Should I include a meta description for my tags on posts

Hi
Our crawl report detects that we have not put in a meta description for any of the tags we have used on our blog. (total tag words we have used is around 70). We have however, put a full description of each of our categories, do we really need to put a description for each of the tags we use? Will this really help us with SEO? Also can tags on posts be the same as the keyword your trying to rank the post/article about?
For further information We are using Yoast.

For the most important tags I would recommend writing meta descriptions to help increase traffic and leave it for the less important tags.

Yes and no. A good meta description can improve CTR. Google won't always use it. depending on the user search. Probably a good idea for your home page for when user searches your brand

It probably won't help you much SEO-wise, but are these pages showing up in the SERPs (the pages without the meta description)? If they are, you probably want to add a meta description so that Google displays it under the snippet.

How To Place A Last Updated Tag
Hi All, I hope this is something you can help me with. My website is running wordpress and I post frequently. However I do update a lot of my posts over time to keep them relevant. I would like to add in the last updated tag into my posts to clearly indicate this to the search engines. Duplicate title tag

A Lot of Duplicate Meta Descriptions
Hi Everyone Its polesandblinds.com newbie here again, I've Just been in Webmaster tools and see my site has: 278 Duplicate Meta Descriptions 13 Long Meta Descriptions 4 Short Meta Descriptions 304 Duplicate Title Tags We are Using Magento version. 1.6.0.0, It seems that our description content which is unique per page (200 to 300 words) is somehow getting put into the meta description, which I confirmed when I viewed the source code, however its not showing in the meta description boxes in magento. Does Title Tag have to be in the HEAD tag?
We are using templates that load the same header for every page. I'd like to just include a different title tag in the "body" template of each page. If I was to do this, does it affect SEO at all?

How long does it take Google to index new title tags and meta descriptions?
Hi, I have launched a website ( www.bookkeepingking.com )and would like Google to reflect the latest title tag changes in its results. How long does it typically take to happen? I believe this might be one reason why the site may not be generating any search traffic yet, even though I haven't yet begun any link building yet. A couple of notes: When I enter site:bookkeepingking.com in the search box, the pages show up, but with the old/default title and meta descriptions. I am using the Yoast for SEO plugin I have resubmitted the XML map - Yoast created 2... /page-sitemap.xml and /post-sitemap.xml The changes were made about 1 week ago. WMT says that there are zero errors. Is there something I may have missed? Or do I just need to give it more time? Thanks in advance for your help. Erin
