Is there any tool that checks the rankings at any time I want?
-
My problem is that in Moz when I check ranking it shows me only on a weekly basis. Acording to MOZ I was on rank 11 yesterday. This is not what my SEO guy has sent me in his report. And usually he is right.
Would be nice to have a ranking report for each day. What is the sense of a ranking tool if I don't know what happened between 2 ranking dates?
How can I check that? Is there any rank history tool? Or a tool that will check in real time.
The way I do it sometimes is to go on google.com/ncr to see the us version of google because I am in Europe.
Rank tracker does not work for me at the moment. Get ranking button is inactive. My old keyword list has not been imported from SEOMOZ

Howdy,
If you're still having trouble with the Rank Tracker, be sure to shoot a message to the Moz Help Team at help@moz.com
Hopefully everything's been transferred over by now.
As far as other tools, if you need daily ranking I might recommend Authority Labs, as others have here.

I use a free Firefox extension from seobook called Rank Checker.
-
I find My SEO Tool is a pretty good lightweight version for small clients or small volume consultants.

Thank you guys
I will check those tools.
Rank Watch seems to be the most affordable but I will have to try them all before I make a decision.

A tool I used to use quite a bit was Rank Tracker (http://www.link-assistant.com/rank-tracker/) and the other suite of tools. I moved over to Moz for many reasons, but Rank Tracker lets you start and stop crawls manually. That does mean you have to do ALL the crawls yourself for the most part, unlike how Moz auto-does it for you, but it does give you that sort of granular control.

I was not suggesting that you had any personal association or any motive for recommending them aside from that you like them.
I'm familiar with rank watch there great product.
I just know the guys from gangplank that made authority labs and I know Scott from SERPs
I think all 3 do a outstanding job and all 3 offer a free trial so I would try them all see how you like.
All best,
Tom

Thomas I do not have any association with Rank Watch people... I always recommend this because I personally use it and kind of happy with it!
Authority Labs is also a good option!
-
I would say for something like that authority labs is a great product that gives you the SERPS just as well as
you really can't go wrong with either of these 2. They're both paid tools however most good tools are to be honest.
Personal results are great but only for your region. Google's changing so much not that I disagree at all with what Moosa said and I know rank watch is a quality product.
Respectfully,
Thomas

Actually ranking is one of the thing that can change even on hourly basis (happens in really tough niches) I always recommend Rank Watch as it not only check your rankings daily but maintains the history of it!
Although it’s a paid tool but it’s worth having!
Also, double check your query and may be what you are seeing is a personalized result... I use https://www.google.com/search?q=add%20your%20keyword&gl=us&pws=0 to check non personalized results.
Hope this helps!

Keyword explorer tool - keywords by domain functionality
Hi, We have issues with the new searching for keywords by root domain functionality in keyword explorer. We are based in Australia and need rankings for google.com.au, which is what we have set up within our MOZ campaign ranking reports. The explorer tool rankings are way off and not accurate for our site's actual rankings. Also, many of the top, high volume keywords that we are tracking and for which we rank on first page for are not even appearing when I do an explorer search using our root domain. Is the root domain functionality within keyword explorer providing results based on google.com rather than google.com.au? Does this mean that if we are outside the US that we can't use the tool as it is not accurate? Cheers, Damien

Rankings and visibility fluctuating wildly from week to week
I have 1 campaign (out of 9) that has it's ranking fluctuating wildly from week to week - and in the past 3 weeks, it's tanked, and the next week come back, and this week, tanked again (what I mean by that is Keyphrases ranking #1 dropping to +51 - I had over 20 keyphrases (both local and universal) that were ranked in the top 10 (many in the top 3) that are now at 18 or higher. I have not changed anything on the website in the last 3 weeks, but I've been working with Yoast SEO Pro to add in metadata, titles etc. The content, managed by the marketing manager, is basically unchanged. Help!!! This is the second time this has happened and our top competitor went from where we are now to #1 - We've been flipflopping week after week. Not good. I have also been getting an increased # of 803 and 804 crawl errors. Jon with Moz added me to the next beta cohort, but I can't imagine that this has anything to do with Google ranking. I have 2 campaigns experiencing a high number of 803-804 crawl errors but only this one with the dramatic ranking and visibility swings. mccdental.com is the domain for the campaign. I appreciate any insight. Newish client - NOT good.

Keyword Difficulty tool showing Google search volume or Bing?
Hi, I plugged in a bunch of keywords to know their search volume, chose Google from the drop down and then chose English from the next dropdown and clicked on Check dificulty. It shoes me "Bing Search Volume (Exact Match)" on top but shows the name of the keyword and "for Google CA" on the left. Is the search volume for Google? or Bing? and the difficulty as well? Google or Bing? "

Why does Moz Analytics drop my Google Analytics connection every time I login?
I get the following message every time I check the Moz Analytics dashboard on any of the sites I manage. It seems like a bug in the system. Does anyone know how to fix it? "We lost connection with your Google Analytics account. Don't worry — you won't lose any data. Please reauthorize now."

Why do my top linking domains according to Webmaster tools, not even appear in my OSE report?
I know the Google index is obviously a lot larger than the MOZ index...but.... I have 8,000 links from blogspot.com according to Webmaster tools, and just one link according to OSE I have 600 links from an online dictionary according to Webmaster tools, not one is mentioned in my OSE report. I'd go so far as to say most of my top 10 linking domains according to Webmaster Tools, don't even have a single mention in my OSE report. We've been hit hard by Penguin 2.0 and I want to look at our link profile.....it seems OSE may be great for looking at my competitors link profiles, but for my own site it seems to be, well, not very accurate at all! So from a trying to do undo the damage caused by Penguin 2.0 point of view, should I just use webmaster tools and forget about OSE? Thanks!
