Hello,
I think there is a lot of room for improvement to my SEO packages (analysis) page on my website. Visit it by clicking here.
I've always done SEO for our own business, so I'm new to this. Any help is appreciated.
btw: I'm going to redo the chart on the page. I don't think profit and sales would ever compare like that. Thanks.

Agree with most of the above.
And I'd add a more basic critique. I read the page twice, but am still unclear what I get for 3 months @ $350. Is it just analysis and no implementation? Few clients will wait that long for an analysis. Many expect to see analysis AND implementation AND and results....um...yesterday.
There are also a few unhelpful typos.

Think goals with every page of your website. For whom (target) is the page and what do you want them to do (goal) on your page. Lots of potential customers late in the sales funel (1) do already know what they want and what it is. Others need more explaining and need te be informed more (2).

Needs to know only what the benefit is working with you and need to fill in a telephone number so you can call them and close the deal

Need more information and want to be informed more (do not drown them though). You could offer them to download an whitepaper for instance.

Hey Bob,
How about making things a bit simpler for your potential customers? I'd suggest expandable bullet points, and you can include a piece of text within a point and have it function with the help of JavaScript. It'd look a lot more neat and clean.
I'd also show off others' testimonials, what others think about me and my services, and more importantly, what results I've achieved for others.

Looking at the page on your site, my first thought is that there is far too much text and information at this initial stage of your conversation with your potential customer for them to be able to process.
I would look at breaking down the page into a series of simpler bullet points outlining what you provide and avoid going into lots of detail.
Whilst I appreciate your motive for doing this will be the desire to be transparent with your potential customer, I think in many cases, they will neither understand or be concerned with how you are going to do their SEO (including the details of how many hours you will be spending), but will be more concerned with the benefits you will provide them with and the outcomes of your work for them.
I'm not sure that is what you want to hear and others may disagree with my thoughts, but I hope my thoughts are helpful.

Time to Separate Company Websites or Keep it on One Domain?
Hey Everyone! I am completely stumped with what I should do for the scenario I find myself in… I’m hoping with your experience, you could guide me into the right direction. Let’s say our current website is Brown.com (Brown Group Inc.). We have a splash page, which links to two subfolders Brown Minerals (Brown.com/Minerals) and Brown Pet Products (Brown.com/Pet). Both of these are separate companies but owned by Brown Group Inc. Each company specializes in different industries, sell different products, have different customers and have different marketing. The only common thing the two companies have is the brand name “Brown” and owned by the same person. Brown Group Inc.

(Brown.com/Pet) I work specifically for Brown Minerals. It is my job to develop a new website, build traffic to our website, improve our SEO rankings and to build the Brown Minerals online brand. I am afraid that the work I will be putting into building our online brand may not be as effective since we share the same domain name with Brown Pet Products, which their website is outdated, they have their own traffic, links, etc. specifically for their products & industry. My question is, should we keep both websites in subfolders on the existing domain name or should we separate the websites and put them on their own domain names (BrownMinerals.com and BrownPetProducts.com)? Should I implement 301 Redirects vs 410 in Removing Product Pages?
I manage an ecommerce site and had a question about 301 redirects vs 410 when removing product pages. What we have in place now is a 410 because we have removed products that are no longer available and the content itself no longer exists. In all my research, SEO Best Practices is to have a 301 in place. Should we replace our 410 with a 301 redirect or keep it?

A potential client would like to see published industry reports on ROI for SEO projects before they commit to doing. Please could you point me to some credible industry reports that shows the direct impact of organic SEO. Google Changes Up The Search Results Page
Hi Guys, As you Google has made changes on search results page. I have two points two discuss here : 1. Are we going to see more ads on left sidebar in future ? 2. Are you an in-house SEO or an Agency/freelancer SEO ?
Really curios about the pie split on SEO MOZ community about this. So, are you an In-house SEO or an Agency / Freelancer SEO ? (personally as prediction I would say in-House SEOs are predominant here - just curios to see the ratio - although not sure how many SEO MOZ members are reviewing the Q and A area but again it will be nice to see the ratio of the in house vs agency that are spending time on Q and A's).

Hi there, I see a lot of conversations about the term "seo is dead" because some people speak that seo are dead because of google plus and facebook. Is it true? What do you think? What do you think that is the future of our business? We will stay uneployed or we still continue to work? Me personally I hate facebook. Is just so much stupid (like most of people, I guess thats why is so popular) but what about google plus? Is a serious and worthy social profile.This will kill us? I read in SEL or SEW ,I dont remember which of them that this guy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farhad_Manjoo said that seo is dead and some are even supporting him.Also he said that "Google just broke its search engine" with the creation of Google plus. Me I think search msrketing,seo will live for long time yet,Me personally and my friends NEVER EVER CLICK on Facebook ads(if we do it , is just curiosity, and after we never visit again that page,this guys what I was reading their articles before they said that they see a lot of traffick from facebook.me also but the taffic from facebook dont do nothing,even in adsense they dont click on my sites,not to convert to buyers).I have 20 close friends and none of them cares what kind of content they find from facebook.Is our mentality (I am from CYprus)? Or is just a fact?That facebook ads are just some crap? Or general the acebook is a crap?Me i think that is.Is made for some people who are boaring and need something to kill time.so the traffick what you get is some boaring people who dont care about nothing, just some more things to watch and comment with their friends.So practically you have them on the site and after BAM, new hot site so bye bye.Never visit again your site.Why is so much importand?Their likes etc?The difference with google adsense is that all from our company are clicking on the ads and on the results. (much more on the results, because we think that is the best.Including me that I know that SERP can be manipulated.But we still prefer that.Why all speak about that SEO are dead? Are paid from facebook? WTF? How to Educate my Company About SEO
Hey Mozzers, I'm currently faced with a situation that I believe is probably quite common in the SEO industry. I'd like to get the input of the SEOMoz community to see how others have handled this situation and how I can use that to help my company and of course myself in this process 🙂 Here's the dealio. I recently obtained a position at a fairly large company ($500 million annually) with the task of being our Lead SEO, which I am loving, but am finding one thing to be a big hurdle to our success. Essentially no one here has any pre-existing knowledge about what SEO and inbound marketing are. There are a few younger folks who understand some of it, and a few of those who I work with on a daily basis are starting to get it, but I fear that many of the folks on our webteam and even higher up do not understand the value of SEO, the implications of certain things the webteam does to our website, and moreso the value of me being here as the sole SEO expert. I'm wondering if anyone else out there has been in a similar situation and how I might be able to effectively instill a culture of SEO within my company to get people to think about SEO before they do things. My first goal is to ensure people think about SEO before making changes to our site. My second goal is for them to see the power of proper SEO, thus proving how valuable I am to the company. Thoughts anyone?
