I am launching a new site, what I need to know about backlinks
-
Hi
soon I am launching a new site. It will be focused on topics: Android, smartphones, reviews etc...
First I will buy a good looking WP theme, it will be responsive theme.
after that when I set up all in theme, after that I will start writing.
I will try to write interesting and good content....
This content I will share on my pages: Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Youtube.
So only remains, how to get good backlinks ? good backlinks for Google ?
Blog commenting is not good, right ?
Writing on relative forums and posting links as source of that information ?
Contacting other relative sites for sharing my content ?
Am I missed something or not ?
In your opinion, which is the best way of getting good backlinks ?
And what is the best solution in the beginning, because no one will know my site because my site is new.
Thank you

You need tools like MajesticSEO , SEO Quake and Quirk. Mozbar is also very valuable.
and then it is hard work!

Hi
Great thank you
Please tell me are all techniques good from this website http://backlinko.com/link-building ?
I have to admit that indeed there are good and useful information.
Most of the techniques from that site are when someone shares my content. There are several ways to do it and I like it.
But besides these technique, are there any other techniques from which i get good backlinks ?
How good are backlinks from good relative forums ? I was thinking to write mini reviews or something like that on forums and than put source of those reviews linking to my site. what do you think ?
Thank you

I agree with taking a unique stance, and offering content that other sites aren't. Another thing that may be useful to you is video reviews of products, and press releases. These can allow your content to get picked up by a lot of sources, for wider distribution. Make sure you share things that are actually newsworthy, and don't create a release just for the sake of doing it.
The video review option will provide a good fit for your site, as a large amount of consumers search for reviews of apps and Android devices before they buy. Having rich content and videos will increase on site time, and if it's helpful, can influence uses to do your sharing and marketing for you.
Best of luck with your new site!

Also look at "what can I offer that the other phone review sites don't currently offer? What can be unique about my site so that people will come to my site instead of one of the others already set up talking about the same thing?"

Ask yourself, who is my target audience? What are their burning information wants or needs? Then give them what they want or need in the form of pages and posts.
Establish yourself and grow your connections on the social media platforms where your intended audience likes to hang out. Share your stuff as well as other's. People will remember and seek you out when a need arises.

I'm sorry, I understood wrong.....
now i understand what he was talking about...
the second part i understad
but i have to say that it will be very hard to get someone to share my content.
thank you

You don't need to "remove "nofollow" from first custom URL on profile". Erwan is suggesting you make helpful contributions to the Moz community and by doing so, rack up your Moz points. When you earn 200 or more points, Moz will remove the nofollow attribute from the link to the first custom URL in your profile. A nofollow link from Moz is a very valuable incoming link to have. Moz's root domain authority is 92 out of 100.
Erwan's suggestion that you ingest the link building guide from Backlinko is a also a good one. Here are a few other sources of good link building information - http://www.pinterest.com/beseenontop/linkbuilding/.

1. what ???
why should i use removal of "nofollow" from first custom URL on profile ???
-
1/ Get 200 MOZ points for the removal of "nofollow" from first custom URL on profile :p.
2/ I would recommend you to read "Link Building: The Definitive Guide" ; http://backlinko.com/link-building.

Is it posible to improve site rankings working only with an other site?
Hi everyone, i´ll try to explain a situation is happening to me, i´m goint to try to explain the case (im writing the sites without links for explication purposes. Site 1: Adventurerooms Site 2: Adventureroomsmallorca Site 3: Adventureroomsmadrid (the new site) What happen is that at first there was only Adventurerooms and Adventureroomsmallorca, Adventurerooms was for Madrid and linked to the one in Mallorca too, was kind of giving the information for Madrid but in first page split with a link to Mallorca. In a new strategy we create Adventureroomsmadrid for Madrid, and leave Adventurerooms for Spain (with links to Adventureroomsmadrid and Adventureroomsmallorca. We redirect the info for Madrid in Adventurerooms to Adventureroomsmadrid with 301 redirections. We work during this 3 months in Adventureroomsmadrid making content in the blog, and improving (now Adventureroomsmadrid is Moz 15 (perhaps even more), and Adventurerooms is Moz 10. Surprising Adventurerooms is getting better in its search rankings, even when we took away content from it and even without working well. Adventureroomsmadrid is also improving but not as much as Adventurerooms (i know that is a new site, only 3 months), but Adventurerooms gets better results with no content and only DA of 10. I hope i´ve explain the case with my english so the question is: "Is it posible to improve site rankings working only with an other site?" Thanks in advance

