How to track the performance of my guest blog posts?
-
I am doing some guest blog posting.and I want to measure how successful my effort was:
when deciding the value of the links from the article Does google take into account how many times the article is read? Because some people do not bother taking further actions (like/share/clicks) even they like it.
how do you guys check the amount of reader of those articles? I can't track this article views through analytics obviousely.
On the other hand let say the article create valuable info to the readers (many people read it) but no likes/shares/bookmarks would this still be a successful article marketing?

Apart from the SEO benefit from the link pointing back to your site in the byline, if no one clicks through to your site, shares or comments on the article then no it's not successful.
The idea of guest blogging is to generate exposure for your brand, I generally measure success by the level of shares, comments and click-throughs.
But that's just me.

What percentage of linking root domains is safe for guest posting
Hello, From what I've been experiencing and learning lately, link building seems to be good only in moderation and content marketing - stellar targeted authoritative content - attracting links and pushing it on social channels seems to be much safer. My question is, high quality guest posting - quality sites with good anchor text profile 3+ PR (hopefully more) and one link back from the body of the content to the home page or an article you're pushing - seems good but only in moderation. For high quality guest posting, what would you recommend our percentage of linking root domains to allocating to guest posting. I'm looking for a safe percentage that will hopefully not get devalued any time soon, and any additional advice on making this a good long term balanced strategy. Thanks.

How to delete a post on G+ business profile?
Any one knows how to delete a post on G+ business profile? There is something called ''mute'' , i don't know what that is but there is no 'delete' option.. Any ideas? Thank you, PS: I loved the new look and design on new Moz but it took me a while to find ''Ask a Question'' button. I wonder why it is that far away

Linking Facebook activity and your post
Hi everyone, I'm sure you know how images tend to do better in Facebook. The problem is, if I post an image on Facebook, and link to a blog post in the comment of that image, the activity of that Facebook post wouldn't be pulled into the blog post. That is, the blog would show 1 "like" when the post on Facebook is actually getting 150 "likes". That wouldn't be the case if I posted a link instead of an image. Does anyone know of a work-around? Thanks.

Tools for Automating Facebook Posts?
Hey Mozzers, We're revamping our social media campaign, and I'm looking for a tool that will allow me to schedules social media posts (Facebook specifically) in advance, so I'll only have to knock them out once a week. A cursory Google search has provided me with some options (HootSuite, etc) but I'd love to hear from people who actually use these services. What's your social media automation tool of choice, and how has it worked out for you? Thanks!

Good idea to include links in Facebook posts teaser-text?
Hi guys, I'm wondering; is it a good idea (for the engines primaliry) to include links with targeted keywords in facebook posts. From a user perspective I would say it's not desirable. But I'm wondering how Google and co treat links which they find there. They are nofollowed, yes. They are indexed however but when I want google to show me the text-only version of the cached page I receive an 404 error which is odd. Anybody else getting the 404 from google? Eg. clicking on this cache-URL: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:jsC_26QVKbgJ:www.facebook.com/echoonline/posts/156674087731661+site:facebook.com/echoonline&cd=3&hl=de&ct=clnk&gl=de&client=firefox-a and then on "text only" leads to this page which does not exist: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/echoonline/posts/156674087731661?_fb_noscript=1 Looking forward to your ideas on this topic.

How fast to post content to Google+
If an established publisher gets started on Google+, is it better to post one or two things a day like a real person would, or is it okay to do a "data dump" and post a ton of articles at once? Does it matter if the account is a brand or personal page? Thanks.

Google does not index individual facebook posts often?
It looks like google (regular organic) does not index individual posts from facebook pages often, more likely the wall of the page itself or separate pages. Can someone confirm this?
