Is anyone noticing you cannot get on Yelp?

I started trying to access for reviews and cannot get them on desktop or with mobile app. On desktop just keep getting a 408 response (timed out). My first attempt was around 11:30 a.m. Central time. Just curious.

Hmm, don't recall this ever happening with Yelp before. I guess we all have a bad day once in awhile

Down-time is never good for reputation management, especially during working hours!

So that makes it totally down about 2 hours now. As I responded they are saying "network issues" ...

Just saw a tweet re Yelp. They tweeted an hour ago that they were experiencing "network issues" and are working to resolve. It is 13:03 central here and still not up.

Yes it was down around 9am PST today. There server is probably overloaded.

Has Anyone Successfully implemented SpecialAnnouncement Schema?
Hello, I'm in the process of updating my clients' websites with the SpecialAnnouncement Schema type, and I'm wondering if anyone has successfully done so yet, and whether or not they're seeing any kind of results /richsnippets directly in SERPs from it? Also, has anyone else run into issues checking their schema with Google's Structured Data Testing Tool? Sometimes I get an error saying "specialAnnouncement is not a type known to Google," and sometimes I get one saying that "the property datePosted is not recognized by Google for an object of type SpecialAnnouncement." I assume these errors are because the schema type is so new, but you know what happens when you assume... Thank you for any insights!

How to Get google to get to index New URL and not the OLD url
Hi Team, We are undertaking a Domain migration activity to migrate our content frrom one domain to another. 1. the Redirection of pages is handeled at Reverse proxy level. 2. We do have 301 redirects put in place. However we still see that google is indexing pages with our Old domain apart from the pages from new domain. Is there a way for us to stop google from indexing our pages from Old domain. The recommendations to have Noindex on Page mete title and disallow does not work since our redirection is setup at RP and google crawlers always discover the new pages after redirection.

Getting the Proper CCTLDs & Subdomains to Rank in the Proper Countries
We seem to be having a really difficult time getting Google to do what we want in regards to getting proper domains indexed in the proper countries. In regards to English language, we tend to see a tremendous amount of crossover between .com, .in, and .co.uk. And yes international targeting is put in place. For example, both our .com and co.uk websites are in english and when someone enters a search query for one of our particular products, the .com website shows up to users in the UK. The countries with the hardest time are as follows and typically find them competing primarily with .com, but others can interlope as well. **All primarily in English: ** Canada UK India Australia Any ideas on how we can get this aligned correctly to where we can get the proper CCTLD to show up in the correct country instead of the .com?

Does anyone have a good program they use for full site audits?
I'm looking to find a program that will do the following: Scan for page errors including code issues, hosting issues, redirect issues, etc. Pages missing Google Analytics Google + Local audit to identify issues with NAP, citations, category selection etc. Find pages with title issues including missing page titles, duplicates or titles that are too short or too long, header tag issues such as missing H1 tags Meta description issues including missing meta descriptions, duplicate meta descriptions or meta descriptions that are too short or too long Link issues including broken internal or external links or missing anchor or ALT text Identify internal or external links using rel=”nofollow” Image issues, such as missing ALT or title text and broken images Identify pages using Schema.org microdata I know there are probably a couple programs that will do little bits here and there so I'm open to suggestions. Has anyone had any success buying a local domain website, getting it on first page and then selling it to a local business? I have found some good domains that this might work for but I am wondering if anybody has tried this before.
I would like to buy a local domain like scottsdalepaintingcontractor.com and then seo it to first page before I sell it. Has anybody tried such strategy?
