When do i use disallow links in WMT?
-
Hello, i have in Webmasters Tools 66 links to my website and i see many links of forums and blogs that copied the same post from another blogs, etc.. There are 2-3 always, i am not concerned but i don't know if i should use this tools to eliminate some links.
What do you think? When should i use this tool?
Thanks so much.

So, these are sites that scraped your post and then linked back to it? If that's the case, the links are good, in a sense - they help Google remove the duplicates. I'm not sure what you mean by "there are 2-3 always".
What does your link profile look like outside of this. If there are 66 links like this, and these are the only 66 links you have, it's possible you could be at risk. If these are 66 out of 6,000 links, then I probably wouldn't worry about it, especially if they're not paid links or somehow engineered (part of a link network, etc.).

Hi Thomas, thanks for your response.
I saw many links to my site (66), look some..
suchmaschinenmonitor.de - (7)
seo-ranking.com (6)
http://hoyhaynoticias.com/ (2)
rebajas.guru(2)
etc.. and forums, 3-4 posts in forums with links, all are follow.
Thanks.

Honestly without seeing the site or the links that you are talking about for me to tell you yes or no is impossible.
Unless you told me that you have purchased these links then I would disavow them.
It seems that if you're not concerned then it should not be an issue.
Are the links relevant to your site?
Are the links from any sites that have a strong domain rank?
Are any of the links no follows? (if so don't worry about them.)
If there forms and blogs that are related to your site that does not make them inherently evil. Nor does it make them so bad that they must be disavowed if they're just from any form or blog.
However if it there in any way shape or form set up to trick Google into ranking your site higher than it is then that's one worry about.

Spammy links
Hi Guys, I have a case which seems to occur more often for our customers. The websites of our customers seem to receive tons of backlinks from websites all over the world (China, Russia, Ukrain, etc). It’s spam we never asked for, we didn’t buy any dodgy linkbuilding packages or anything. Do any of you guys have experience with this matter? We try to disavow the links but it takes too much time and we will never manage to disavow 100% of all links. Examples are www.keukensduitsland.nl and www.m2beveiliging.nl Hope anyone has experience and maybe even solutions for this matter. Thanks!

Outgoing links
Hi Guy's, We have a website with no outgoing links (only Facebook). Is this a good way to score better in the SERPS? Or is it better to have some outgoing "relevant" links for a natural linkjuice? Thanks!

Will short linking to my site affect SERPs attribution of inbound link?
Some brand partners are using their short links to link back to our site (like bit.ly but they have their own). They have a high domain authority and trust so we want that link back to be read by Google. When I downloaded all inbound links from Moz, this brand's site was not listed, making me worried that the inbound link isn't being seen or considered! Haven't been able to find any info on this...

External links - link to third party sites
Greetings! Actually, got an doubt on linking to external site. The thing, i have working for roof marketers site. They have covered roof products. Each of the products have a page along with major keyword. Actually, i do link from other pages[internally]. Meaning,if i see any main keywords in different page then will link that to corresponding page/product[internally].This is what i am doing to get page rank. Now, my doubt. Some of the pages are having link with main keywords which directs to the third party site those who are really producing the products. But, i remove the third party-link which has with main keywords. Since already the site/my client site having pages for that main keywords. But client really want that link. meaning the links which they have given to direct to third party[product producer] site. So what should i do at this case. Can i just past RAW link like [http://www.thirdpartysite.com] or what do i do. But my client wants that link to be in content area. Hope you would understand my long explanation and case Please help us. Thank you

Reciprocal links
Are they worth anything, if they are from relevant sites? I'm I better off avoiding linking back wherever possible?

Link in the footer
we have a sponsored link in the footer of a website, and since that footer is displayed on each page of that site, it shows that we have thousands of links coming from that site. my question is : does Google consider this as spamming? and does it help us , harm us, or has no effect?

Linking to a pdf
Hi All I have a pdf that people can download from my site, what I want to know is that when people link to the pdf does the pdf share link power to pages linked to from within the pdf (like a html page would) or is the link power being waisted going to the pdf and should I somehow get the links to a normal page? The pdf is a free downloadable resource to people in the party planning industry and so gets linked to quite a bit by sites telling their readers to get the information we provide. Thanks for your thoughts Sean

Looking at Page Authority of a link to our website... what Page Authority number should we use in deciding the link is junk?
What are the Page Authority ranges? 1. Excellent link 2. Moderate 3. Total junk link Of course you look at the anchor text you can use, how many links are on the site, how often it is cached. Thoughts?
