As per my knowledge in past it's matter that you can put maximum 100 links per page but now is it still matter or harm if pages has Too Many On-Page Links?
And if yest then please let me know the best method to reduce my On-Page Links with out doing any major changes in website

Some time ago Google changed its text regarding number of links from a specific amount to a 'reasonable number of links'

I would agree with Jemin in that its not a huge deal his you have more than 100 links on a page. However, bear in mind that the link equity passed through your hierarchy will be reduced. If you are concerned then consider gathering together some related links and creating a new page from which these can link and therefore reducing the volume on your page going over 100.

My logic is very simple here, you are creating page for your users and not solely for search engines so if more than 100 links make sense on the page, go with it but if it doesn’t just don’t!
I have encountered many websites who got a positive jump in terms of rankings, and traffic after adding links on the page and you can research forum where people are writing about reducing links and why it is important.
In my personal opinion I think 100 links per page is just an indication but if you think you are doing it right, you don’t really have to follow rulebook all the time.

I have a blog with over 150 active categories plus my persistent navigation on top of that - about 70 more links and outlinks in each of about 30 blog posts on every page. It ranks great. Great. But it is a very healthy site with lots of spider activity.
Now, if you have a site with a huge number of links on the page, a huge number of pages and this site has very little power - then you are going to have a problem. (big ecommerce sites come to mind)
A few extra links on a healthy site should not be a problem. Check to see if your deep pages are getting into the index, staying in the index and have competitive strength. If that checks out then don't worry.

Hi Jemin
My experience of too many on page links is that I did a site redesign in 2012 and the on-page links went up to over 100, which SEOMoz crawl reported on my campaign. I was ranking well before hand with numerous first page listings. However after the redesign my ranking actually went up and my search engine traffic has been steadily increasing ever since - so in short if it make sense to have these links on page and you aren't repeating lots of links then I wouldn't worry. Have a look at some of the big ecommerce sites like Amazon who have well over the link limit on pages yet they rank very well.
I would just take this notice as a guide. In terms of reducing on-page links if you are still concerned then you will need to post your website as it is hard to make a judgement without actually seeing it.
Hope this helps..

Too many links per page? Double navigation on every page...
I have a client with navigation across the top of each page plus the same nav links in a sidebar on every page. Can that duplication (or the sheer number of links) on each page have a negative ranking factor?

Keywords in site maps. Can there be too many? Can they be considered to be stuffed?
Hi everyone,
On-Page Optimization | | TheJewelleryEd
I'd appreciate some insight on a keyword stuffed site map I've seen on a site similar to ours (we don't have this kind of menu ourselves).
https://www.1stdibs.com/sitemap/jewelry/stone/pink-diamond/
This is accessed from a site map. Do you think it's too blatant / keyword stuffed? I haven't done this with our site, but am interested to see a big reputable site doing something so clearly just for SEO.
Would it work? Or would search engines dislike it? I'd really appreciate your thoughts.

Too Many on page links on my homepage question?
Question, on moz analytics, for my homepage, I've gotten the " Too many on page links" notification every crawl. I've always ignored it because i didnt think it affected ranking or anything really. The on page links on the bottom of our homepage are landing pages. Most users reach those pages by searching those specific pages on google. We just decided to put them on the bottom of our page for unknown reasons. My question is, should i remove the landing pages on the bottom of our homepage? WIll it improve search rankings for my homepage? if i do remove them, should i put the landing pages on another page besides the homepage? Does google index my website better without the on page links on my homepage? My website is- prestigeluxuryrentals.com

"Issue: Duplicate Page Content " in Crawl Diagnostics - but these pages are noindex
Saw an issue back in 2011 about this and I'm experiencing the same issue. http://moz.com/community/q/issue-duplicate-page-content-in-crawl-diagnostics-but-these-pages-are-noindex We have pages that are meta-tagged as no-everything for bots but are being reported as duplicate. Any suggestions on how to exclude them from the Moz bot?

Excessive Internal Linking...But it's a product page. What to do?
A few of our companies sites' product pages have the warning about excessive internal links. But these pages are product pages (for example). Should we be worried about this warning? Are there ways to avoid it? Or is it just the nature of the beast...? Thanks in advance!

3 keywords optomize for home page. Should I create page with thoses keywords or leave it like this?
My online store home page, Furnace Filters Canada has 3 keywords with good ranking in google.ca keywords: ''furnace filters canada'' rank #1 position in google.ca keywords: ''furnace filters'' and ''furnace filter'' are on 5 or 6th position of page 1 in google.ca Those keywords are bringing most of the traffic to our site. To achieve this ranking, I had to use the On-Page Keyword Optimization, tool from seoMoz Questions: It is possible for me to create a page with the URL: https://www.furnacefilterscanada.com/Furnace-Filters or https://www.furnacefilterscanada.com/Furnace-Filter Can this improve my ranking with keywords like, ''furnace filters'' and ''furnace filter''? Is this a waist of time? If I decide to create a new page for optimization with, do I have to create one for singular and another one for plural? Creating a new page also mean removing, '' Furnace Filter'' in the home page title, until the new pages are index, I'm afraid to loss that 5th position in Google. Should I leave the home page title like it is now, '' Furnace Filter - Furnace Filters Canada - Online Shopping Store NOTE: we only do business in Canada, that is why Google.ca is more important to us Thank you, Jean Nichols

What is the effect of too many internal links on a page?
Hi there! We have been doing a great effort during the last year but our main competitor is still above us in search rankings. Basically, the main differente remains now in the number of internal links, specially in our homepage. We have more than 200 and they only have around 100, so I think we are wasting too much link power among some irrelevant pages. What could be the effect of this?
