Impressions in Google SERP has declined from 3500 to 1600 after 5-25-2012\. Is it Penguin?

The visitors had declined from 270 to 150 visitors per day. Is this caused by the Google update Penguin? If so what can I do to solve the problem?

You need to have a look at your rankings and find out which keywords were driving that traffic. Once you find the keyword(s) that have fallen then you can make the assumption that it could be Penguin.
Although looking at your domain, it is an obvious keyword based domain which was cracked down on as well. Look into Analytics though before assuming Penguin.

Hi Sebastiaan, The Google Penguin update targeted 'black hat webspam', which affected the ranking orders on some SERPs.
If your site's rankings did not drop, the change in traffic is unlikely to be connected to the Penguin update. Did you experience a drop in your rankings?

I'm confused about the Spammy Structured Markup Penalty: "This site may not perform as well in Google results because it appears to be in violation of Google's Webmaster Guidelines." Thumbtack Blatantly Violating Google TOS?
Hi, We have a business registered on Thumbtack so we receive their newsletters. I'm aware that review sites offering a "badge" or verification logo which links back to your profile is nothing new. But the email I received from Thumbtack is a fairly blatant attempt to game Google for popular keywords. I was just curious on your thoughts about this. Impressions and Clicks down by 200% when everything was doing good
Hi, I started a wordpress website few weeks ago and at the beginning all i did is added about 5 posts almost without any content, only few pages had content, website hardly finished etc.. same time a i went on g+ and received some traffic from there plus about 300 g+ click on my website and i had 20-30 organic visits on a 2 weeks old website, which was not even half done and on top of that with very hard keywords!! Now 3-4 weeks in, I added content and constantly adding more, 1.2k g+ and other things as well like no duplicate titles as well and my impressions and clicks going down massively !! I mean barely 4-5 visits and only from random worthless keywords. I receive daily amount of g+ clicks, plus built some good links as well and getting traffic from there too and organic search is still dying out for me. Any idea??:(

Is this website being punished by Google?
Hi, I just took over the SEO for a friend of mine's website. Is this website being punished by Google? It has a strong link score, the homepage needs work as far as Key wording goes but it does not appear in Google's top 100 for any keyword. I am not sure that the last SEO company did some harm. How do I know what links are bad enough for the Google disavow tool?
I am currently working for a client who's back link profile is questionable. The issue I am having is, does Google feel the same way about them as I do? We have no current warnings but have had one in the past for "unnatural inbound links". We removed the links that we felt were being referred to and have not received any further warnings, nor have we noticed any significant drop in traffic or rankings at any point. My concern is that if I work towards getting the more ominous looking links removed (directories, reciprocal links from irrelevant sites etc.), either manually or with the disavow tool, how can I be sure that I am not removing links that are in fact helping our campaign? Are we likely to suffer from the next Penguin update if we chose to proceed without moving the aforementioned links? or is Google only likely to target the serious black hat links (link farms etc.)? Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Penguin link removal what would you do?
Hi Over the last 4 months I have been trying to remove as many poor quality links as possible in the hope this will help us recover. I have come across some site's that the page our back-link is on has been de-indexed, goggle shows this when I look at the cached page... 404. <ins>That’s an error.</ins> The requested URL /search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGNI_enGB482GB482&q=cache:http%3A%2F%2Fforom.eovirtual.com%2Fviewtopic.php%3Ff%3D4%26t%3D84 was not found on this server. <ins>That’s all we know.</ins> If goggle is showing this message do I have to still try to remove the link, or is it a case goggle has already dismissed the link?

Instability on the server - punishment in Google?
My site has about 50k pages indexed in Google. We are well respected, and we believe our stories add much value to the user. However, we are having serious problems with my hosting service and the site is unavailable for more than 15 hours. Unfortunately we also have no provision for him to return to work. I wonder if this kind of instability can cause some punishment on Google, if so, I wonder if there is anything we can do to tell Google that we are aware and working to resolve the problem.
