Google+ Local/Places isn't displaying my suite #. Should I leave it out of NAP on other directories, too?
-
HI All,
For some reason Google is not displaying the suite # for a client of mine in Google+ / Places. I've entered the suite # in the back-end of Google+ / Places and it shows there when I log in, but the public version of the listing omits it.
So the question is, should the NAP in other directories omit it as well? Google knows it exists, but is choosing not to publish it...
Thanks!

Hi Zachary,
This is a known issue I've run into before. Here's a similar thread from the Google and Your Business Forum:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/business/Rxy12Gx7Kf0
Definitely, use your complete address (including suite number) when creating your citations. Even if Google isn't properly displaying your suite number, they are aware of it internally, and your citations need to match it.
Hope this helps!

Changing / editing street view picture of premiss without drop in Google places ranking
Ive finally got a site quite high in the relevant Google places listings, after a year or so of trying. What ive noticed is that the auto generated street view image of the business is showing a row of garages round the back of the building, rather than the building entrance. Is there a way i can update the auto generated street view images of the business without risking the google places ranking / need to submit a move of address. Has any one had any experience with doing this in the past ?

Local query doesnt trigger local maps listings?
Hi guys, Ive been doing local seo for quite some time and had great results from both organic listings and local maps listings (and a merged listings). However ive noticed time and time again that local maps listings dont appear in serps on all local searches, even the most popular local search terms. Take the phrase "marketing company glasgow" local phrase, local intent but no maps results. But if you click on maps on the laft hand side, theres clearly tons of mpas results. Any ideas why google dont display local businesses on certain local intent phrases? Is there any way around this? Even with good on page seo, and good rankings organically, it would be great to get the maps listing on page 1 too. Thanks Robert

How can I segment traffic in GA referred by my google places listing?
Apart from using a parameter in my url, how can i segment the traffic that comes from my google places listing from the google serp (not google maps). It'd be nice if you can specify a display url and destination url in places profiles like you can with adwords. cheers! marc

One business location and several local business listings
Hi, I'm working for an apartment rental agency. The agency is based in one country/city and naturally the Google Places listing is shown when people search "apartments + location", but what to do when we expand abroad? Naturally we want to have a Local Business listing for "apartments + location 2" as well. Is it sufficient to have a "local office"? I see competitors have urls: www.domain/paris and www.domain/london that are listed in local search when searching " apartments + paris" and "apartments + london". Basically, the same site, different locations. I'm wondering if the solution is that simple?
