Does anyone know of a good tool to drop a list of keywords into and get competitive and search volume results from?
Don't want to have to enter them one by one to the Google KWT.

That is a one word reply...duh. Cant believe I missed that one! Thanks Adam.

Thanks for the tool recommendation! I downloaded a trail version to check it out. It gets annoying that if you want to have the best tools for each aspect of SEO, you've got to own 16 of them.

As Chris rightly says, you can simply copy and paste a list of keywords into the keyword tool. Just remember to make sure each keyword is on a separate line.
You should be able to copy and paste a large number of keywords at a time but as far as I can remember, the tool starts playing up if you try to search more than 250 keywords at a time.

I'm a big fan of LongTail Pro for exactly this kind of keyword research. You can enter in say, 5 base keywords, and then the tool will automatically grab literally thousands of related keywords from GAKT. You can sort by search volume and organic competitiveness, as well as some other custom criteria. The latest version utilizes SEOmoz's API to determine keyword difficulty, which I've found very useful.
If you already have a list of keywords, you can still paste all of them in and get competitive and search volume data.
I feel like LTP isn't that well known by the mainstream SEO industry, likely because the website looks kinda spammy or geared towards the "IM get-rich-quick" crowd, but I swear it's the real deal - http://www.longtailpro.com/ (I have no affiliation with this tool, just think it's awesome!)

You should be able to copy and paste in Google KWT, if for some reason that isn't working I believe there is a plugin for bing that works in excel & is good for relative keyword volumes at the very least.

How much keyword density for Google?
I have several pages on one site which have gone down during the past few months. They keyword density on those pages, which is not unnatural, pleased Google for many years. it still pleases Bing. But Google now seems very picky. Based upon your experience, what is the ideal % keyword density for 2 and 3 word phrases, and should they be left out of alt tags even when proper to put them there? While Google dominates, we do not wish to alienate BIng/Yahoo. It is a huge mystery, and experimentation with more non-keyword-related text has so far not born any fruit. Thank you, GH

Question About Keyword Difficulty Report
If I am trying to assess the difficulty of ranking for a longtail keyword phrase that is 3 or more words long, should I put that phrase in quotes when I enter into the Keyword Analysis Tool or not? For example, let's say I want to see how hard it would be to rank for the phrase "best educational resources for teachers". Should I enter into the keywords analysis tool as "best educational resources for teachers" or just as best educational resources for teachers? Which one would give me the most accurate difficulty assessment for that phrase?

How to check Google Keyword rankings?
Hey, So I recently watched the DuckDuckGo commercial about Google's results bubble. My question is how can you get the actual keyword rankings of relevant key phrases without Google taking your locations and search history into account? Would it just be a case of clearing your cache & history from the beginning of time or is there an accurate tool (other than SEOmoz ofc that I can use? Best regards, Dan

Keyword Research - tools
Hello all, I would like to find better synonyms for my keywords, and dig deeper to bid / place strategy into place for them. I am currently using the adwords too but it only gives me closely related keyword ideas. Is there something "free" which can give me a better co-relation data to work with? Thanks Aditya

Creating Sub Pages To Target Specific Keywords
Hi Guys, Hope you can answer this question. Our website is currently on the first page in position 6 for a competitive keyword, domain is 11years old and currently has a PR of 4. At the moment there are 4 competitors above us one of which as two listings, they have managed to do this by creating a page dedicated to the keyword. E.g www.ourdomain.co.uk/key-word.html. Do you think we would achieve a good ranking if we built the same page but with fresh content and links pointing to that page? Cheers.
