"Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization" - can't find the problem
-
Hi, I understand what this means (or at least I think I do!), but I can't find where the problem lies.
The keyword is "fire warden training" and the url is http://www.tutis-fire.co.uk/fire-warden-training-courses/
If anyone could lend a helping hand, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks again Doug - you were spot on. I guess it was lack of understanding between the way Wordpress sees a page and how Moz reads it.
It's right now.

Thanks Doug,
I did think of that, but as the feed came from a different source, and wasn't actually on that pages (in real terms), I dismissed it. I'll go and check.
Thanks,

Looking at the page, you've got a link in the footer to a news item with the following anchor text "Fire Warden Training at Elms Nursing".
I suspect that this is triggering the warning as you're pointing a link to another page with your keywords in the URL.
I wouldn't be overly worried about this, but it might be worth pointing a link back from the news page to your Fire Warden Training offering page so people could find out more about what you do, and increase the authoritativeness of your service page.
If the news item is no longer relevant, or getting visits, do you still need it?

What problem are you facing? Keyword Cannibalization is where multiple pages are targeting the same keyword.
Check your metas etc on pages that are causing the problem and remove references to that keyword. Start building some natural links \ social signals to the page you are targeting. The search engines will soon figure it out.
This blog post explains it pretty clearly: http://moz.com/blog/keyword-selfcannibalization
There are some useful tips in the comments of that post as well.

Moz Pro: Redirect Chain warning given to pages that don't have redirects
When I look up crawl errors for a page, I'm always told the page suffers from redirect chaining. However, when I do a redirect check (in this case, using the Redirect Path Chrome extension), it indicates that my page does not use a redirect. Why would Moz detect redirects, while no other redirect checker resource does? For example, this URL gets Moz's redirect chain warning: https://www.aem.org/news/january-2018/5-reasons-iot-projects-fail/ But there is no redirect associated with this URL.

Keyword Difficulty and Analysis : no search volume
Hi, When I use your tool, I've never a search volume (local and global) when I'm using this tool on Google Belgium French. But If I use Google US, I've no problem. Do you have an explanation? Is it because there is not enough volume in Belgium? Regards, Jonathan

How do you block keywords in On-Page Grader for certain URLs?
For the on-page grader, I rank A's for 9 keywords. I struggle with F's I have because it is searching keywords on pages that are not supposed to be searched. For example, I have a "bracelets" page, so I didn't optimize it for "rings", so I got an F. However, it graded me an A for the bracelets keyword, which is great. To be sure I am correct, each page should have it's own keyword, such as bracelet. So why is the grader checking my "Bracelets" page for "Rings"? Maybe there is something I am missing. Just trying to see why this happening.

Is there a way of finding past reports for a campaign?
We are wanting to find past reports so we can show how things have gone since we started working on a specific campaign. We get emailed the reports and just wondered if there was a way to find them within any campaign.

"Sorry! We weren't able to find that page when we crawled your site." Please help!
Can someone please explain whey I am getting this error for this link "http://lensoutloud.com/san-antonio-real-estate-photography/" when I attempt to perform an on page SEO grading? The link is indexed and ranking very well but for some reason Moz says it can't find the page when it crawled my site. This has also happened when I attempt to grade other pages on my site. Thanks in advance!
