Can you recommend a link builder from the Moz list?
-
Does anyone have any experience with some link building companies on the Moz recommended list? There are a lot of them on there so I would like to hear from you if you have used them and what type of results you got.
Thanks

And that you get a list of links they built. If they're on the Moz recommended list, they should be the type of company that does that, but it's just a general note. You want to be wary of the ones who say they're giving away secrets by telling you the links they've made.

It depends on what you need. Some companies will have more experience in certain niches and be able to turn-key the linkbuilding since they know all the sites where you need to be. Others may be better in your local market since they will already know any local listings where you can get links and likely have contacts at the local newspapers and magazines as well. Just make sure the company has a strategy that they can explain to you before you start.

Thanks Cyrus.
I was hoping the community would have a little more experience with link builders on the preferred list, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Here's the list in question: http://moz.com/community/recommended#link-building
Let's put it this way: based on my experience with the companies on this list, there are very few I wouldn't recommend as a link building partner.
Obviously, some companies are more specialized than others. Some companies specialize in link building, while others offer it as part of a larger, integrative service.
It's a good bet if the agency has a dedicated service page that describes their link building process in any sort of detail, that it's something they specialize in. Cost is another consideration, and most companies should be upfront with you about this.
-
So you don't think a single Moz preferred partner is any good at link building?
-
You probably would have a better bet doing the linking yourself. Chances are if they're specifically in link building they won't get many quality sites and will be more harmful than good.

Paying for listing rather than a link
Hi If you pay to have a website listed within a web page as it will be beneficial to have it there for both the business and website audience, is this considered a dangerous tactic? The link is relevant to the situation and its not being done simply for a link Thanks in advance

Penguin Recover: Remove links vs Burry Links
The best is to do both. However with those with limited resources, would building more links with branded and naked URL anchor links be a better solution than painstakingly asking every webmaster to remove links.

Whats with these links
I have a competitor
Link Building | | AlanMosley
that has shot up lately taking number one spot for various keywords when I look
at his links in Open Site Explorer I find many links that are links to downloadable
objects, not web pages. A few
examples, if you click on them, do not open who knows what they are. But what
the story, how are these links to his site, anyone know anything about this. Link to those that link to you? Worthwhile?
We have thousands and thousands of sites that link to a domain we are working on, many with low page authority and high domain (bloggers, forum posts, etc). Has anyone experimented with linking to the pages that link to you (not from your site) but from other means in an effort to boost their quality? I'm not sure what method we would use, maybe some relevant blog comments or social votes. But curious if this could be an effective method.

How to improve (ASAP) the linking root domain, the followed linking root domains and the linking C-Blocks? Linkbuilding (or whatever) techniques.
I have a small site (.com) like any website in my sector. 30-90 pages. I have no crawls errors. Everythings is fine, just I need to improve my linking root domain, the followed linking root domain and the linking C-Blocks. Example: my competitors have 300 (one of them have 1300) of total links. I have 30. Anyone know some good strategies? techniques? tips? I just dont want to be in a farm directory, I want free links. I'm already running two strategies but it works so slowly. I want something faster at this moment. Also, any recommendation will be thankful.
