When searching for example.com, only example.co.uk is showing up. Why?

Hi there,
I have a quick question, when looking for our client's domain name in Google (Google.it, Google.co.uk and Google.com), we search for example.com, but the first (and only) search result showing is example.co.uk (which redirects then to example.com)
Why is the co.uk domain showing instead of the com domain where we are redirecting to? I don't assume that this is any form of penalisation?

Exactly that was the case, I've checked and they have a 302 redirect.

Hi there
I've usually seen this happen when one of the sites has existed and been indexed first and has gone on two earn lots of links. This usually occurs as well when there is a 302 redirect present, rather than a 301.
Could this be the case for your website?

Linking .com and .co.uk
My client has an online ecommerce store which he is due to launch later this week. He owns both the .co.uk and the .com - the site is hosted on .co.uk and the .com domain redirects to the .co.uk The client wants anyone who visits the site from the .com to see permalinks when later going through the site as .com as opposed to .co.uk permalinks. Search visibility increase with international SEO
Hi Moz Community, I am wondering if there is any tool and/or any sort of standard increase in search visibility I can assume that we will have with our website if we expand to start targeting Spanish with our site. At the moment we receive about 6000-7000 visits a day with 75% of that coming from the US and UK. I am wondering is there any way to make a rough assumption on visibility that will increase by launching a new Spanish speaking website. It would be a subdirectory, not a subdomain or gTLD. I am struggling to find a concrete answer on this and i'd like to make a semi-accurate forecast of the traffic we can expect based on the increase in search visibility that our Spanish language site will provide us. What's the difference between 'en-gb' and 'en-uk; when choosing Search engines in campaign set up?

HELP: Incorrect Meta Tag description showing for the wrong search results
Hi Guys I'm stuck here! I have update the hreftags, updated the sitemaps. I have 3 top level domains and my zenory.com site is showing for the home page the wrong meta tag description, as you can see in the attachement the meta tag is showing the new zealand site meta tag description which is for zenory.co.nz Anyone know what might be going on here? I have also fetched the home page through WMT as well and its still returning the same results any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

Moving British site to the US... who will have .com? US or UK?
We are the UK's first baby social commerce site launched in Nov 2011. We're doing quite well and are looking at expanding to the US. However I'm not sure what advice you'd give me in terms of internationalising the site. I see three options on how to deal with the URL structure? Make US site as .com as it will be my main source of revenue for the long run and redirect all British traffic to .co.uk Have .com for both UK and US but have the URL as either: us.babyhuddle.com or as babyhuddle.com/us/. Same thing for the UK Another option? Would love to hear the feedback from you guys. Thanks, Walid

Hi I'm looking to find the number of people who use different search engine sin different countries aspart of some research into an International SEO project.
