Hi,
301 redirect is best solution of your question because with 301 you can transfer your all traffic and bcaklinks to your preferred domain. You can check your domain in open site explorer and redirect domain which contain less backlinks. After redirecting you also set a preferred domain in webmaster tool for displaying your domain into SERP. Redesigning of website is really good because it gives Google fresh content of your site you can update content regularly.

Hi, which version of the domain has the most incoming links/authority? Also compare top level pages for www vs non www. I would make my decision on that and then redirect the appropriate one and add a rel=can tag. If you have pages from the other that are ranking, make sure you are 301ing the individual pages to each page rather than doing a sitewide that just 301s all non www pages to the www homepage (or vice versa).

Hello, I'm a physical therapy clinic in Fort Myers, FL. Currently my website is named "Physical Therapy Fort Myers". My company name is Back In Motion Sport & Spine Physical Therapy. My question is, should I rename my site under my business name or is it OK to keep it as "physical therapy fort myers"?

When does updating site content affect SERPS?
Can any of you shine a light as to when updating content on a website had any effect on its 'general' placement in the search engines? I appreciate that for an online newspaper, it must be important, but has anyone noticed from theirs or a client's site that by not uploading i.e. product descriptions or articles in general, that their site has taken a hit?

Is there a way to find out who is trying to damage my site
Hi, to cut the story short, i hired a seo guy to do work on my site, paid a lot of money, but then when he was let go all the links to the site were stripped and other work had vanished. I want to know if there is a way to prove this and to also check on any other damage that he could be doing at the moment to my site. The site was running high in the search engines and then dropped a short while after he was let go.

I have an eCommerce Site with in some cases, 100s of versions of the same product. How do I avoid "duplicate content" without writing literally 100s of unique product descriptions for the exact same product?
For instance, one item where the only difference is the Sports Team Logo is different, etc... or It comes in a variety of color Variants. I'm using Shopify.

How do you treat http/https and slashes at the end of a site?
I believe there is a difference between http://www.abc.com vs https://www.abc.com I also know that it shows security and whatnot, but how do you treat it? Do you submit both? Do you re-direct one to the other? What if you have had the non-secure site for years and the links are mostly crawled? My second question is similar as my report shows these two as different: http://www.abc.com/blog vs http://www.abc.com/blog/ I didn't think it made a difference, but when I submitted the links to Google it would not accept them without the slash at the end. Again, the same questions as above in regards to how to treat it. Do you submit both? Do you re-direct one to the other? What if you have had the non-slash site for years and the links are mostly crawled? -What about http://www.abc.com vs http://abc.com ? They go to the same page, but are they treated the same?

How to use good keyword URL to help main site
Hi. I'm a long time ecommerce guy and starting a third business. The main site URL is the name of the new business but I also purchased a .com URL that is our #1 keyword to target. So I need to know the best strategy to use the keyword url for helping with getting a top ranking for that keyword. I'm curious if I can or should build out the keyword URL site for the search engines and use a 301 redirect. Can you get top ranking for a site that just redirects? Anyway, I guess you get my question. This keyword gets a ton of perfectly targeted traffic so seems like a goldmine if I work it right. Thanks very much.