Can you explain why a site with loads of keywork anchor backlinks is ranking well?
Hi All, A couple of years ago my site got punished and i kind of figured out it was due to keyword anchor text backlinks. I recently was considering getting a new SEO company and found one that promotes another company in my industry. However, when i look at the backlinks, of the website they do SEO for, via open site explorer - I noticed nearly all of the backlinks are keywords. website in question is http://goo.gl/6nRzLi And if you see the search results here: http://goo.gl/9bXoxY they are ranking on first page with very big brands - and have done for about a year - but nealy all of their backlinks are the keywords in this search... I understood this is the kind of thing that killed my website 2 years ago - are these backlinks ok? should i still consider this SEO company to work on my site, i 100% do not want my site to be penalised again so any advice appreciated. thanks James

Mobile Site Annotations
Our company has a complex mobile situation, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to implement bidirectional annotations and a mobile sitemap. Our mobile presence consists of three different "types" of mobile pages: Most of our mobile pages are mobile-specific "m." pages where the URL is completely controlled via dynamic parameter paths, rather than static mobile URLs (because of the mobile template we're using). For example: http://m.example.com/?original_path=/directory/subdirectory. We have created vanity 301 redirects for the majority of these pages, that look like http://m.example.com/product that simply redirect to the previous URL. Six one-off mobile pages that do have a static mobile URL, but are separate from the m. site above. These URLs look like http://www.example.com/product.mobile.html Two responsively designed pages with a single URL for both mobile and desktop. My questions are as follows: Mobile sitemap: Should I include all three types of mobile pages in my mobile sitemap? Should I include all the individual dynamic parameter m. URLs like http://m.example.com/?original_path=/directory/subdirectory in the sitemap, or is that against Google's recommendations? Bidirectional Annotations: We are unable to add the rel="canonical" tag to the m. URLs mentioned in section #1 above because we cannot add dynamic tags to the header of the mobile template. We can, however, add them to the .mobile.html pages. For the rel="alternate" tags on the desktop versions, though, is it correct to use the dynamic parameter URLs like http://m.example.com/?original_path=/directory/subdirectory as the mobile version target for the rel="alternate" tag? My initial thought is no, since they're dynamic parameter URLs. Is there even any benefit to doing this if we can't add the bidirectional rel="canonical" on those same m. dynamic URLs? I'd be immensely grateful for any advice! Thank you so much!

Better SEO Option, 1 Site 3 Subdomains or 4 Separate Sites?
Hey Mozzers, I'm working with a client who wants to redo their web presence. They have a a main website for the umbrella and then 3 divisions which have their own website as well. My question is: Is it better to have the main site on the main domain and then have the 3 separate sites be subdomains? Or 4 different domains with a linking structure to tie them all together? To my understanding option 1 would include high traffic for 1 domain and option 2 would be building Page Authority by having 4 different sites linking to each other? My guess would be option 2, only if all 4 sites start getting relevant authority to make the links of value. But right out of the gates option 1 might be more beneficial. A little advice/clarification would be great!

How would I know if Google is showing me as two separate sites?
I work for a company that is (for example) www.neat-stuff.com, most people just type in www.neatstuff.com. I think that we are being counted as a site twice. Any suggestions as to how to know for sure? If you want to know why I am asking this here is the link http://www.seomoz.org/q/redirect-help

New Site Launch- Bad Rankings
So I am slightly stumped. I work on a few eCom sites and over the past few months we have been launching new products as well as some site updates/upgrades. The issue that I am having is this. Product that is actually new this season, as in we did not carry it before, is ranking fine...generally speaking we are top 3 in Google with Brand/Product name. However product that is not new, meaning it has a new color or graphic but has been in the catalog for years is not ranking. In Prior years the URL's ended with the product name, now however they have additional information added to the end for this season. Would not directing the old URL to the new URL effect the rankings of these pages? I am open to suggestions beyond redirecting as well. Thank you!

Press Release Sites
Ok, I am getting a lot of conflicting information about press release sites. i have been doing press release's for a while (mostly manually), I have also tried a few companies that claim to do it well (never do). After the Panda update the PR sites I have been using are just not as effective. Does anyone else have this problem or are there better PR sites that can be recommended.
