Google + with multiple locations
-
Hi guys,
So I want to make a google + page for my business, which basically lets people find and compare multiple airport shuttle, limo and transfer companies to find the one that is available and best suits their budget.
Being that these shuttle services are throughout the country, when I create the google + page I need to choose multiple locations.
Anyone know how to go about this, or the best way to do it?Thanks so much
Regards,
Marc -
Hi Miriam,
Thanks so much - will have a read of that article

Hi Cash Champion,
So, this sounds like you would be allowed to have a Google+ business page for your overall organization, but not a Google+ Local page for your individual locations as your business isn't actually local. For more information on the differences, here's Danny Sullivan's article from last November, written upon the rollout of these features:

Hi Mirian,
It s site that operates like a flight comparison tool, but rather for airport shuttle services.
So it lists, compares, and lets people book airport shuttle services throughout the country. It is a virtual business, but the businesses it compares and lets people book are location specific -
Hi Marc,
Is your business virtual, or do you have in-person contact with clients either at your location or theirs? From your description of your comparison engine, this sounds rather like a virtual business, in which case, it wouldn't qualify for participation in Local SEO, even if it gives information about other local businesses. It's important to first establish whether you qualify for local inclusion. Do you have further information to provide on this?
Miriam

OK, cool.
I'll give it a gothanks

Yes, but remember to write unique content / post for each one.

Hi and thanks for the response.
OK, so I would make multiple google + pages, even though its the same name just the location is different. So I would have TNT co New York, TNT co Chicago, TNT co Las Vegas, etc.?

I think the best way is create an unique business page for each location, and create unique content / links from each one.

How to Merge or Add YouTube account to Google Account
Hello Everyone. We have a YouTube account that has been around for many years. We also have a separate google account that we use for webmaster/analytics/adwords/mybusiness etc... We just noticed that our YouTube account is not linked to this same account that the rest of our business uses for all other Google services. Is there any way to add our existing YouTube account to our existing Google Account? We don't want to re-upload everything onto a new channel as we'd like to preserve the age of the videos plus the views and comments. Anyone know how to accomplish what I have in mind? Thanks in advance!

Schema for a local business with multiple locations
Hello I am trying to add schema to a website that has several locations. Is the best way to do this is by tagging the home page of the website as the business main location and then create a page for each location and then mark them up accordingly? Thank you for your help.

Use Google Places or Google +Local?
Hello everyone, My name is Zachary Russell, and I run a Philadelphia based WordPress Development and SEO firm, ProTech Internet Group. I have been doing work lately, and have been neglecting the fact that my own site needs work, I have now changed that. I have done a complete redesign and started repurposting content to have a well-rounded content strategy that can appeal the the widest possible audience. My issue I'm having now is this: I have both a Google Places page and a Google +Local page for my business , Obviously duplicate listings are a problem, but I don't know which one to get rid of. They both have 0 reviews and limited +1s, I just don't know which one I should delete, and which one I should push to get more reviews moving forward. Also, moving forward, would it make sense for me to have a Google +Business and a Google +Local page?I don't know if this would cause any conflicts either. Thanks for your help and have a happy new year! Zach Russell President, ProTech Internet Group

Does google places mind listing cities on the home page
Hello, A site in our industry is listing a bunch of cities on their home page and ranking for them. Like "Our dog training facility provides services to dogs in city1,city2,city3,city4,city5,city6 state" where the cities and states are relatively in their area. It's working organically, will this confuse google places? Thanks!

Google+ Local/Places isn't displaying my suite #. Should I leave it out of NAP on other directories, too?
HI All, For some reason Google is not displaying the suite # for a client of mine in Google+ / Places. I've entered the suite # in the back-end of Google+ / Places and it shows there when I log in, but the public version of the listing omits it. So the question is, should the NAP in other directories omit it as well? Google knows it exists, but is choosing not to publish it... Thanks! Zack

Consolidating mulitple Google+ Local pages with one Google+ Page
Hello All, I have trawled the internet, but can seem to find the answer to this question: "How will Google integrate multiple Google+ Local pages with one Google+ Page?" A bit of background to this. I work for a company that started online, but has since moved into retail stores. We currently have 14 stores around the UK. Now each of these stores has a Google+ Local page which were automatically converted over from the old style Google Places pages. I have read that these pages should be integrated with our regular Google+ account. All of the examples I have read about seem to relate to offline businesses that have moved into online, rather than online business that have moved into physical retails stores. And these examples are just one store, one Googe+ Local listing & one Google+ business page. That seems simple enough... but what about multiple locations?! Do I just need to sit on my hands and see what happens? Or are there things I can be doing now? Cheers for any help! Rich

Google Images in Normal Search
If you search for the term, "Crappie". Listed 4th is a row of images. These kinds of images always seem to grab my attention above the actual search results-- or at least they do for a moment. These images seem to be in order of google images rankings. I may try to take a swing at ranking for these images. Is there anything else I should know before I start? I can't seem to find any guidance on the topic. Thanks
