Does anyone know of a predictive demographics software that helps a website predict its audience based on cookies, or whatever info it has?
-
Hi guys,
I'm looking for a predictive analytics software for better understanding our audience online. Has anyone heard of or used a software that takes the visitors currently coming to your site and uses that data to 'predict' more information about them? Such as age, location, purchasing power, etc?
Please let me know if you have!
Thanks,
Sabilah -
Hi Sabilah! I am not really aware of any tools like that at the most, although I definitely agrees with To the Quantcast is definitely a good fit. My Company is do some research right on ow to predict neuro-linguistic patterns in certain specific target audiences and demographics but we still a long ways off from being able to built what you're looking for here. So far now, I'd stick with Quantcast

Thanks for all the responses. We've got in touch with Quantcast and that seems like the best solution so far (we haven't investigated all of them).
Thank you so much for all the help!

Hi Sabilah!
You've received some good responses. Did any of them help you resolve your issue? If so, please mark one or more as a "Good Answer". Regardless, we'd love an update or more as a "good answer". Regardless, we'd love an update on your search for new software. Thanks so much.

Hi there
While it's not predictive analytics per se - take a look at Nielsen PRIZM. There's some great information in there.
For content marketing, you can look into InboundWriter.
But as far as demographics specific, I am not sure off the top of my head. I have been reading about a product called Bombora, but I haven't looked into it. Here's an article in Forbes.
I would connect your Webmaster Tools to analytics, deep dive your demographics and interests, learn about attribution, and also take a look at the multi-channel funnels. Your audience is going to be unique, learn as much as you can!
Hope this helps a bit! Good luck!

Hi Sabilah
You may want to take a look at Quantcast and SimilarWeb - Quantcast in particular I think has the ability to show what you're after.

Google not giving ranking to the intended page of my website.
Hello friends, This is my very first question, I hope I will explain my issue correctly. I have created two pages related to SSC CGL keyword on my website: https://www.ibtindia.com/ssc-cgl-notification-exam-date 2) https://www.ibtindia.com/ssc-cgl-apply-online I want to target the keyword SSC CGL Apply Online on the 2nd URL but Google is only considering the 1st page for all the "apply" related keywords as well. Can anyone suggest to me how to get the second page in rankings for its intended keywords? I will be very thankful for this help. I tried adding image but its showing dummy. Within the Q&A forum, is it spam to include a website in our signature?
Hello Mozzers! I've seen several contributors that end their questions and responses with a website. Just for the sake of the argument, this is an example: -- Some text about the response/question --- Hope I've helped. Gaston Riera www.domain-Gaston-company.com To clarify more, the URL does never have a link. I've always considered that this is a place to share and help other by ours/others expertise not to self promote implicitly our company.

So, my question is related to the rules and best practices in the forum: Is it spam to include a website in the signature of a message? Does Moz's community staff take some action about those? Thanks!

Re-Launching Old website with New SEO Friendly Features - What should I track?
Hey Mozers, I was brought on to the team to Optimize the old website to make it more SEO friendly and I was able to get some cool features up. What Analytic Key points should I keep track of? The website launches in 2 weeks and I think Now would be a great time to start gather data bout the old site. I'd like to make sure I keep the website under a microscope to make sure there are as little errors as possible. What am I missing I already have: Page Authority Domain Authority Bounce Rate Time on page Visitors/Sessions Unique Visitors/Sessions

Free Tool that allows you to compare traffic for multiple websites
I'm banging my head on this one. In the past I was able to use Compete.com, Quancast, Google Trends, and Alexa, but now all these sites either required you to have Pro membership (pay) or they discontinue it like Google Trends for website. I need to do this comparison for one of my client... their traffic versus 4 of their competitors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Have a blessed Day, Benny

Should my commerce store be on a separate domain to my main website
Hi, I have a brochure style website mycompanyname.com that gives lots of detail about my company and what services we offer etc. I am soon going to be adding an commerce solution (haven't decided on opencart or paid such as shopify yet). I was wondering... is the best way to have a shop to have it on a completely separate domain like mycompanynameonlinestore.com or simply add it to a sub folder on my main brochure style website like mycompanyname.com/onlinestore Many thanks to anyone who takes the time to help me make up my mind!!!

Correct approach to a business website with separate content for personal and business customers
I'm laying the groundwork for a fairly involved website. The website is for a telco that caters to both residential and B2B. I was browsing the websites of the likes of Verizon, AT&T, Sprint & T-Mobile. What I saw is that they compartmentalize almost everything - all their business pages are in a business subdoman, all their investor info is in an investor subdomain and so-on. So I'm going implement this strategy on this website update. I just want to make sure that my idea makes sense and isn't a complete cluster****. I've attached a link to the mind map. Everything with "(sub)" attached to it is a subdomain. Everything else is a page at the root level of the top domain. Most of the visitors we get to the website are residential, so instead of loading a portal at first and asking if they're there for person or business reasons, I'm considering forwarding all visitors to the top-level domain to the personal.example.com site. Is this okay or would it be better to just keep the content in the top-level rather than forwarding all traffic to a subdomain? Thank you! 1JY7DWw

HELP! 75% Drop in Traffic with no Explaination
Hello Everyone, After looking at one of my websites, http://pokeronamac.com/ I noticed that there is a significant drop in all traffic to my site. I cannot figure out what the exact source is, as we received no warnings in WMT, and as far as I know there are no major updates released in the last week or so by Google. I took a look at the content section of GA and I saw that virtually all of my content was seeing a decrease in traffic, meaning that it isn't specific to a few pages, which leads me to believe that it is an algorithmic penalty. My confusion was that there was no changes made to the website in the past few months, although, on September 10th (5 days after traffic dropped) I updated the meta descriptions and titles site wide. I don't believe that the penalty is from Panda or Penguin because we actually experienced a positive influx in traffic during the week of April 25th. I'd appreciate any insights into helping me recover from this so I can get the visits again that I had before. If any other metrics are required, i'd gladly provide them. Thanks Zach Russell 8NBwn.png

Has anyone yet seen any Search or User benefits from implementing any Schema tags (as in Schema.org) ? Thanks
Schema tags have been around for a while, am really interested in knowing of any noticeable benefits seen by anyone who has had experience of implementing Schema tags.
