Hi All,

I have noticed that ranks in the tool -rank tracker are not correct for my keywords sometimes. Does anybody else has experienced this?

Isn't it real time updated? What other free rank tracker tool you guys would suggest which can send you weekly accurate updates?

The rankings are updated weekly, and with the way SERP's can fluctuate daily its hard for them ever to be accurate besides the moment when they update.

I am curious how you are double checking your rankings now?

SEOBOOK's plugin is nice, also we use rank tracker a lot for when we need data instantly.

The one on SEOmoz are not live. I use Rank Checker plug in for firefox. I believe you can get it from SEOBOOK

Google Webmaster Tools, about multiple entries for your website

Hi I have a doubt about Google Webmaster Tools or Central as it is call today. I remember that google recommended to have one profile of your website for each domain structure. Let me try to be more clear one profile for http://www.yoursite.com, an other for http://yoursite.com, an other for https://www.yoursite.com, etc. Then in each of them we uploaded our sitemaps and cross our fingers. Now from my experience always the complete url have better index status from the sitemap. Now my question is, today as Google requested all our websites run under https, so conserving the other profiles is affecting how google index our pages? shall we have to delete the old profiles or is better to maintain them? Enabling Webmaster Tools data within Analytics

Hello, Im having a hard time connecting webmaster tools within Google Analytics i want to be able to see search queries in GA That's what Google tells me to do : "You can visit the Property Settings page in Analytics account management to change which of your Webmaster Tools sites' data you wish to show, and control which profiles on your Web Property have access to view the data." I cant find "Property Settings Page" in google analytics, or anything that has to do with "Webmaster tools" I was wandering if you can help me on that 🙂 Thanks

Using the SEOmoz API with SEOTools for Excel

Hi there, I'm trying to use the SEOmoz API in Excel, to get the Domain Authority and MozRank for a bunch of URLs. I've tried multiple techniques, but I can't get it to work. The code I currently got is from SEOGadgets post, and I'm using the SEOTools for Excel plugin. Here is what I got: =JsonPathOnUrl("http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/"&A3&"?Cols=68719476736";"$..pda";"<httpdownloader cache="false" pause="1" authenticateuser="REDACTED" authenticatepassword="REDACTED" requestmethod="GET"></httpdownloader>") The problem is, it always returns 1 for every URL. Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong? Or show me an easier way to do this? I have double checked the API keys and tested on multiple URLs.

Is there a tool to automatically gather website SEO data?

I am looking for a tool that will crawl a website and create a spreadsheet listing out all key data such as title, meta description, etc. Anyone know of an available tool to do that?

Page Rank Decline in Webmaster Tools

Hello Forum, My team and I just got through completely redoing an eCommerce website for a yoga company and I noticed that in Google Webmaster Tools our site's average daily position changed from ~25 to ~40 in the last 5-6 days (during this time period we submitted our sitemap). I exported the Webmaster Tools results and found a high number of new keywords (which weren't there pre-launch) related to yoga. However, these keywords are not related to the products we sell. Several of these keywords have positions of 240 or higher and are skewing our avg page rank. These terms include words like "cricket logo," "animal yoga," "dog pose," "cat yoga," We did move our blog into our domain name now and there are some articles related to animal poses. Any thoughts as to what may be going on? Thanks!

Google Keyword Tool versus Google Analytics

Hi I'm trying to establish a methodology to best show the gap between potential and realised organic keyword traffic. To obtain potential keyword traffic I'm using the Google Adwords keyword tool to derive local monthly search volumes for exact keyword matches. To get the realised data I'm using Google Analytics. However, to get the I'm confused as to which is the best way of getting a comparable metric from Google Analytics (GA). I was using custom reports and the 'organic searches' metric. However, this provides different values to a standard report selecting non-paid search in the default advanced segments. What is the best report/metric in GA to use for both organic and paid search volumes that would be comparable to the Google Adwords keyword tool. Thanks Neil

Google +1 and ranking effect .

Anyone have any experience as to what effect google +1 has on ranking? Trying to figure out what impact it might have. Ecommerce site in norway selling childrens clothing. Atm we are ranking 25th for main targetted word childrens clothing (barneklær in norwegian). on google.no this has a difficulty of 34. None of main competitors have any amount of google +1's on their site. Lets say if I in some way could manage to get 100 ppl to push +1 button. Would this affect our ranking at all ? Might be impossible to answer but if anyone has thoughts about it I am interested. Thanks
