. Should I remove the content from DotSub in order to try to get the Wistia videos to rank instead? Or should I leave them all there? I should probably add that we do have Wistia videos that are outranking both Dotsub and Youtube versions of the exact same videos...so I know that's possible. I'm just wondering if by leaving all of these videos up at DotSub if we are cannibalizing our potential at ranking for videos that link back to our site? What do you think?

Best Way To Distribute Infographics?
Hello, I am looking to get into the benefits of link-building through using info-graphics, and I wondered if anyone knew of a good info-graphic distribution service. I know there has surely got to be a service out there like Prnewswire or PrWeb, only “designed for info graphics” instead of press releases. However, as of yet I have not been able to find anything. I am aware that there are info graphic directories out there and forums like myblogguest that allow you to post info graphics, and of course pinterest type sites. However, I have not found a dedicated info graphic syndication service yet. Does anyone know of a good one? Or perhaps just have other good advice with their success of marketing info-graphics?
